Leszkow, David ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Reckziegelová, Petra (referee)
Title: Differences in Approaches to Prevention and Therapy for Female and Male Football Players with ACL Injuries - A Systematic Review Objective: The main aim of this thesis is to investigate whether there are different approaches to the prevention and treatment of ACL injuries in male and female football players. Methods: The thesis is prepared as a theoretical text in the form of a systematic literature search using PubMed, Web of Science and PEDro databases. The first part of the thesis contains the current status of the studied issue, theoretical background and treatment options for ACL injuries. The second part is descriptive-analytical in nature. It contains an analysis of the studies included in the thesis. Results: After the search, 4 studies met the criteria. Each of them focused on injury prevention, but unfortunately none of them investigated physiotherapy as such. However, the evaluation of the studies shows that both men and women use the same prevention programmes in football, which can reduce the risk of injury by up to 50 %. A limitation of the search is that most of the studies used did not examine the effect of prevention on both sexes simultaneously. Keywords: ACL, LCA, přední zkřížený vaz, ruptura, plastika, prevence, poranění, fyzioterapie, rehabilitace, postup, ženy, muži,...

Later on there was also learnt that there is not a statistically significant difference in the attitude of men in the South Bohemian and Vysočina region depending on age or the highest level of education. The study also revealed that there is not a statistically significant difference in the attitude of men in the South Bohemian and Vysočina region to the testicular self-examination depending on age or the highest level of education. According to the questionnaire survey we also found out if men undergo preventive medical examination, whether they had been informed about the testical self-exam, if they examine themselves, or, where they get information about these issues. Movement activity of vegetarian men
KUDRNOVÁ, Marie
The bachelor's thesis entitled Physical activity of vegetarian men consists of two parts. In the first, theoretical part, I discuss men, vegetarianism and physical activity. I focus on the concept of vegetarianism as such, the division of vegetarians, the motivation to become a vegetarian, the history of vegetarianism. In the next chapter I deal with a man, his personality, gender issue and in the third chapter I deal with physical activity. The aim of this work was to determine the level of physical activity in a specific group of men who can be described as vegetarians. Data on physical activity were obtained by questionnaires of physical activity IPAQ-long and weekly monitoring with a pedometer repeated two times. The results, which were measured and processed are compared with the results of measurements in an equally large group of men, but they eat in a conventional way. 34 men eating vegetarian and 34 men eating normally were contacted. Research has shown that vegetarian men have a lower BMI than non-vegetarian men, but no significantly higher levels of physical activity have been demonstrated.
