Bakalářská práce s názvem Pohybová aktivita mužů vegetariánů se skládá ze dvou částí. V první, teoretické části, rozebírám muže, vegetariánství a pohybovou aktivitu. Zaměřuji se na pojem vegetariánství jako takový, rozdělení vegetariánů, motivaci pro to stát se vegetariánem, historii vegetariánství. V další kapitole se zabývám mužem, jeho osobností, genderovou otázkou a ve třetí kapitole řeším pohybovou aktivitu. Cílem této práce bylo zjistit míru pohybové aktivity u specifické skupiny mužů, které lze označit jako vegetariány. Údaje o pohybové aktivitě byly zjišťovány prostřednictvím dotazníků o pohybové aktivitě IPAQ-long a týdenního monitorování pohybové aktivity krokoměrem s opakováním po půl roce. Výsledky, které byly naměřeny a zpracovány, jsou porovnávány s výsledky z měření u stejně početné skupiny mužů, kteří se ale stravují běžným, konvenčním způsobem. Osloveno bylo 34 mužů stravujících se vegetariánsky a 34 mužů stravujících se normálně. Výzkumem bylo zjištěno, že muži vegetariáni mají nižší index BMI než muži nevegetariáni, ale nebyla prokázána výrazně vyšší míra pohybové aktivity. The bachelor's thesis entitled Physical activity of vegetarian men consists of two parts. In the first, theoretical part, I discuss men, vegetarianism and physical activity. I focus on the concept of vegetarianism as such, the division of vegetarians, the motivation to become a vegetarian, the history of vegetarianism. In the next chapter I deal with a man, his personality, gender issue and in the third chapter I deal with physical activity. The aim of this work was to determine the level of physical activity in a specific group of men who can be described as vegetarians. Data on physical activity were obtained by questionnaires of physical activity IPAQ-long and weekly monitoring with a pedometer repeated two times. The results, which were measured and processed are compared with the results of measurements in an equally large group of men, but they eat in a conventional way. 34 men eating vegetarian and 34 men eating normally were contacted. Research has shown that vegetarian men have a lower BMI than non-vegetarian men, but no significantly higher levels of physical activity have been demonstrated.
