This bachelor's thesis focuses on the construction of an investment stock portfolio for a retail investor. The thesis is divided into three main parts. In the theoretical one, the concepts that are essential for understanding the issues of this thesis are defined and delineated. The analytical part deals with the analysis of individual companies and including the calculation of the intrinsic value of their shares. In the last, design part, an investment stock portfolio for a model retail investor is created based on the findings of the analytical part.

Proposal for Expansion of the Portfolio of an Exchange Traded Fund with European Technology Stocks

This diploma thesis deals with expansion of the ETF portfolio in order to meet the requirements of the fund while complying with their valid statue. The first part of the work is theoretical research of all discussed concepts, methods and indicators used in other parts of the work. In the practical part, indicators of companies are analyzed, then they are compared with each other and then verified using a bankruptcy model. Based on the above, a proposal is then presented to expand the ETF with specifically selected shares of the analyzed companies.

The investment portfolio and its creation

The thesis on "Investment portfolio and its creation" focuses on the application of fundamental analysis, the output of which is the creation of a stock portfolio suitable for the profile of a retail investor with a value approach. The companies analyzed are listed on the US stock exchanges and are classified in the technology sector. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the definition of the theoretical background related to the issue of investment portfolio creation and fundamental analysis. The analytical part of the thesis is devoted to the development of the necessary analyses, which subsequently lead to the calculation of the intrinsic value of the selected companies based on the FCFE model. The results are then compared and evaluated using the scoring method of cross-company comparison. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the elaboration of investment recommendations for the client.

The thesis deals with the proposal of the financial plan of the company DOSTA CZ, s.r.o. The first part of the work is focused on the theoretical bases that are needed for processing the given topic. In the second part of the thesis, basic information about the company DOSTA CZ, s.r.o is presented and its strategic and financial analysis is carried out. The last part of the thesis contains a draft of the financial plan for the next four years, which is further evaluated through financial indicators.

Proposal to Supplement the Investment Portfolio of the Hegde Fund

The bachelor thesis focuses its attention on the development of a proposal to supplement the investment portfolio of the hedge fund of by shares of the technology sector. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the possible functioning of hedge funds in the contemporary conditions of the Czech Republic, including a description of investment funds and legal aspects. The following section focuses on investing in shares and financial analysis, where an analysis of ratios, methods of intercompany comparisons are presented together with bankruptcy models. The beginning of the practical part is devoted to fund status and primary company selection. Suitable companies are further subjected to financial analysis, intercompany comparisons, and bankruptcy models. The conclusion of the practical part lies in the distribution of individual companies into the portfolio of the hedge fund, according to the results analyses achieved.

Application of Fuzzy Logic for Evaluating Investments in Stock Markets

The theme of this thesis is the application of fuzzy logic decision support in stock markets.. It theoretically describes the principles of fuzzy logic and selected tools used for trading on stock markets. In the practical part of the work, this information is applied to develop two models for evaluating ETFs using fuzzy logic. Both models, one in MATLAB and the other in Excel, are based on the same fund criteria, yet each model processes and evaluates these inputs using different methods. The results from these models then serve to support decisionmaking for investors.

Determinants of economic security building block of well-being of university students

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the topic of a comprehensive examination of the relationship between economic security and the well-being of university students. The aim of the thesis is to determine how financial stability, financial literacy, and other economic factors affect psychological and physical well-being. Everything is placed in the context of the current economic and social conditions, which are constantly changing. Global and geopolitical events that have influenced the view on well-being as such in recent years and forced the population to reconsider priorities and the way of perceiving security and overall well-being are mentioned aswell. The theoretical part of the thesis addresses individual concepts and current trends in well-being, for example, the PERMA+4 model, which expands well-being to include economic security. Everything is set in the context of influencing overall well-being in connection with financial literacy and financial stability. Pension fund investments in the Czech Republic

Pension fund investments in the Czech Republic Abstract and keywords The thesis deals with the regulation of pension fund investments in the Czech Republic, specifically the investments of participating funds, transformed funds and the pan-European personal pension product. In the thesis, I have described each of the considered systems in turn and made a comparison between them. The aim of my thesis was to describe the regulation and to suggest possible adjustments to the regulation so that it could lead to better outcomes for participants in pension products. I have used communication with investment professionals and academic papers on the subject to determine the practical impact of each regulation. The analysis I carried out led to the development of recommendations, which I used to conclude the sections for each pension product. I also inserted some recommendations into the sections on the different aspects of the pension products. The thesis is divided into four chapters, the first of which is an introduction to the system that has been established in the Czech Republic. Household cost analysis

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the cost of a house in the area of peripheral constructions and the effect of thermal insulation on energy consumption for heating and hot water. The theoretical part generally defines renewable energy sources, heat sources, thermal transmissions and structural losses, basics of valuation of construction works and supplies and overview of state subsidies. In the practical part are proposed composition of peripheral constructions, calculation of heat transfer coefficient of all designed perimeter structures and their subsequent evaluation. Furthermore, there is an estimated annual energy demand for heating and hot water and annual electricity consumption in the household. At the end of diploma thesis is a proposal of suitable energy sources and calculation of the return on investment in these sources.
