Around Everything I've Got
Moštěk, Richard ; Chomová, Juliána (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The central motif of my bachelor's thesis is the expansion of a fictitious universe with the help of displacement the boundary of the perception of the object as an image when entering the space. I'm trying to find an edge the perception of the image as a documentation of fictional stories on canvas, versus an artefact in spite identical use of material and technical process. I am exploring the limits of the canvas stretched on the frame and approaches to "multispectality" through which the work can track. The stylization of the painting is influenced by the aesthetics of the first digital feature films animated films and video games from the 1990s and 2000s. The default connecting point for the individual works are a relationship between a wooden frame, cotton canvas and oil paint. Imaginary point zero. The timeless narrative mirrors the significant features and patterns of human action society, including my inevitably subjective point of view. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a set of oil paintings with exaggeration reflecting civilization's reluctance to mature to the long term sustainability. The final output of my project is an installation of paintings/creating objects the scene for the viewer himself – the third person.
Re Vision
Švehla, Jakub ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Kögler, Žaneta (advisor)
In form of 3D animation the thesis depicts the steps of mankind towards the expansion of civilization beyond planet Earth. Chronologically it exposes essential moments of technological development (in major) preceding the journey for the distant planets. Images of today's state of civilization are combined with constructions of former theoretical concepts and with fully fictitious elements to form visuals illustrating the roadmap to extraterrestrial expansion.
FORMATION OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM AND ITS PRESENTATION WITHIN LESSONS AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
KLEISNEROVÁ, Sandra
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is, how the Solar System is being taught in elementary schools. The first half is focused on the formation of the Solar System, its history and the newest discovered facts. Then, it focuses on data about the Sun, the Moon and other planets that are included in the Solar System. Next part deals with the research and opinions of the teachers about the options of running their lessons and the research of the student´s knowledges using an exam. Afterwards, these exams are graded and subjected to research. Next, there is an analysis of teaching materials and a presentation about the problematics of Framework Education programme and School Education programme. Finally, there is a design, how classes should be taught about the formation of Solar system after the detailed and diligent study of literature, observations and researches.
Using methods of drama education in preschool children
KORCHOVÁ, Adriana
In my work I deal with dramatic education and its use of dramatic methods in preschool children. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part specifies dramatic education and concepts, methods, techniques associated with it, as well as the development of pre-school children and pre-school education, in which I also deal with the Framework Educational Program for Pre-school Education. Part of the practical part is a project on the theme of "Space", thanks to which I find out how to use methods in kindergarten. The main idea of my bachelor thesis is to prove the importance of drama education when working with preschool children. In my work I use observation method, method of interview with colleagues and parents, observation of colleagues and parents.
Non-standard analysis and its applications
Hýlová, Lenka ; Pražák, Dalibor (advisor) ; Slavík, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to apply methods of nonstandard analysis on the topic of strong derivative. First of all, we sum up basic knowlegde of nonstan- dard analysis, we introduce some nonstandard definitons (such as continuity, derivative, . . . ) and we prove the equivalence of standard and nonstandard definitions. In the second chapter we introduce the notion of strong derivative (in both standard and nonstandard way) and we prove rules for its computing and some basic properties. For example, if a function has strong derivative at some point, then it satisfies a Lipschitz condition in a neighbourhood of this point. In the final part of the thesis we define strong partial differentiability and we prove the theorem which claims that the existence of partial derivatives of a function from R2 to R with respect to both factors, one of them strong, implies the existence of a total derivative. 1
Antropological aspects of theology and the work of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
KLIMEŠOVÁ, Anna
The bachelor thesis called "Anthropological Aspects in Theology and Writings of Teilhard de Chardin" briefly focuses on the life of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. Thought intersections of philosophy and mathematics
Hlavešová, Ilona ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Blažková, Miloslava (referee)
The submitted thesis addresses the ideas that are at the intersections of philosophy and mathematics. These intersections have been in the course of the history as follows: Numerical ratios, the concept of infinity, continuum partition, space specification, determinism versus randomness and exploring of the mathematics foundations with an overlap into philosophy. The results herewith presented have been achieved on the basis of the HTF lectures and seminars, available literature, my own knowledge and reasoning. The thesis documents processes of how mathematics stimulated certain philosophical principles and vice versa how mathematics was influenced by philosophical views. Last but not least, there are presented comparisons between philosophic propositions and the current mathematics and physics knowledge in the mentioned intersections.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to translate Chapter 10 - Mirror Worlds - from George Basalla's book Civilized Life in the Universe: Scientists on Intelligent Extraterrestrials. This thesis includes the translation and the source text, as well as a commentary on the translation. The commentary theoretically reflects the translation process and is divided into four parts. The first part contains an analysis of the source text and potential translation problems. The second part describes the selected translation method and also comments on the differences between the source and the target communication situation. The third part comprises typology and solution to the translation problems. The fourth part describes the shifts that have been made in the course of the translation process. Key words intelligence, life, extraterrestrial, alien, universe, culture, technology, civilization, SETI, anthropomorphism, translation, source text, text analysis, translation method, shift
