Proposal for Improvement of Services in the Wellness Centre Infinit Maximus

The master thesis deals with the issue of enhancing the quality of providing services in the wellness centre Infinit Maximus. Nowadays the wellness centre provides high quality of services to their clients. However there are some areas that should be improved and that are described in the thesis. During the processing of the thesis I delt with factual economic, operating and technical figures connected to the latest economic activity of the wellness centre. The proposal part includes some suggestions for elimination high deviations of occupancy and some suggestions for reduction the high fluctuation of employees. Instead of the main topic I also suggest some other improvements.

Media education in Prague high schools from the perspective of students and teachers

The aim of this master's thesis was to inquire into media education in Prague's high schools using the qualitative methods from the point of view of its two main participants - students and teachers. The main reason for focusing on these students was that they achieved the highest scores in media literacy among their peers from Czechia. For the purpose of the analysis, data were collected using in-depth semi-structured interviews with teachers from Prague's high schools, a focus group with second-year students from Gymnázium Na Zatlance, and an online questionnaire that was completed by 55 students from several high schools in Prague. The data were subsequently analyzed using the open coding method and thematic analysis. The results indicate that despite being classified as cross cutting topic in the Framework Education Programme by the Ministry of Education, more than half of the respondents reported receiving no media education. Furthermore, the results reveal that inclusion of media education in lectures depends mainly on the teachers and their personal motivation to incorporate it. Perception of the TikTok platform by children born between 2003-2006

This bachelor's thesis deals with the social network TikTok and its perception by children born between 2003 and 2006, specifically what role TikTok plays in their lives, how they use it and their content preferences on this platform. The theoretical part describes the TikTok platform, its origin, development, typical users and algorithm. It also defines psychological profile of adolescents and describes their behavior on social networks. In the practical part, a qualitative research was conducted in a form of interviews, which found out how respondents perceive TikTok and how they use it. The respondents were active users of this social network. Finally, the results are being discused, which is followed by a description of how to successfuly target advertisement on TikTok on researched age group based on the results of the survey.

The New Role of Public Academic Institutions in Civil Society and Adult Education

This diploma thesis is focusing on finding a new way of building a relationship between citizens and public academic institutions through the work of adult educators. It analyzes communication channels of academic institutions used for communication with the public and suggests new ones, based on the principles of knowledge mobilization theory. It draws how to bring elements of active civic participation into Czech society and this is based on deliberative concepts of democracy and principles of social critical theory. Attention is paid to the specification of the role of adult educator as a mediator of communication between civil society and the institution. Revision of Reporting Insurance Events in the Company ING Životní Pojišťovna N.V.

The aim of my thesis is to clarify several processes in the settlement of claims in ING Life Insurance NV, Czech Republic branch, the analysis of the current situation of reporting claims, processing, analysis, presenting some recommendations for improvement of the current situation. Another goal of my diploma thesis is to present the project eLikvidace (eClaims), which helped to simplify the reporting claims and evaluating the benefits of the project. The work is divided into three main chapters. The first is theoretical and the two others are more practical. The contribution of this thesis is the claryficitaion of the processes regarding the reporting of claims, the presentation of the project and evaluation of its benefits for the company and for the clients.
