Obfuscation of Anomalies and Security Incidents in DNS Traffic
Štěrba, Ondřej ; Kováčik, Michal (referee) ; Homoliak, Ivan (advisor)
The work analyze current detection methods of anomalies and security incidents in DNS traffic, and than design new obfuscation techniques which are capable of evading anomaly detection. Network attacks, exploiting the DNS protocol for tunneling of other network traffic, were selected for implementation part of the work. Control of botnet is considered as malicious application of tunneling through the DNS protocol. The main result of the work is to emphasize the necessity of discovering new detection principles of anomalies and security incidents in DNS traffic.
Draughts Playing Robot
Štěrba, Ondřej ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This thesis describes playing draughts game by 6 axis manipulator Lynxmotion AL5D controlled by ARM Cortex M3 MCU. It involves algorithms for image recognition, artificial intelligence and algorithms for controlling 6 axis manipulator in real-time.
User Interface for Mobile Interpreter
Štěrba, Ondřej ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The objective of the bachelor thesis is development, implementation and testing of graphical user interface (GUI) for Mobile translator application. Interface problem is focused to Android mobile platform. First part explains terms as UI, deal with the current solutions and GUI development. Thesis continues with development of two interfaces. The last section contains evaluation of testing, and changes suggestion. Purpose of thesis is to prove the effect of GUI to application principle.
Production of the car gearbox using Fused Deposition Modeling method
Štěrba, Ondřej ; Nejedlý, Jindřich (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this work is creating a virval model of the car gearbox . The gearbox from the car Skoda Felicia was used to create the individusl parts into a final assembly. Construction of the assembly model and the layout have been implemented inAutodesk Inventor, which is a software CAx application. Final production was performed by Rapid Prototyping Technology, using the Fused Deposition Modeling equipment uPrint from ABSplus material for the purpose of visualization. The final verification was assemblin single patrs of the gearbox, including ensurance its functionality.
Omnidirectional mobile robot
Štěrba, Ondřej ; Baránek, Radek (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes controlling of omnidirectional chassis based on omnidirectional (‚swedish“) wheels especially controlling angular velocities for each wheel to achieve desired speed and desired direction. As next describes detecting obstacles by additional sensors.
Manufacture of 3D Printed Microfluidic Channels and Their Characterization by Impedance Spectroscopy and Optical Microscopy Measurements
Štěrba, O. ; Vaněčková, Eva ; Choińska-Mlynarczyk, Marta ; Navrátil, Tomáš ; Kolivoška, Viliam
Fused deposition modeling 3D printing employing high-resolution extrusion nozzles and specialized manufacturing protocols have recently attracted attention as an inexpensive tool to create microfluidic devices. In this work, we have applied such an approach to create measurement cells with integrated microchannels of systematically varied dimensions. The real width of channels was inspected by two techniques, namely (A) impedance spectroscopy employing an aqueous sensing electrolyte and (B) optical microscopic imaging of silicone imprints hardened in the interior of printed structures. Both techniques have demonstrated that fused deposition modeling 3D printing enables precise manufacturing of channels with truly microfluidic dimensions.
