Examination of professional characteristics of workers of social and legal protection of children The diploma thesis is devoted to the examination of professional characteristics of social and legal protection of children. The theoretical part deals with areas related to the chosen focus. In particular, these are questions concerning the general concept of personality, which represents the summary, connection or interconnection of character, temperament, abilities and constitutional characteristics of a person. An important chapter is also a theoretical description of the basis of the used standardized questionnaire survey, focused on the area and diagnostics of professional characteristics crucial for success in employment. The last topic deals with the issue of social and legal protection of children, the definition of an endangered child and the personal and professional preconditions of a social worker. The practical part consists of the results obtained by the BIP-Bochum personality questionnaire (Hossiep, Paschen, 2011). Marketing tactics and its application in the management of elementary art school

The diploma thesis deals with the application of marketing tactics, that is, in the form of a marketing mix in school management. It is based on theoretical knowledge in the field of marketing. Marketing tactics use elements of the marketing mix and these elements help the managers of the organization in compiling the offer so that the offer addresses the customers and satisfies their needs. The aim of the diploma thesis is based on the analysis of the current state of marketing management with a focus on elements of the marketing mix of the selected elementary art school to propose recommendations for innovation and especially through marketing communication tools to improve communication flows in relation to current and potential school clients, and thus increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of the school. The subject of the research part of the work is the analysis of the current state from the point of view of individual elements of the marketing mix. Talent management in secondary education in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the topic of talent management in relation to teaching staff in second- ary education in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to describe its current state and to find out how talented teachers are cared for in Czech secondary schools and how princi- pals perceive talented teachers and talent management. The thesis defines and puts into context the concepts of teaching staff, teacher stand- ard, talented teacher, talent and giftedness as well as talent management. A newly developed definition of a talented educator is also included. The specifics description of the Czech schools' environment for the talent management implementation in terms of individual pro- cesses is followed by a questionnaire survey. The research results are linked to the context of Czech education and compared with the results of previous investigations of talent man- agement in Czech organisations. The care of Czech teachers is very specific from the talent management perspective. The teaching profession is demanding and Czechia lacks a functional career system and a generally accepted teacher standard. The aim of this thesis is to analyze strategic and other documents and data that are focused on distance learning in primary schools. The aim is also to describe how distance teaching took place in primary schools using digital technologies and to point out its specifics, including positives and negatives. Strategic and other documents are the basis for determining the readiness of teachers and schools for the transition to distance learning. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools were closed and it was necessary to move to distance learning, which was online. The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of further education of academic staff of universities with social sciences and humanities. The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a project proposal for further education in the field of pedagogical and presentation skills for academic staff of selected humanities universities. The second partial aim is to describe the current system and legislation of higher education in the Czech Republic. Distance learning and the use of digital technologies in education

This thesis focuses on the effect of the covid-19 pandemic on education at a selected primary school from the point of view of teachers during the first and second wave. It focuses on defining the concepts such as distance learning, e-learning, digital technologies and platforms. The work reflects how the Czech education system was affected from March 2020 to May 2021. The theoretical part focuses on the theoretical conception of terms that are associated with the pandemic and distance learning, but also with the concept of socialization and communication, which were greatly affected during the pandemic, especially when it comes to children. The research part was then carried out with the help of a semi-structured interview, which was conducted at a selected primary school in groups with four teachers. One of the most fundamental questions of the whole interview was the greatness of the pandemic`s effect on the pupils and the teachers of this particular primary school. Marketing tactics of a selected language school

This diploma thesis investigates the marketing tactics of a selected language school while focusing on all elements of the marketing mix and their practical application. It identifies the key areas for its prosperity and future development based on selected qualitative research methods, such as analysis of the school's marketing activity and structured interview with its management and internal staff. It involves a partial comparison with the competitor educational institutions of a similar field of interest and besides its strengths and competitive advantages it also reveals its drawbacks using the SWOT analysis in terms of which it suggests recommendations for innovations. The theoretical part deals with the general issue of marketing and content of the marketing strategy while highlighting the importance of strategic planning of marketing goals as well as effective strategic marketing management.
