Behavioural selection criteria for Czech police puppies to assess their chances of certification.
Hradecká, Lenka ; Bartoš, Luděk (advisor) ; Martin, Martin (referee)
The project based on behavioural tests of 7 week old German Shepherd puppies performed in police kennel in Prackovice nad Labem and Domažlice. The project focused on verification of the usability and improvement of the selection of puppies using behavioural test. We tested the possibility of environmental effect (presence of shooting range near the kennel Domažlice) on the later success of puppies in the behavioural test. The aim of the project was collecting additional data which were use to improve and verify procedure for early selection of puppies. We checked the possibility of habituation breeding females and their puppies to noise, including monitoring of the different environments in the kennels in. It was found that different results are affected by of their mothers. This means that puppies raised by mothers from the police kennel near shooting range are better evaluated later in the disciplines of evaluating response to noise compared with pups from mothers of police kennel without shooting range. Worse response to noise had pups from litters with a higher number of pups. Reviews summarizing the literature on heritability of behavioural traits in dogs have been published repeatedly over the last four decades. The conclusions of these reviews vary to some extent. We applied meta-analysis and re-evaluated the literature available collecting 47 references dealing with heritability of behavioural traits in domestic dogs. For each study included, data was extracted for individual behavioural traits. Each of these traits was entered into the analysis as a separate unit of measure, giving a total of 1761 measures. We classified the traits measured in each study into five functional categories (Environment, Herding, Hunting, Play, and Psychical characteristic). The metaanalysis has shown low general heritability of the categorised behavioural traits analysed. Thus, the commonly used behaviour tests for many breeds, to determine the dog's eligibility for reproducing, traditionally required by many associations, is not supported by the present results of the meta-analysis.
Analyze of the selection tests in dogs
Kadlecová, Irena ; Chaloupková, Helena (advisor) ; Hradecká, Lenka (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to assess and analyse the value of the character test in general, both in the Czech Republic and Sweden. Their quality to reveal the real personality, emotional stability, fear reactivity and aggressive reactions. Czech character test is required as a condition for breeding for both Belgian and Australian shepherds by the Belgian Shepherd Club of Czech Republic. The aim of the analysis is to measure the differences between the tasks and the results of the Czech character test and highly-developed Swedish Mental test that reveals the character in a more complex way and is generally more demanding also from time management side. Furthermore the analysis explores the possible relation between the results of the character tests and trial performance in dogs undergoing this research. The testing ran in three terms, while both tests were conducted in a single day for each participant. The target group were owners of Belgian and Australian shepherds with dogs between 1 to 4 years old. The total number of tested dogs is 17. The Swedish test proved higher connectivity of the tasks (high correlations) as wells as higher results variability between tested animals as opposite of the Czech test. The results of this pilot project study did not show any connection between the high score in the test and higher probability of passing the working exam, although this result can be influenced by low number of animals tested and their lower age. This study works as pilot applied research to increase the effectivity and simplify the testing of working dogs, however, it is essential for next stages of research to focus on concrete parts of the test and their connectivity to the dog behaviour in a given situation.
Consumer Behavior When Buying Local Food
Hradecká, Lenka ; Šánová, Petra (advisor) ; Benešová, Irena (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to identify the main consumer purchasing preferences of regional foods in the region Capital City of Prague and Central Bohemia. Methodology of the theoretical background is primarily in analysis, synthesis and compilation of secondary data from the available literature, legislation, information SZIF, MZe ČR, ČSÚ and the other relevant institutions. The methodology own work is based on a questionnaire survey using personal interviews. A questionnaire survey was conducted from October to November 2015 in Prague and Central Bohemia. The investigation showed that the two regions are not significant differences. Consumers in the purchase of local foods behave in the Central Bohemia approximately the same as in Prague.
Microrheology in colloid systems
Hradecká, Lucie ; Burgert, Ladislav (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on the evaluation of the influence of particle surface properties on the results of microrheological measurements with biopolymer solutions. Hyaluronan has been chosen as negatively charged polymer, chitosan as positively charged polymer and glycerol and its solutions of various concentrations were used as homogenous model systems. Dynamic light scattering and single particle tracking microrheology were chosen from passive microrheological techniques. Particles with various surface modifications (neutral, positive surface charge and negative surface charge) were used for the experiments. The results of microrheological techniques were then compared with classic rheology and moreover the glycerol results were compared with tabulated values.
The Optimizing of the Process in the Quality Control - ISO 9001
Hýblerová, Michaela ; Hradecká, Lenka (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
In my master´s thesis I am dealing with process approach as one of the basic principles resulting from management according to ISO 9001. Introductory theoretical part pays attention to basic thesis resulting from ISO 9001. In practical part I analyze processes, system of continual improvement and I show economical drop of the International Standard implementation. In the last part I mention the proposals to optimize the process approach.

This thesis presents simulation method and simulation software Witness as a decision management instrument of a company, applied in STEKO spol. s r.o. The goal of this thesis is to create a model of real business process in the simulation program and following optimalization.
Influence of particle properties on microrheological measurements of biopolymer solutions
Hradecká, Lucie ; Venerová, Tereza (referee) ; Hnyluchová, Zuzana (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis is focused on the evaluation of particle influence on microrheological measurements of biopolymer solutions. Hyaluronic acid was the biopolymer and glycerol solutions of different concentration were chosen as model system. Polystyrene particles of different diameters (0,5 m, 1 m a 2 m) were used for the measurements. Results of passive microrheology were compared with classic rheology and with tabulated values in case of glycerol.
Internal communication in the Holding PNS
Hradecká, Lucie ; Dvořáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Kleibl, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is devoted to internal communications in the holding company PNS. The theoretical part is focused on explaining concepts: communication, internal communication and its tools, methods and barriers. The practical part is focused on the holding PNS and through an anonymous survey analyzes the internal communication and employee views on methods of communication. Based on the results obtained from the survey then evaluate the use of communication tools, efficiency of communication tools and employee satisfaction. The conclusion summarizes the results and proposed some recommendations that could lead to improving the current level of internal communication in the company.
Microbiostratgraphical research of the Upper Cretaceous sediments of the Gosau Formation in the Northern Calcareous Alps, Austria
Hradecká, L. ; Svobodová, Marcela ; Švábenická, L.
Isolated outcrops of the sediments of the Lower (middle Turonian-Campanian)and Upper Gosau Subgroup were biostratigraphically evaluated on the base of the presence of foraminifers, calcareous nannoplankton and palynomorphs. The oldiest sediments corresponds to Middle Turonian (Eisenbach, Weissenbachalm), upper Coniacian was found in the Finstergraben, Weissenbachalm, upper Coniacian to Santonian in the Finstergraben, Hofergraben, Schattau, Nussensee, Weisenbachalm, Campanian age in the Hühnerkogel, Mooshuben aj., Maastrichtian in the Krampen, Grünbach-Neue Welt and the youngest sedeiments of the Paleocene age in Mooshuben and Grünbach-Zweiersdorf.
