Data Mining in Data Stream
Sýkora, Petr ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the data mining in data stream which represents fast developing area of information technology. The text describes common principles of data mining, explains what data stream is and shows methods for its preprocessing and algorithms for following data mining. The special attention is given to the VFDT and the CVDT algorithm. The next mentioned are the spatiotemporal data and related data mining. The second part describes the design and implementation of the application for classification over spatiotemporal data stream represented by road traffic data and following prediction of spatiotemporal events (traffic-jams). The classification is performed by the VFDT and CVFDT algorithm. The application has been tested on the data set obtained by the simulation tool SUMO.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to analyze application of information systems in property management and then design and implement such system. Special attention was given to users roles, their permissions and security. The part of implemented system was also multilanguage user interface and export to PDF format.
Design of controlled nozzle for high pressure RIM head
Sýkora, Petr ; Suchý, Jan (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of mixing nozzle regulation for high-pressure mixing machine for production of polyurethane products. The aim of this work is to design the construction of controlled mixing nozzle for mixing head Cannon while keeping interchangeability with the current nozzle. I solved the chosen goal by constructing a nozzle controlled with the same build dimensions by a stepper motor. Control is ensured by throttling the flow by turning the nozzle screw through the motor. We managed to create a functional prototype and create a table to convert the existing nozzle diameters to the rotation of the engine. The main benefit of this work is the creation of an automatically regulated nozzle required for fully automated machine operation.
Design of single-purpose machine for machining polyurethane castings
Sýkora, Petr ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a single-purpose machine for machining steering wheel lever from PUR. The problem with the current state was the need of manpower for machine a large number of levers. The automated machining process eliminates the problem. The result of the work is a detailed 3D model of a single-purpose machine created in the Onshape program, drawing documentation of several parts of the equipment, economic evaluation and risk analysis of the machine. The conclusion of the thesis contains an evaluation of the whole project.

Baroque domes and the St. Francis of Assissi Church in Prague
Sýkora, Petr ; Oulíková, Petra (advisor) ; Pučalík, Marek (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the St. Francis of Assissi Church in the Old Town of Prague as a building with the first true dome on a drum, constructed by Jean Baptiste Mathey who was originally a painter. Thanks to him Prague got a building that is architecturally as significant as Rome's St. Peter's Basilica. The thesis also researches the attempts to emulate Roman architecture. Architects active in Bohemia had been trying to construct a dome over the nave from the beginning of the 17th century. However, they only accomplished a true dome with the arrival of Mathey. Even Carlo Lurago, who was the best-known architect of the time, didn't succeed to place a dome over the nave, although he tried it on many buildings. Giovanni Domenico Orsi, on the other hand, managed to include a dome-like shape in his buildings, but many of his projects didn't survive to this day or remained on paper. Besides the St. Francis Church itself, this thesis also deals with Roman inspirations. The construction of this church wouldn't have been possible if Mathey hadn't brought with him from Rome the latest knowledge about Roman architecture and buildings being constructed back then. He was undoubtedly influenced by Carlo Rainaldi and other outstanding Roman architects who were active at that time.
Compressible fluid motion in time dependent domains
Sýkora, Petr ; Feireisl, Eduard (advisor) ; Pokorný, Milan (referee)
In this work we study the existence of weak solutions for compressible Navier-Stokes equations in unbounded time dependent domains. Using the methods introduced in Feireisl E. Dynamics of Viscous Compressible Fluids we extend the results of article Feireisl E. Neustupa J. Stebel J., Convergence of a Brinkman-type penalization for compressible fluid flows, which studies the flow with a "no-slip" boundary condition on bounded domains. Next, we extend results of article Feireisl E. Kreml O. Nečasová Š. Neustupa J. Stebel J., Weak solutions to the barotropic Navier- Stokes system with slip boundary conditions in time dependent domains, which studies flow with compete Navier boundary condition. Finally, we discuss solutions for rotating fluid system. In this case, there are new members in momentum equation, representing the Coriolis and centrifugal force, which cause problems.
The life and works of J.S. Machar between 1914-1942
Ways of upper secondary school students to study physics at university - view of their physics teachers
Sýkora, Petr ; Žák, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Mandíková, Dana (referee)
The main purpose of this diploma thesis is to obtain information on how Matfyz can improve its cooperation with high school students and their physics teachers to increase students' interest in physics. To obtain these information a questionnaire was sent to physics teachers, who had been mentioned by Matfyz students as teachers who had had a positive effect on them. The questionnaire itself consists of four parts - events for students, events for physics teachers, Mat- fyz activities, and teaching. The data was processed using both quantitative and qualitative methods, whereas larger part of research was build on quantitative methods. The collected data showed that according to respondents the most im- portant task is to focus on non-Prague students. Thus, organizers should organize events in various places in the Czech Republic or use modern technologies and organize events on-line (that also applies to events for physics teachers). High school students might also meet with scientists and university physics students, visit laboratories except for visitors' days (e. g. during excursions, internships) or have an opportunity to find out how physics in companies is used. Respondents expressed support for writing a new physics textbook on Matfyz, one containing more difficult parts for talented students.
