Oblast problémů, ze kterých konkrétní téma projektu vychází, zahrnuje současnou globální transformaci zdrojů energie a jejich dodávek se zvláštní pozorností na obnovitelné zdroje energie. Důraz je kladen zejména na hodnoty jež přináší produkt určený k užívání ve veřejných prostorách. Autorovým zadáním bylo navrhnout osvětlovací jednotku nezávislou na vnějším zdroji napájení. Cílem návrhu je přehodnotit způsob, jakým jsou dnes technologie využívání sluneční a větrné energie běžně používány, a navrhnout řešení přinášející nové vlastnosti a užitné hodnoty pro přímého uživatele i celou společnost. Autor přináší návrh produktu jenž je reakcí na současné globální hrozby a příležitosti. Výsledkem projektu je návrh pouliční lampy kombinující fotovoltaický článek a větrnou turbínu s cílem získat elektrickou energii jež je dočasně akumulována a následně dodávána svítidlu. V návrhu je kladen důraz na požadavky ergonomie a estetickou hodnotu produktu. Navržené řešení znamená finanční přínos z hlediska šetření neobnovitelnými zdroji energie a případnými finančními výhodami pro investora plynoucími z provozování veřejného osvětlení. Pouliční lampa nezávislá na vnějším zdroji napájení má navíc menší negativní dopad na životní prostředí a představuje technologie využívání větrné a solární energie v přívětivé a nerušivé podobě.

Processing completely producting technological documentation for production part “INJECTOR COVER” for firm BM SERVICE (formerly ČKD Hradec Králové), including time schedule production of parts (parts which past welding and machining create demanded component part) and calculation production costs. Solving production process is concepted in two variation (actual and forecast study) for machines which are sorted from existing machinery and from now proposed machines. Estimation is designed for firm conditions introducing to the production with view for qualifications of workers, convention in firm and equipment.

Major dietary mistakes in patients with primary aldosteronism and essential hypertension

Abstact Arterial hypertension is one of the most serious risk factors for cardiovascular complications in the form of stroke, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, and other manifestations of atherosclerosis. Damage caused by the disease increases over time due to asymptomatic course and interaction with other risk factors, especially dyslipidemia, insulin resistance, smoking habits, or obesity. These combinations of risk factors, together with hypertension, further multiply the overall cardiovascular risk of sufferers. Although arterial hypertension is influenced by pharmacological treatment and lifestyle modification, its high prevalence represents a serious health problem in both the Czech Republic and in other developed countries. This bachelor thesis aims to evaluate the eating habits of patients with essential hypertension, a multifactorial form of the disease without a specific causing cause, and of hypertonics with primary aldosteronism, which arises on the basis of autonomous overproduction of aldosterone. Although this form of disease has a specifically treatable cause, its course and organ complications are often more serious than those of essential hypertension. Of ants and men. Myrmecological inspirations of anthropology in the work of V. J. A. Novák (1919-1997)

The work presents life and work of Vladimir Jan Amos Novak, it shows his main thoughts unified by the principle of sociogenesis and points at its inspiration in older traditions of german and russian biology. It also concerns his anthropology as related to the principle of sociogenesis and shows some peculiar Novak's contributions, mainly his opinions on progessive neotenization of man and evolutionary tedency for association. It grasps the principle of sociogenesis as a biological and also a political concept and therefore shows its very political consequences presented mainly on his social thoughts. The work also deals with the relations between eastern and western science on Novák's efforts to unify all sciences under one universal evolutionary framework regardless its geographical belonging. Throughout the work is Novak shown in the context of man-animal relations and the principle of sociogenesis as arising from myrmecological studies. There are therefore presented anthropological works of three important myrmecologists A. Forel, W.M. Wheeler and E.O. Wilson as inspired in the study of ants.

Conservation of glass mosaics in epoxy bedding

The procedure focuses on the conservation of glass mosaics from the second half of the 20th century, which were embedded into epoxy resin as part of the original technology. The advantage was to create light, easily transportable structures (panels). Various materials were used for the base of these panels, such as steel reinforcement, aluminium plates, but also chipboard plates. Over time, the epoxy bedding proved to be unstable, especially in outdoor conditions, where it often degraded or completely disintegrated. It was therefore necessary to consider replacing the original bedding material with a new one. The replacement of the support is illustrated in the conservation of three mosaics, namely a glass mosaic with chipped tesserae, which is an example of an epoxy-coated mosaic with an embedded metal structure, and two mosaic of crumpled tesserae representing a mosaic glued with an epoxy resin to the chipboard. For both types of mosaics a brand new, more stable mosaic embedding system has been developed.

White collar revisited - Millsean theory on impact of bureaucratization on social and economic development of western societies

The first part of this thesis sums up ideas, which the author had published in his essays. These ideas are mostly focused on the relationship between the class structure of current western societies and economic policy preferred by the governments. The next part is dedicated to Charles Wright Mills, his sociological method, his contribution to sociology of 50th as well as his heritage for current sociological thinking. Three idea streams, which can be used for supplementing Mills' point of view, are explained: public choice economy (mainly its version of Gordon Tullock), new class theory and theory of business innovation. New typology of business innovation is developed in this part. The core of this thesis consist in discussion of Mills' propositions about the growth of bureaucratic organizations, birth of white collars as a massive social class and its impact on social structure, economic development and political development of western societies. Mills conclusions are looked on in the light of socioeconomic development during 60 years since the first publishing of White collar. They are also compared with key finding of idea streams mentioned above. Social applications of myrmecology between Aldrovandi and Wilson

The following dissertation presents the history of myrmecology from the times of Ulisse Aldrovandi up to the works of Edward O. Wilson in the 20th century. The oldest mentions of ants in the Antiquity and the Middle Ages are also partially elaborated upon. A special emphasis is given to the general idea about ants as developed by each of the authors, as well as to the mapping out of the contemporary ideas about social insect. This work points out that the portrait of the ant has always been related to the contemporary conception of human society and humanity as such. Throughout its history, myrmecology has always been strongly influenced by anthropomorphism, as the picture of the ant would be derived from the social order, political system and the general opinion on what constitutes human nature. On the other hand, though, myrmecology has also helped to shape the picture of humanity, because the conclusions drawn from myrmecological studies were applied to humans. Therefore, entomology started to influence anthropology and vice versa. In the Antiquity, ants were viewed basically as farmers; only harvester ants were known, they were seen as working on a field, going to the marketplace or holding celebratory festivals. Methodology of social sciences in the concept of Karl R. Popper

Thesis "Methodology of social sciences in the concept of Karl R. Popper" deals with methodological aspects of Popper's work and their practical applicability which is tested on three specific sociological theories. The first part focuses on the description of principles of Popper's method. The author presents the criteria to distinguish between scientific theories and metaphysical narratives that can be applied on theories in social science. The main aim is a description of "Popper razors" that are two sets of criteria that allow defining the demarcation line between scientific theories and metaphysical narratives, and determine the demarcation line between metaphysical theory and inconsistent observations and feelings. In the second part uses the "Popper's razor" on the theory of exceeded limits of Denise Meadow , theory of the capitalist revolution of Peter L. Berger and theory of risk society of Ulrich Beck. It concludes both Popper's razors are sufficient discriminatory determinants.
