Design and implementation of a CANopen communication unit
Řehák, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the design and implementation of an industrial communicator for synchronization and control of electrical drive controllers with the interface of RS232 or CANopen. Hardware of communicator uses the EMX development system by GHI Electronics. Communicator software is implemented in C# by the .NET Micro Framework. Communicator allows user to adjust and control up to four electric motor drives. After a successful connection with each unit, communicator can control its position, which specify the number of revolutions to the nearest thousandth of a turn. Communicator also periodically finds out and displays the current position of the connected units. User operates the communicator with GUI, application instructions are entered via the touch screen or buttons.
Invaluable Library Services
Řehák, Tomáš ; Souček, Martin (advisor) ; Ivánek, Jiří (referee) ; Šušol, Jaroslav (referee)
The paper deals with the issue of valuation and calculation of efficiency of public library services. In the introduction the paper explains the motivation for the research undertaken. The first (theoretical) chapter places the whole issue in the general economic and legislative framework, in particular relating libraries to the concept of public goods and describing different approaches to determining their value. It explains the concepts of efficiency and return on investment (ROI). It describes specific approaches to measuring the efficiency of libraries as a whole, with particular attention to the contingent valuation method and its development. It describes in detail several studies that the author considers to be of particular methodological value. The chapter concludes with information and descriptions of two key ISO standards that are directly related to the issue. Chapter 2 describes research on the efficiency of the library as a whole (referred to as ROI 1.0) conducted in 2012 at the Municipal Library in Prague (MKP) and verified in three other cities. Chapter 3 captures the effort to determine the effectiveness of one selected service (ROI 2.0), namely lending services (i.e. circulations of library items). It describes the chosen taxonomy of individual library services and the basic...

Title: Analysis of training program in the Czech snowboardcross representation Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to describe an annual training cycle of the Czech snowboardcross representation. Sub-objective is to analyze the individual periods of characteristic sport's preparation. Methods: In our work we used the method of involved observation, analysis, survey, interview with the instructions and informal interview. During the observation of competitor's behavior in their training units we used the method of involved observation. In the parsing of each training cycle we applicated the method of analysis. To supplement the data and to clarify the interpretation obtained by involved observation we used the method of the survey and informal interview. Results: We've found, that trainers and implamation team use for divide snowboardcross praparation nine parts of specific period. In a "dry", summer praparation they focused on developing of all physical abilities and during the preparation on snow, they focus on specific skills training, which is needed to show the maximum performance, technical and psychological praperation.
