2004 and 2009 European Parliament Elections in the Czech Republic and their Impact on the Party System

This diploma thesis comparatively analyses elections to the European Parliament held in 2004 and 2009 in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the main features of these elections with the aim of finding their main similarities and differences. For this purpose the framework of the classic "second order elections" concept is used which was introduced by Karlheinz Reif and Hermann Schmitt. The introductory part summarizes the main aspects of the "second order elections" concept. What follows is the examination of development of the electoral system for the elections to the European parliament. Crucial features of the electoral system used in the Czech Republic are explored in detail. The main part of the thesis concentrates on the analysis of elections to the European Parliament held in the Czech Republic in 2004 and 2009. These elections are put into context of domestic political situation. Additionally, party lists and election manifestos are examined, as well as the most important facets of election campaigns of relevant political parties. Necessary attention is also paid to the analysis of election results and to their implications for the political and party system. Finally, in the closing chapter both elections are compared using the "second order elections" concept.

The main goal of my diploma thesis is to determine a market value of the company T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. The thesis is divided into the following parts: strategic analysis, financial analysis, value divers, financial plan and final valuation. Partial tasks are being solved in the individual parts of the paper, which are the following: determination of relevant market and analysis of its future development, evaluation of the company's financial health, elaboration of its financial plan and final business valuation.

Biblical Images of the God's Liberating Love in the Acts of Man

AbstraktAbstraktAbstraktAbstrakt The Diploma thesis "Biblical Images of the God's Liberating Love in the Acts of Man" first reflects God's liberating love as a biblical theme in general (Introduction), then it proceeds to dealing with liberating action of God's love in biblical texts about five characters of Old Testament: Rebecca, Juda, Boaz, Jonathan and Abigail. Thesis contains one chapter devoted to each of these characters. Every character is briefly introduced first, selected texts are then subjected to an exegetic inquiry, which includes literal, contextual and philological analysis. The main part of every chapter follows, in which primary and biblical meaning of respective texts is discussed in regard to given character and to the theme of the thesis. God acts through particular people and His love for man manifests itself in particular acts of those who have been chosen for His plan. The thesis aims at showing the relevancy and merit of reading of Old Testament texts from the perspective considering the liberating God's love as a theme. Cross-border transformations of commercial companies

This thesis discusses a method of implementation of the freedom of company establishment in the form of cross-border transformations after the amendment of the Transformation Act, which came into force on 1 January 2012. This right which a company is guaranteed is analyzed in the context of relevant CJEU case law. This thesis follows the structure of the Act. The first part deals with general issues of cross-border transformations and is followed by a chapter on the types of cross-border transformations. The final part of this thesis is devoted to a discussion about the possible kinds of economic movation for the tranformations. The goal is to analyze the possibilities of cross-border transformations and to assess their historical development with respect to both major CJEU decisions and legislative activities of the EU and the Czech Republic.

This bachelor thesis is about the issue of financial assets in a bank accounting under International Financial Reporting Standards. At first, the thesis listed standards which content is connected with financial assets. The main goal of this thesis is to confirm/refute three hypotheses. The first hypothesis examine the share of loans & receivables to total assets of the bank. The second hypothesis analyze the evolution of loans & receivables yield. The last hypothesis compare the trend of real GDP with the quality of the loan portfolio. Following research confirmed two hypotheses.

The Negative Consequences of Consumer Contests as a Sales Promotion Tool

This bachelor's thesis deals with risks and negative consequences of consumer contests as a sales promotion tool. It is divided into two main parts: theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of general relevant information associated with this issue. The practical part loosely follows with using specific examples of unsuccesful contests. The aforementioned parts help to create a coherent set of risks, which the organizator as well as the consumer may face. In context with these defined risks and specific examples the negative consequences as possible unfavorable impacts are subsequently determined.

Primary care nurses experience with wound treatment

In this work study ``Experiences of nurses of primary care with wounds healing{\crqq} there are two main relevant questions {--} primary care of patients and wounds healing. Process of wounds healing has been for many years in significant attention of some medical branches. According to this interest many useful studies, discoveries and researches have been done. Wounds healing is not according to only affected locality, but also to the whole organism, immune system, metabolism, nourishment and many other aspects referential to this question. Patients with wounds can have more comfortable health care due to interests for tissue defects. However lots of experts try to implement new methods of wounds healing, majority of clients meet still the out of date therapies. Some kinds of primary health care have been used for a long time, other ones used to be used a long time ago and now are again renovating. All providers of primary health care are under capacity, financial and legislative pressure and so are not able to provide this health care in full extent. The aim of this study was to find ``Experiences of nurses of primary care with different materials for wounds healing{\crqq}. For this aim the hypothesis ``Nurses of primary care have not enough experiences with modern methods of wounds healing{\crqq} was settled. The second aim was ``To discover the interests of nurses of primary care for new experiences of wounds healing{\crqq}. This aim was encouraged by hypothesis ``Nurses have interests about new experiences of wounds healing{\crqq}. The information needed for this research were taken by questionnaires given to nurses working by general practitioners in České Budějovice and Benešov. Answers of 50 nurses were used for data processing. The hypothesis that nurses do not have enough experiences with wounds healing was confirmed. The second hypothesis was also confirmed. My work study could be useful for nurses of primary health care as summary of actual situation and so could improve the health care for clients.

VAT fraud elimination

This dissertation is about problems of tax evasion on VAT. The aim is to confirm hypothesis that subjects which are committing fraud on VAT have many of the identical characteristics. Another goal is to determine this identical characteristics. The theoretical part of this dissertation contains introduction into VAT problematic with emphasis on carousel fraud, where are presented individual parts of carousel chain and approaches which administrators of tax are using. In Analytical part of dissertation, which form a basis of this work, are analysed data from 50 real tax control. This data are analysed and searched for identical characteristics of VAT fraud. By using regression analysis is searched bond strength of this characteristics to amount of assessed tax. In conclusion are evaluated results from analytical part of this dissertation.
