Development of the school in the Louňovice pod Blaníkem in historical and regional context

The thesis "Development of the School in Louňovice pod Blaníkem in Historical-Regional Context" aims to map the emergence and evolution of the school in Louňovice pod Blaníkem against the backdrop of the region, examining the development and characteristics of the municipality within its own historical context. The political and educational context in relation to the educational laws of the studied period is also considered. The methods employed in this thesis include source analysis, inductive and deductive methods, and the project method. The historical section describes the regional, historical, and economic development of the municipality, as well as the establishment and evolution of the school throughout history.The practical part focuses on a demonstration of project-based teaching in the third year. The aim is to bring students closer to the history of the school and the township, allowing them to process acquired information through experiential learning. The outcome of the thesis is a summary of the historical development of the township and school in Louňovice pod Blaníkem, along with the implementation of the project "School: Past and Present." Judiciary, Advocacy and Notary in Strakonice 1850-1938

Supposed work on the theme Judicary, Advocacy and Notary in Strakonice 1850-1938 deal with development of legal rules and state administration since the days of birth of district courts` system until period of end of the first republic. Forementioned time period was selected intentionally on the basis of extant archive materials, which were necessary for elaboration of the subject. Concretely the work applies itself to description of workload of juridical profession, personal life of their representatives operating in Strakonice and eventually to their function in community. Law and order deputies played a important role not only in political but also in cultural and public life. Very often they acted in municipal government, in some cultural club and of course they performed their professions at the same time. So called provincial practice run at small town did not offer big or revolutionary cases, still it was interesting. Spectrum of adjudications and legal and notarial agenda provide insight to people{\crq}s manners and behaviour in a given period. Purpose of the work is to bring closer juridical history of the region I come from.
Hlučin Region in the Past

The main aim of this bachelor's thesis is to map the historical development of the area called Hlucin region with the help of available sources. The purpose of this work is to describe all the important historical periods of this territory from the 13th century to the present - starting with the Margraviate of Moravia and the Principality of Opava, through Prussia, the First Republic and the German Reich, ending with Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. The intention is also to clarify what the specifics of Hlucin region came from. Professional publications dealing directly with Hlucin region, or the region of Silesia to which it belongs, in a wider context, were used during the preparation of this work. In addition, materials from the Hlucin Museum were also used, as well as internet sources to capture recent or current facts and figures.
Ethnographic and Folcloric Aspects in the Work of Eastern Bohemian Teachers

This diploma thesis is focused on the generation of committed teachers, regional eastern Bohemia patriotic activists that were interested in ethnography and folklore studies on the amateur level. The first part of the thesis introduces four profession-associates of the same generation, teachers from the end of 19th and the beginning of 20th Century. Subsequent chapters deal with wider cultural-historical context with the emphasis on the history of pedagogy and ethnology. In the thesis there is also the development of homeland studies depicted. These studies were introduced as compulsory at the beginning of 20th Century and were therefore suitable for deepening of the educational role of the school via ethnographical materials. The main focus of the thesis is on the intersection of homeland education and ethnographic activities of mentioned teachers (cooperation with professionals, interest in collecting…) as well as the analysis of their importance to the professional ethnography.

The main body of the thesis examines its own history of the borough, the side lines represent the cultural history and the history of the village school in Byšice. All events are processed gradually in a chronological order. The role of various social groups in the history of the town is being examined, as well as the conversion of the urban village in the city. The Spaniel family in Jaroměř during the First World War

This bachelor work is about the study of everyday life in the Czech lands during the first world war. The work is centred on East Bohemian town Jaroměř and it analyse the war effects on population living in the Czech lands. The study is based on memories of jaroměř citizen Marie Španielová and chronicle of Václav Pácalt, jaroměř politician and artist. The main interests is concentrated on economy, general mobilization, temporary stay of prisoners of war, supply difficulties and general lack of basic commodities. National and Political Cleansing in Mohelnice 1945-1948. Expulsion - Tranfer - Retribution Jaromír Mrňka, Institute of Economic and Social History FF UK, 2011. Bachelor thesis 'National and Political Cleansing in Mohelnice 1945-1948. Expulsion - Transfer - Retribution' copes with theme WWII aftermath cleansing processes in town of Mohelnice in northern Moravia during the period of the so called Third Czechoslovakian Republic. In the context of long- term development of Czech-German relations in the region and other context of revolutionary changes in a structure of post-war society, thesis examines involvement of particular historical players during the period of the so called expulsion of Germans and wild retribution from May till July 1945, in the execution of the so called Great decree from July 1945 and in the organized phase of the transfer of German population in the region during the year 1946. Thesis studies motivations and changes of social status of defendants of the Great decree in the connection with their engagement in structures of the NSDAP.

Diploma Thesis Project teaching - Monuments and personalities in Uhříněves is a project that was created with the primary school pupils as an example of the possible use of regional history in teaching. The thesis contains theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is a summary of information from available literature. In this part of the thesis is closer introduced to the benefits and importance of regional history for history teaching in primary schools , along with anchoring regional history in the curriculum. There are also shown working methods, organizational forms and teaching aids, which the teacher can use in assigning regional history teaching. The practical part presents the project itself, its preparation, implementation and evaluation of the effectiveness of including the problems that occurred during the project, and the possibilities of how to avoid the problem. There are also outlined options for further use of the project. The thesis includes both text and image attachments that document the project.
