Legal aspects of software interoperability

This thesis addresses the legal aspects of software interoperability. Interoperability of software is achieved through an interface that is part of a computer program. The computer program is protected by copyright. The thesis deals with the scope of interface protection and the possibilities of access to unprotected interfaces. It measures the interests of the author in protecting the work against the public interests and proposes solutions that would be able to ensure a greater degree of interoperability or sharing the information necessary to ensure it.

Electronic Elections as a Phenomenon and Potential of 21st Century

The Master's thesis examines the phenomenon of electronic elections in the definition of an alternative method of remote voting via the Internet and combines the approach of a survey paper and a case study. The theoretical basis of the thesis is a description of the concept of e- democracy, postal voting and electronic elections, a definition of the typology of this alternative method and the accentuated risks, a summary of the general development of the debate in the Czech environment and an analysis of the process of the initial phase of implementation of electronic elections in the electoral systems of Estonia, Norway and Switzerland. The theoretical background is followed by an analytical section on these selected countries, which examines the characteristics of case-by-case approaches to the implementation and risks of e- elections and the potential impacts on selected indicators such as voter turnout and global state of democracy indices. The analysis of the aspects is conducted in a consecutive and separate categorical framework, whereby the issues are viewed from the specific perspectives of the countries in question, taking into account the differences in political systems. E-commerce Design for a Small Business Owner

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and creation of a low-cost e-commerce solution for a small business owner. The thesis includes, in addition to the theoretical background, the analysis of the entrepreneur's requirements and the resulting selection of a suitable e-commerce platform through a multi-criteria decision model. The thesis also includes a section with the design of the actual solution, where a detailed procedure for creating an e-shop on the Shoptet platform is presented.

The thesis focuses on the implementation of the SAP Business Network system for a specific company. The work is divided into three main parts: theoretical, analytical, and design. The theoretical part covers essential background information necessary for the development of the analytical and design sections. The analytical part includes a description of the company's environment, processes, and analysis. The design part comprises the rationale behind selecting the system, a proposal for the implementation process, and, finally, a financial evaluation.

Second part contains a description of Garrett Motion company, in which this project is executed, their aim, locations and a analysis of current state. The design part introduces a project aiming on process optimization within IT Project Portfolio with BIC Tool and implementation of activities related to support these processes.

Implementation proposal of the information system

This master's thesis deals with the selection and design of the implementation of an procurement information system for company X, which is involved in the production of carbon black. To understand the issue at hand, theoretical foundations are first introduced. Subsequently, the issue of the current state in the company is addressed using relevant analyses to identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Based on the acquired knowledge, a comparison is made, and another information system is selected. The thesis also includes a proposal for the possible course of its implementation.

The Master thesis deals with the possibility of implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) into the invoicing process of a public state office. The main objective of the thesis is to explore whether it is possible to automate the selected invoicing process using RPA technology and what are the potential benefits and limitations of such a step. It consists of three main parts: theoretical background, analysis of the current state, and the proposal of a solution.

Upgrading the Subsystem for Testing of the Safety Function of a Valve

The aim of this work is to develop a theoretical basis for the modernization of the subsystem for testing the valve function, the subsequent design and implementation of the visualization. The thesis briefly describes the steam turbine circulation and bypass technology. Thus, the technology of the system in which the safety function itself is located. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the functional safety analysis and describes the development of three analysis methods FTA, HAZOP and FMEA. The thesis also deals with the analysis and description of an existing application using a state diagram. From the subsequent analysis, the design of a new visualization is realized. The visualization is tested in the thesis using simulation which is performed on a real PLC and also using PLCSIM software.

The Project Proposal for the Implementation of an Information System for the Registration and Management of Contracts

The aim of this thesis is to create a project proposal for the implementation of an information system for registration and management of contracts in a small business that specializes in installing bath doors for people with reduced mobility. The thesis is developed using methods and procedures of project management. The thesis is divided into four parts; the first part introduces the objectives and methods of project management, the second part is dedicated to theoretical foundations, the third part presents the analyzed company and an analysis of the internal and external environment of the business, and the fourth part consists of the actual project proposal for the implementation of the information system and the overall benefits of the proposed solution.
