Hierarchical Techniques in Lighting Computation
Ligmajer, Jiří ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with description of hierarchical techniques in global lighting computation. Here is explaining the importance of hierarchical techniques in lighting computation and shows method, how to use these hierarchical techniques in realtime radiosity and its extension to dynamic area lighting. These two techniques are described in detail in the first part of this project. In the other part is desing and implementation of application for dynamic area lighting computation.
Causal analysis of control programs errors
Čapková, Hana ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
This Bachelor`s thesis concerns with the process of fault detection in software programs. It contains hierarchically organized typology of software errors, gained by research of available literature and analysis of events responsible for influencing the software errors evolution gathered into a typology of factors inspired by cognitive psychology. It contains also comparison of software evolution techniques and methodologies from the point of product validation and verification. The Bachelor`s thesis was written with respect to needs and requests of the commissioning company focusing on the Voice over IP (VoIP) software evolution. The thesis aims to suggest modifications of software errors database and error causes database.

Methods: The methodology was based on a test battery compiled to evaluate and compare the puck control level of players in the U9 category, encompassing a wide range of teams from the entire Czech Republic. The research relied on the quantitative analysis of results from 253 young hockey players who underwent a series of 17 tests aimed at progressively increasing the difficulty of puck control techniques. Each player was assessed individually under the same conditions, with success evaluated by a licensed expert with a coaching A- license. The data were analyzed using statistical tools to define the average level of skills achieved and compare them with international standards. Results: The study, which included 253 young hockey players from the U9 category, showed an average completion of 2.15 out of 11 puck control tests, revealing solid foundational skills...
Description of physical characteristics of the C1 forward stroke in selected elite canoe slalom athletes
Foukal, Pavel ; Bílý, Milan (advisor) ; Busta, Jan (referee)
Title: Description of physical characteristics of the C1 forward stroke in selected elite canoe slalom athletes Objectives: The aim of this study was to describe the physical characteristics of a forward stroke in C1 using strain gauge measurement among selected elite canoe slalom athletes during flatwater paddling, and to organize the obtained results into a clear format. Methods: We used a single-axis foil strain gauge attached to each tested person's paddle and an accelerometer (G-link 200) positioned at the front of the boat to obtain the data. Everything was connected to a data acquisition unit (V-link 200). We processed the data using the Sensor Connect software developed by Lord Microstrain. Results: We have been able to describe the basic physical characteristics of the forward stroke on the dominant and non-dominant side as well as the cross stroke. It turns out that a greater force applied in the stroke does not necessarily lead to a faster resultant time for a given segment. Similarly, a higher frequency of strokes does not automatically lead to faster and better times. Boat speed is not dominantly determined by any of the physical indicators of the stroke cycle studied, but is probably determined by a combination of them, related to other factors such as the shape of the boat, the...
Evaluation of body parameters and performance of women elite world hurdlers in the period 2003 - 2022
Dyrynková, Nikola ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Vostatková, Pavlína (referee)
Thema works: Evaluation of body parameters and performance of elite word-class female hurdlers in the period 2003 - 2022 Aims: The main objective of this study is to compare and evaluate the accumulated results of female finalists in the 100 m hurdles from 2003 to the present, covering a period of 20 years, followed by a comparison of performances in the Olympic Games and world Championships. A secondary objective is to record basic body parameters (height, body weight and Body Mass Index) of the finalists in individual global sporting events (Olympic Games and world Championships). Methodology: We focused on comparing and evaluating the accumulated data of female finalists in the 100m hurdles from 2003 to 2022 in the World Championships and Olympic Games. From each World Championship and Olympic Games, we selected the finalists of the 100 m hurdles (the fastest 8 athletes). We collected information on the WCH, OH, times, rankings, and anthropometric characteristics (height, body weight, and Body Mass Index). Furthermore, we processed the data based on basic statistical characteristics, particularly mean, standard deviations, minimum and maximum values of the performances. We compared all of this data among each other. In the supplementary section, we created tables that serve as source data, while...
Development of coordination skills in tennis
Sadirov, Vladislav ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Pravečková, Petra (referee)
6 Abstract Title: Development of coordination skills in tennis Objectives: The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is the theoretical part, the objective of which is to inform about the distribution of movement abilities and fitness factors. The objective of the second part of the thesis is to create a stack of exercises for the development of coordination in tennis for the age group 6-15 years. Methods: In the practical part, I first conducted a research and studied the available sources dealing with this issue. I tried to analyze not only literary or internet sources, but also videos on social networks and training units of top tennis players. From this knowledge I sorted and selected suitable exercises for my work. Results: The result of this work is a battery of exercises that relate to the development of coordination skills. Keywords: coordination in tennis, technique, battery of exercises
