The Status of individual professional athlete

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of a status of individual professional athlete. This issue seems to be easy to resolve as the legal doctrine unanimously classifies individual professional athletes as self-employed. However, further examination provides more detailed view and illustrates the issue is not as unambiguous as one might assume. Thus the aim of the thesis was to analyse the status and sports activity performance of individual professional athlete both theoretically and practically. The analysis of the sports activity performance of single individual professional athletes points out that their performances are different to a great extent. The sports activity performance of some athletes can be even without any doubt considered as a dependent work in terms of labour law. It results in fact that some of individual professional athletes conducts sports activity as self-employed, some of them are employees and some of them even professional soldiers. Every single legal status is connected with various benefits but also with some difficulties. In addition, according to predominant practice and regardless on the nature of their sports activity performance athletes are free to choose their legal status. Evaluation of the effectiveness of O2TV communication campaigns

Title: Evaluation of the effectiveness of communication campaigns O2TV Objectives: The main objective of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of launching campaign O2 Sport (2015) and to compare O2TV campaigns for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017. After that, improvements are proposed for the overall communication of O2 television and its sports channels both in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Methods: Used method in the thesis was analysing documents. This method was used to evaluate the O2 Sport launching campaign and to evaluate other campaigns from 2015, 2016, 2017. Results: The results of the work revealed that the O2 Sport launching campaign was sophisticated and effective. Even comparison of the campaigns throughout the evaluated years and based on all considerations, the most successful year was 2015 when the O2 Sport campaign was also launched. Television fanship and the phenomenon of game. History-sociological study of television fanship

The goal of the diploma thesis is to describe basic characteristics of mediate fanship, which we interprate as a specific form of game. In theoretical part we discuss typologies of fans, concept of flow and antropological and philosophical interpretations of game. We also present some aspects of modernity. Diploma thesis uses qualitative research and it combines three methods: archival research, observation and interviews. The aim of archival research done in the archive of the Czech television si to describe transformation of televison fanship in time. We discuss that this phenomenon is not a matter of the last twenty years and that it has its own history. Observations and interviews brings us to nowadays. We combine perspective of an observer with the data taken from interviews. Ten interviews were made during the research.

This diploma thesis describes the phenomenon of fitness through the gender perspective. The research took place in the environment of a particular fitness center. The space of the gym and the visitors' behavior were observed through the participating observation and semi- structured interviews. It was explored how a specific activity helps to form the identity of the trainees and how the relationships between them are created. This thesis analysis the rules according to which people behave in the given environment of the gym. It represents the gym as an environment that preserves the dominant concepts of masculinities and femininities on the one hand, but on the other hand visitors of the gym are allowed to disrupt the gender order by non-stereotypical behavior in certain situations. It was found out that attending a fitness center affects and disciplines the lives of trainees outside the gym.
How dogs can affect physical aktivity of the people with disability

Title: A dog's impact on the physical activity of persons with a spinal cord injury using orthopaedic wheelchairs Objective: The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate that having had a spinal cord injury, those owning a dog have more physical activity than persons with the same injury who do not own a dog. A secondary objective was to research whether individuals with a spinal cord injury owning a dog get enough daily physical activity as recommended by the World Health Organization. Methods: Qualitative research method was employed for the purpose of this thesis. The data were collected using a semi-structured interview "PARA-SCI." Physical activity was measured by an accelerometer ActiGraph GT3X+ which every participant received in order to measure his or her physical activity. Each participant's physical activity was measured for three weeks. Then, a subjective measurement of the participants' physical activity was conducted by means of a personal interview PARA-SCI. During the interview, each participant's activity was recorded into the PARA-SCI sheets. Next, objective data from the accelerometers were compared with the subjective data from the semi-structured personal interviews PARA-SCI. Title: Funding Opportunitites For Ice Hockey Club Slavoj Zbraslav Objectives: The key objective of this thesis is to find out new possibilities of funding the ice hockey club Slavoj Zbraslav, especially from public funds. In addition, proposals for the specific grants, that the ice hockey club can use, are made as a part of the thesis. Methods: The thesis use a qualitative method of an interview to collect the primary data. Further the secondary data are analysed with the methods of descriptive analysis and analysis of the documents. Results: The ice hockey club Slavoj Zbraslav does not use all possible grants for funding. Therefore, some of the funding program were selected and new proposals for grants were suggested. A sight into the history of business in Jindřichohradecko region during the 70s and the 80s of the 20th century (using the example of Jitka company)

The aim of this thesis is to introduce development of national company Jitka located in Jindřichův Hradec in the period of normalization; 70's to 80's of the 20th century. The thesis is divided into two key sections. The first gives a theoretical background necessary to understand social development in Czechoslovakia in given period and focuses on business in textile industry. The second section concentrates directly on Jitka Company. As the main sources of information were used financial statements, annual reports, budgets of the Company and documentation related to culture and social life of employees. I can see an important contribution in analyzing market development of Jitka Company. It was subsequently compared to situation in other textile companies in Southern Bohemia; Otavan from Treboň and branch of Partex company in Nová Bystřice. An essential part of the thesis is questionnaires completed by former employees compared to available archive documentation.
The influence of the sports club on the development of the region

The diploma thesis deals with the influence of sports clubs on the development of the region - South Bohemian Region. The task of the work is to determine and analyze the effects of sports activities on the development of the region and to follow up the measures leading to the improvement of the current state. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis defines the basic concepts of regional development, such as region, regional development or regional policy. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the field of sport, including its relation to the development of the region. The practical part examines the factors and areas in which sports clubs can contribute to regional development. The work also examines the statistics of sport, the development of the membership base and the number of sports clubs. Subsequently, the economic impacts of sports clubs on the region are evaluated by quantitative analysis. One output of this work is the identification of possible impacts of sport on regional development and their subsequent quantitative analysis. Another output is the evaluation of the survey of sports clubs in the South Bohemian region in terms of the current status of sports clubs in individual size groups of municipalities. The conclusion of the practical part includes an analysis of the impact analysis and the research of the sports clubs.
The influence of alcohol on muscle contraction time in the thigh muscle area

Name of thework: The alcohol influence on the rate of muscle contraction in the muscles of the thigh area Objective of the thesis: 1. The aim of the work was to determine the influence of an alcohol on contractile properties of muscles of m. Rectus femoris and m. Vastus lateralis in men and women. 2. Comparison of properties of postural and phasic muscles. Method: This is an empirical - theoretical work in which the research has the character of a quasi-experiment of a group of 22 probands of different genders with an experimental way of obtaining data. The experiment was applied on students that attend UK FTVS daily. The age of students ranged from 21 to 25 years. All students had to have a valid medical check-up and passed through a CAGE questionnaire that identifies alcohol addiction. The measurement was performed with the TMG 100, which serves to measure the contractile properties of the muscles. The muscles m.rectus femoris as representatives of postural musles and m.vastus literalis as representatives of phasic muscles, were chosen as examples. The research consisted of 4 rounds, where the first round was alcohol-free and the other three were with alcohol. Each round contained a dose of 0.3 grams of alcohol per kilogram of weight. Title: Conditional preparation in the shooting. Objectives: The aim of this study is to analyze the shooting fitness training. Methods: In this work was used especially the method of research of professional literature, articles and internet sources. Based on this analysis, theoretical knowledge about fitness training in sport shooting is collected. Results: The analysis undertaken shooting fitness training, based on a literature search of articles on the Internet, it was found that fitness training in sport shooting plays a big role.
