Attitudes and Perception of the Sport Values Transmitted by International Organizations

Title: Attitudes and Perception of the Sport Values Transmitted by International Organizations Objectives: To compare the attitudes and opinions of Czech University students towards contemporary sport, especially the values it actually conveys and which it should convey in our society. To identify the similarities and differences between the individual fields of study of the University in terms of the values they believe sport should convey. The work should also reveal whether the given view of young people corresponds to the values promoted by organizations dealing with this issue: the International Olympic Committee, the International Committee for Fair Play, the European Union and the United Nations. Methods: It was chosen a quantitative method of electronic questionnaire. The questionnaire was created, based on the findings from the theoretical part. For the creation of the questionnaire was chosen server Survio. Subsequently, the questionnaire was distributed to university students of various fields. The Formation of Authority in Women's Volleyball: The Influence of Gender on Building Power Techniques and Strategies in Coaching

This bachelor's thesis is about the influence of gender on the construction of power techniques or strategies that female volleyball coaches use to build their authority. It analyses the attitudes of male and female coaches towards their trainees and their interaction with them, but also with other coaches within the framework of cooperation in one team. The thesis focuses on the individual findings of the interviewed respondents who influence the building of authority and communication with the wards of the performance level of volleyball. The work is based on the assumption that women and men, depending on gender, bring different methods to sport through which they shape their authority and communication. In the theoretical part, gender and the sports environment which is associated with masculinity are discussed (Connell, 1995). Furthermore, attention is paid to the role of the coach and his competencies, including the concept of authority and its distribution, which in the coach's position is central to cooperation with the trainees. Women in strength sports.

The bachelor thesis "Women in strength sports" deals with a qualitative analysis of self- concept of women participating in strength sports, weightlifting and CrossFit. Using semi- structured interviews and based on the accounts of these women's experiences, a self-image of women in strength sports was created. The aim was to explore the experiences of women in strength sports and how they perceive themselves. Through their personal experiences, the thesis seeks to identify factors that may influence their perceptions. The analysis also focuses on the normative perceptions of women in strength sports. Attention is also given to media representation and equality in strength sports competitions.
Sociology of sport focused on cycling: cycling as an extended movement activity in free time

From the perspective of basic social and value characteristics professional sport is pulled from common social context while free-time sport is anchored deeply in. The rate of preference of sport activities significantly affects intensity of spending free time and form of life style. A lot of researches are dedicated to free-time sporting specifically cycling many of projects. Second part of my work is created from interpretation of results of my own research of different aspects of cycling. It has been showed respondents riding a bike carry on cycling most often due to rest and relaxation. Very frequent reason for cycling is making trips and many of cyclists go to multiday vacation with bikes. Further the work devotes to analysis what cycling means for respondents, if they heard in their neighborhood cues about another people outfits, whether they spend vacation on bikes et cetera.
Football and social modernization

(English) This work deals with transformation of football (soccer) in process of social modernization and partially to influences of football on the modernization. A goal of this work is comprehension of basic dynamics of modern football which assumes combination of theoretical and historical approach. A core of the analysis (exploiting plurality of theoretical approaches) is aimed at situation in Europe (and particularly in England) which was crucial for general development. However, non-European regions are not neglected. Af first is the work focused on characterization of premodern team ball games from which later resulted modern football. Analytical framework comprises relation of football to four modernization trends and its selected displays: rationalization of society (creation of a formal rules, institutionalization of football and development of tactic), market generalization and expansion of economic system (commercialization of football including mass mediums), professionalization of players and particularities of football in state socialist countries), transformations of social bonds, identity and increase of nation states (nationalism and clubism) and displays of selected social inequalities in football and efforts to its change (class inequalities, global inequalities and gendered...
