This thesis considers current status of recording industry divided into two parts – music and audiobooks, either in the whole world and Czech Republic. Used technologies, payment systems and business models are examined alongside with fresh information from recording industry. The models part describes an ideal business model, which incorporates current trends and creates a vision of the business in the future. Applied part adjusts this model according to real world factors into a model usable in the Czech Republic. A final SWOT analysis describes all strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the given model.
Key aspects of web applications according to their business focus

The main focus of this diploma thesis is the characteristics of key aspects, which are important when designing, implementing and maintaining web application, whereas these aspects differ according to business model of the web application. The thesis reflects modern trends in the areas of web project management, UX, web design, E-Commerce process management etc. The thesis consists of the introduction, theoretical part, practical part and conclusion. In the introduction I present the reason for picking this topic, the more in-depth targets of the thesis, preconditions, restrictions, in-depth structure, sum-up the expected contribution and present research of the field. The theoretical part consists of the information about online business and introduction of the web applications. Furthermore, the key domains are presented with the new trends in different areas of web applications. In the practical part, at the beginning, there are categories of web applications defined, which are based on different business models introduced earlier. This part is followed by the comprehensive analysis in the field of web E-Commerce applications for each category of the web application, with the output of trends and best practices in the field according to each domain of the web application. It is then followed by the analysis of situation around web applications in general, because here were also some trends and best practice noticed. In conclusion I sum up the acquired results, introduce the contribution of the thesis and think about the situation around the web applications.
Zara Business Model Analysis

Zara is one of the most successful and fastest growing retail apparel company in the world. This retail chain is regarded as a pioneer of fast fashion companies whose main feature is quick response to new fashion trends, launching several collections a year and continuous assortment refreshing. Zara has entered the Czech Republic in 2001. On the local market the company presents itself as a premium brand whereas in Western Europe Zara is seen as a middle class brand. The company Zara Česká republika operates only six stores and its sales, compared with the largest clothing chains operating on the Czech market, are rather low. The diploma thesis has two main objectives. One goal is to describe and analyse the business model of the retail chain Zara as many experts believe that the company's business model is the reason of its tremendous success. The second major goal of this thesis is to determine how Czech women perceive the retail chain Zara in comparison with other apparel chains operating on the Czech market and to verify the hypothesis that the Czech female consumers are not satisfied with quality-price ratio of goods offered by chain Zara. The secondary objective of the thesis is to characterize the apparel business and to explain the concept of fast fashion.
Analysis of business models in the gaming industry

The topic of this thesis is to analyze the business models currently used in the gaming industry. The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current economic situation of the industry, distribution channels, used technologies and business practices from the perspective of all market participants. The theoretical part is due to less frequent topic devoted to the description of all entities of gaming industry. It analyzes not only all the actors involved in the development of video games and their subsequent sale but also the technical tools used to play games and also the players themselves. Video games are divided into two main streams (hardcore and casual) which also determine the structure and analysis. The analytical part focuses on capturing the most widely used business models and their combination for the sale of the video games. Models are then categorized into two groups (goods and services) and represent two different approaches to pricing scenarios. For each business model describes the basic principle, its pros and cons, the factors influencing the successful implementation and an example of the use of the model in practice. The analysis also includes the socio-economic profiles of two major market segments. In conclusion, based on the current developments and current trends in the field across the gambling industry the work tries to predict the future development of business models and for video games respectively. the whole industry.
Shipping and logistic solutions for ski import from USA

The purpose of this thesis is introduction of Icelantic Boards, a ski producing company. This thesis will also provide information on carrier possibilities for company's export overseas and useful Incoterms conditions. In the final part, there is a close look at the company's products, on import variants and finally there are recommendations for particular type of shipping overseas, as well as possibilities for increase of sales of their products on European market.

Digital content business models

This thesis is aimed at digital content business models. Business model is a broad area comprised of variety of activities and strategies in order to fulfill the business target. In the past two decades user's requirements to digital media underwent many dramatic changes. Business model that would be broadly accepted as profit-making model still has not been discovered. Given that this thesis can serve as current business models and their influential factors overview. One part of the business models description is devoted to historical business models that gave the foundation to business models as we know them at present. Business models are categorized according to fundamental operating principles. These fundamental operating principles are utilized in so-called pillars of business models that symbolize the main characteristics of model and that are how the profit is generated. Described business modes always comprised of main pillar of business model -- main profit generator -- and another additional pillar(s) that helps to complete the unique business model characteristic. Next part of this thesis deals with initiators of new business model and technology they are depended to. Surprisingly the new business models initiators in history were not a commercials subject but the most innovative ideas came from highly profiled communities of IT enthusiasts. The final part of this work brings the basic information about the current status in profitable business model development as well as it offers manager's opinions regarded to the current and future business models development. This part includes description of most common problems in the process of changing company into digital company type.
Entrepreneurship Purpose and Realization within the Domain of Czech Internet

This diploma work deals with specific business concept and with possibilities of a company promotion on the Internet. The theoretical segment contains a survey of the Internet business models and a synopsis of current individual forms of promotion used on the Internet. There are described advantages and disadvantages of banner advertising, contextual advertising, email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), social networks and affiliate marketing. The final part of theoretical section of the thesis is dedicated to the possibilities of propagation efficiency measurements. Practical part of the diploma work introduces author's own business concept and its business model. The description of specific methods of propagation realized in congruence with the noted business concept follows.

This diploma thesis is study of development of eductional application with game features. Theme of the aplication is developing of social skills. Introduction consists of determination of requirements on process of development and on application itself. The work follows with theoretical basis for particular aspects of developing and selling of application. From technical perspective the work contains detail informations about so called chatbot technologies, it's princips of functioning and evaluation of it's contemporary maturity level with regard to usability in my application. The work ends by concrete proposal of solutin of application based on theoretical findings.
