Weight loss with the help of physical activities and healthy eating
KOPEČKOVÁ, Vendula
My bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of weight reduction. The aim is to set and verify a month-long program to reduce weight thanks to regular exercise and balanced healthy diet. Statistic methods, methods of exercise program application, rules of healthy eating, anthropometric measurements, and questionnaire were used to research how the intervention program affects body weight, muscle weight, the size of problematic body parts especially waistline and hipline. There were positive changes in the experimental group in connection with the intervention program. There were statistically important changes connected to weight loss, muscle weight, hipline, and waistline. On the other hand, there were no changes in the testing group which did not follow the intervention program. The effects of the formed program have been verified.

Title: Exercise with seniors in a retirement home with a special regime Objective: The main aim of the study was to determine whether seniors with cognitive impairment experience improvements that have a statistical significance in selected components of physical fitness after a three-month exercise program. Furthermore, it was checked whether regular physical activity changes their attitude towards exercise. Methods: The study involved 9 probands (3 of them male) aged 72 to 90 years with cognitive impairment. The probands completed a three-month program (April-June 2022) in which they performed group and seated chair exercises twice a week for sixty minutes. At the beginning and end of the intervention program, they underwent an orientation fitness assessment using the senior fitness test and a questionnaire form on health limitations and attitudes toward exercise. Results: The results of the senior fitness test showed that there was a statistically significant improvement in the parameters of lower limb strength, and agility with dynamic balance. Some improvement was seen in the other parameters, but without the statistical significance. Most probands showed a positive change in their attitude towards physical activity. Jandáková, Simona ; Hráský, Pavel (advisor) ; Jurák, Daniel (referee)
Title: Diagnosis and correction of muscle imbalances with regard to swimmers aged 12 to 17 years Objectives: The main aim of this work is to find out what imbalances selected teen swimmers have. Further verify the effectiveness of the proposed compensation program for these swimmers. Methods: Diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system was performed using selected tests for measuring balance abilities (Romberg test, Flamingo), examination of muscle shortening and weakening (testing according to Janda and Kopřivová and Čermák), evaluation of postural and respiratory stereotype and evaluation of deep stabilization system bed). These tests were applied to a selected group of swimmers. The measured values served as an input test (pretest), on the basis of which a compensation program was designed. After the end of the three-month compensation program, a control measurement (posttest) followed, the results of which were compared with the pretest. Key words: Swimming, compensatory exercises, prevention of injuries to swimmers, intervention program, stabilization and mobilization system

Title: Effect of individual intervention programme on selected components of health- related fitness to proband without previous movement experience Objective: The main objective of the thesis is physical analysis and diagnosis of individual, individual intervention program creation and subsequent assessment of whether and how personally leaded program can affect selected components of health-related fitness to proband without any previous experience. Methods: For the needs of this thesis several types of measurements were used. Body composition using bioelectrical impedance analysis, postural stability - posturograph, laboratory stress test on a treadmill, terrain stress test on the athletics track, the basic movement patterns using diagnostic according to Janda, as a complementary test was chosen dynamometer to determine the strength of forearm muscles. Results: During the 16-week intervention changes occurred in many of the parameters. Individual intervention program has brought significant changes in body composition, specifically to reduce the ratio of ECM/BCM in the early phase of the program, but later was its exacerbation. Generally, the trend showed improvement in postural stability due to the generally realized PA. The intervention program did not demonstrate significant changes in...

Title: Influence of intervention program to improve the flat foot of junior footballers Objective: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to improve the condition of the flat foot of junior female football players for 3 months. Further inform respondents about the subsequent prevention of this disorder. The goal will be realized by a set intervention program, which the respondents will fulfill three times a week under my supervision and twice a week in their home. Methods: The measurement was based on the footprint on the plate. The intervention plan includes methods such as sensorimotor stimulation, exteroceptive and proprioceptive facilitation, the Bobaths concept, dermo-neuro muscular therapy and lower limb massage with the greatest focus on the sole of the foot, ankle joints and muscles in the lower leg area. After completing the 3-month intervention, the final measurement will be carried out again with the help of the footprint on the plate and the subsequent survey. Results: The results are presented in the form of graphs and tables. The Chippaux-Šmirák method will be used to obtain accurate data. After evaluating the results it was found, that after the first measurement, twelve out of thirteen footballers tested have flat foot. After the intervention, only two girls have a flat foot and only...
