Analysis of factors affecting the survival time of the low cost carrier on the market

The objective of the thesis is to perform an analysis of low cost carrier market in the Europe, case studies of defunct and successful low cost carriers and to determine factors, which affect survival time of low cost carrier on the market. The thesis is focused on the European market in 2007-2017. It includes brief description of origin of low cost carriers and their spread to the European market. Next part is dedicated to general description of a low cost carrier and analysis of the European low cost market. Three defunct low cost carriers are described in the next chapter, which includes basic information and detailed description of their actions. It includes determination of cause of ceasing their operation. Three successful low cost carriers are described in the same manner. In the end, the factors affecting survival time of low cost carriers are determined with usage of an analysis of economic and operational parameters of low cost carriers.

The diploma thesis deals with propose of adjustments in international marketing strategy. The aim of the diploma thesis is to make a proposal of a new regular flights from the international Brno Airport. The diploma thesis is divided into three parts, theoretical, analysis of the current state and proposal. The first part presents a theoretical background summarizing the knowledges obtained from literature. The following section characterizes the current situation of the airport, analyses are made, and the results of my own research are presented. Based on the results of analytical part, there is created a proposal for new scheduled flights.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the company Czech Airlines and analyzes its position on the aviation market. The thesis describes the development of CSA and the important circumstances that shaped the present form of company. CSA has been struggling with economic problems, that is why a financial analysis is included in the thesis. It will help to clarify whether the company still has a future or not. There is also an analysis of the aviation market where the company is compared with competing airlines. CSA has changed dramatically over the last decade, and my thesis specializes on these changes.
Airline Branding: Perception of Airline Brands on the Czech Market by Generation Y

The bachelor thesis "Airline Branding: Perception of Airline Brands on the Czech Market by Generation Y" discusses branding in the airline industry. The theoretical part firstly uses basic marketing concepts to define individual attributes of the industry. The work then describes the theory and essential principles of branding, focusing mainly on specific characteristics of the airline segment. Thereafter, single aspects such as branding, positioning, segmentation, brand equity building, and strategic brand management are analyzed. Within the theoretical part, significant differences and fundamental characteristics important for the success of airline brands are presented. In the second section of the theoretical part, Generation Y is defined. The chapter explains the thinking process of this generation, media consumption habits, and specifics of marketing communication targeting Generation Y. The research part examines the perception of airline brands by Generation Y in the Czech Republic, as this target group becomes more relevant and important for the air travel market. Corporate education and its relationship to mobilty and motivation

Bachelor thesis concerns with corporate education and in its context concerns also with mobility in company and motivation to education. The thesis elaborates wider background to this topic, which is seen in the relationship of work and knowledge. The development, which it follows, is culminating in facts, which some theorists identify as aspects of the knowledge society. Corporate education is understood as a part of lifelong learning and its basic characteristics are described. The thesis also briefly describes the issues of mobility of workers in the company and their motivation for corporate education. The author used this background as a basis for practical research carried out in the technical section of airline, which examined the attitudes of its staff to issue of the thesis. The research is focused on the business aviation sector, which provides specific conditions for worker mobility, and for the motivation for learning. The selected airline was chosen because of its size and broadly conducted corporate education. The research shows that employees perceive their corporate education positively, but that they do not see it as a good instrument for mobility in company. Proposed marketing strategy of a low-cost airline

My Master thesis focuses on the design of the marketing strategy of a low-cost airline SparrowJet. The first chapter of the theoretical parts contains the required basics of theoretical information necessary to develop a marketing plan. In the second chapter is an analysis of the air transportation market with an emphasis on the low-cost segment. The final chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to the marketing mix in the transportation. The practical part of my thesis begins with the situation analysis, which includes: the PEST analysis, Porters five forces analysis, a competition analysis and a customer analysis. My work is concluded with a complete proposal of a marketing strategy for the airline, including both basic strategy of S-T-P and a marketing mix.
