Kůdelová, Tereza ; Horák, Aleš (referee) ; Dohnal, Mirko (referee) ; Raudenský, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the polymer hollow fibres heat exchangers. The main object of the research is the formation and process of condensation on the outer surface of fibres and the effect of phase change on the heat transfer. The study deals with the influence of the geometry of the heat exchnager on the heat transfer and the condensation process. Fatigue tests of polymeric hollow fibres exchangers are also part of the work. The work provides an overview of the possible use of such heat exchangers in industrial applications associated with condensation.

Preparation of flight plan for cross-country flight from LKTB to ULLI by L-200A airplane
Hornych, Petr ; Imriš, Pavel (referee) ; Raudenský, Miroslav (advisor)
The objective of this study is the submission of entire IFR flight plans of chartered routes, including risk analysis and necessary equipment for flights in central and east Europe. The paper describes rules for IFR flights, which must be followed when flying into these areas and also focuses on the meteorological situation, legislation and general geographical characteristics of the mentioned states. The flight to Russia is divided into several legs. All the available information is according to the valid AIP.
The comparison of operational, technical and economical characteristics of aircraft used for para jumping activity.
Louman, Petr ; Raudenský, Miroslav (referee) ; Imriš, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis compares the aircraft AN-2, C206, SMG-92, L410 and PAC750XL based on analysis of operational, technical and economic parameters. It contains information and description of the characteristic in terms of piloting, training requirements, demands and ways for obtaining ratings. The outcome of the thesis is to determine which aircraft is suitable for each purpose and determine the most suitable type for given activity.
Design of laboratory stand for temperature measurement
Matějů, Jiří ; Horský, Jaroslav (referee) ; Raudenský, Miroslav (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis solves design of a laboratory stand for temperature measurements. The stand is able to accelerate a steel sample of maximal weight 20 kg from the height of 7m to the speed of maximum 10 m/s. During a duty cycle of the stand the sample is accelerated on the length of 4 m, the constant speed is kept on the length of 2 m, on the length of 1 m the sample is stopped and then it’s lifted to a position for accelerating. During the constant speed the sample is cooled by water nozzles and there is measured temperature curve in the sample. The acceleration and constant speed is regulated by asynchronous servo motor with servo-driver. The stopping of sample is done by external mechanical braking system. The thesis is focused on selection of design solution, basic dynamic calculation and selection of individual components of stand.
Optimization of Secondary Cooling Parameters of Continuous Steel Casting
Klimeš, Lubomír ; Raudenský, Miroslav (referee) ; Pyszko, René (referee) ; Buček, Pavol (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
Continuous casting is a dominant production technology of steelmaking which is currently used for more that 95% of the world steel production. Mathematical modelling and optimal control of casting machine are crucial tasks in continuous steel casting which directly influence productivity and quality of produced steel, competitiveness of steelworks, safety of casting machine operation and its impact on the environment. This thesis concerns with the development and implementation of the numerical model of temperature field for continuously cast steel billets and its use for optimal control of the casting machine. The numerical model was developed and implemented in MATLAB. Due to computational demands the model was parallelized by means of the computation on graphics processing units NVIDIA with the computational architecture CUDA. Validation and verification of the model were performed with the use of operational data from Trinecke zelezarny steelworks. The model was then utilized as a part of the developed model-based predictive control system for the optimal control of dynamic situations in the casting machine operation. The behaviour of the developed control system was examined by means of dynamic model situations that have confirmed the ability of the implemented system to optimally control dynamic operations of the continuous casting machine. Both the numerical model of the temperature field and the model-based predictive control system have been implemented so that they can be modified for any casting machine and this allows for their prospective commercial applications.
Air navigation in area of Africa
Míček, Petr ; Imriš, Pavel (referee) ; Raudenský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to prepare navigation flight over uninhabited areas of Africa. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. First part deals with navigation coverage of inland parts of Africa. The second part is dedicated to preflight preparations and flight performance in uninhabited areas, using comparative navigation and computational navigation. Flight from Paris to Cape Town is suggested in the third part.
Planning of optimal VFR routes from the Czech Republic to the Republic of Croatia
Klačan, Matej ; Raudenský, Miroslav (referee) ; Sklenář, Filip (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a detailed ground preparation of three different VFR flights from Czech Republic to the Republic of Croatia for a full occupied Cessna 172SP. The first reserch part is general introduction to the issue and acquaintance with the aircraft and its equipment. Special emphasis is placed on the fact that all planed flights are in accordance with aviation legislation, which is dealt with in the second part of the research part of the thesis work. The practical part of the thesis work deals with the issue of ground preparation itself, with the fact that it deals in more detail with navigation preparation of individual flights. Finally, the financial demands for our flights are given.
