The cooperation between family and school in the case of pupils with special educational needs from teachers' point of view

Annotation: Michaela Kaštánková Pecháčová's diploma thesis "The cooperation between family and school in the case of pupils with special educational needs from teachers' point of view" deals with the issues of school-family cooperation. It is divided into a theoretical part, which describes the functions of the family and school, forms of cooperation and communication between both parties. It also focuses on the role of educational counsellor and form teacher. Theoretical knowledge is mainly from the field of pedagogy, psychology, didactics and special pedagogy, as well as from professional experience. The second part of this thesis is the research. The research consists of two parts. The first part deals with the area of expertise of the educational counsellor during the online education. The second part researches the opinions of the teachers about the problematics of the cooperation between school and parents in primary educational system using qualitative interviews with teachers and subsequently their analysis. Principals of small schools with composite classes

The thesis is about principals of small schools with composite classes. The aim is to explore activity areas of principals of small schools in Ústecký region. Questionnaire survey was used to explore the principal activities and their specifics. The results showed that the principals mostly deal with areas related to administrative, pedagogical process, communication and economic agenda. Administrative activities are rated by principals as their least favourite activity. The pedagogical process and focus on pupils is the highest priority for the principals however they would like to have more time for this activity. The work of small schools' principals can be specified by family environment of the school and close contact with teachers, pupils and parents. And more, there are specific conditions for pedagogical activity in the classes, principals are usually overloaded and they need to be versatile.
Creativity development of pupils in older school age in the work of teachers

The thesis is focused on creativity development of pupils in older school age in the work of teachers. First part of thesis acquainted with theory of creativity and explain basic concepts about creativity development and creative teaching in the work of teacher. The aim of this thesis is to find out the form, how teachers develop pupils' creativity in their work and how the teachers think about creativity teaching. The practical part contains a pilot study survey and four case studies implemented within the main research. Emphasis is placed on observing teaching activities and subsequent interviews with teachers about teaching course. Results showed, that teachers are able to use creativity teaching. However, there are still several options, how to improve the quality of creativity teaching. We suggested specific recomendations in the conclusion, how to improve the quality of creativity teaching. The most frequent situations stimulating defense mechanisms self-concept of pupil and their solution

This thesis deals with the development of defense mechanisms, as shaped by its psychoanalytic origins to contemporary psychology. Next, deals with stressful situations that are seen as the most common possible causes underlying defense mechanisms currently. The work is framed within the school context. It focuses on primary school pupils and frequent stressful situations related to the school environment. In its conclusion, the work focuses on the overall approach to children when they are already in a stressful situation, highlights the ways in these times, children pointing in the right direction and how to approach them if they already apply some defense. Work sums up the issue of defense mechanisms, trying to modernize this concept based on the history and highlights its possible rife among pupils in practice.
