Working of the theme Adam and Eva at students of art-therapy
JEŽKOVÁ, Kateřina
The bachelor thesis deals with the motif of Adam and Eve in the work of art therapy students. The aim of the thesis is to present the ways of processing Adam and Eve (watercolour) and at the same time to present the interpretive potential of this theme. The integrated research design assumes the mapping of watercolours with the theme of Adam and Eve. The aim of the quantitative part of the research is to identify common and possibly original ways of processing the theme. This part of the research is complemented by a qualitative part which consists of the interpretive potentials of the individual phases of the biblical story, the interactions between the characters and the less frequent processing of Adam and Eve in the art therapy assignment. The research thus includes a description, which is complemented by a possible explanation. The interpretation is only a possibility that can be offered to the client not a given fact. In the qualitative part of the research, semi-structured interviews with the authors of the selected artefacts will be analysed (why they captured this phase of the story, how they worked with the theme in their interpretations, etc.). The obtained data follow mainly on the presentation of the interpretive potential of the artistic representation of the theme of the biblical story - Adam and Eve in the context of art therapy work.
Islamic Culture in European Animated Film
Ježková, Kateřina ; Štoll, Martin (advisor) ; Soukup, Martin (referee)
The thesis named Islamic Culture In European Animated Film analyses five selected animated feature films by European filmmakers (Persepolis, Tehran Taboo, The Breadwinner, The Swallows of Kabul and My Sunny Maad) that depict life in Islamic society. The main aim of this thesis is to examine how and through what motifs and forms is Islamic culture presented in the films. The films are analysed both in terms of narrative and stylistic devices (mise-en-scene, camera work, editing, sound). The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to the description of the paradigm of European and Islamic culture and their mutual cultural clashes; one chapter is also dedicated to a brief characterization of animated film and its specifics. This is followed by the methodology, where the basic premises of the analytical part are presented, and the analysis itself, which is supplemented with images from the films for a better understanding of the described phenomena. The last chapter includes an evaluation of the analysis with a summary of the most important findings arising from the analysis.
A study of HILIC mechanism on selected UHPLC stationary phases
Ježková, Kateřina ; Nováková, Lucie (advisor) ; Chocholouš, Petr (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Analytical Chemistry Candidate: Kateřina Ježková Supervisor: Doc. PharmDr. Lucie Nováková, Ph.D. Title of Diploma thesis: A study of HILIC mechanism on selected UHPLC stationary phases This diploma thesis deals with a study of HILIC mechanism of Ascentis HILIC Express (2.1 x 100 mm, 2.7 µm, Sigma-Aldrich), ACQUITY UPLC BEH HILIC (2.1 x 100 mm, 1.7 µm, Waters) and ACQUITY UPLC BEH AMIDE (2.1 x 100 mm, 1.7 µm, Waters) stationary phases. Totally 15 analytes had been selected for testing of the characteristics of the stationary phases. The analytes were divided into groups of acidic, basic and neutral substances. The measurement was performed on UHPLC instrument by Waters with detection by a PDA detector at the wave-length of 254 nm. Isocratic elution was used for the measurement. The flow was set to 0.4 ml/min, injection volume was 1-2 µl. Mobile phase was composed of ultrapure water or buffer and acetonitrile. For an easier evaluation, tables and charts were constructed from measured data. Lin-lin, log-lin and log-log plots were constucted. The stationary phases were evaluated in terms of selectivity and retention of the individual groups of analytes. The influence of a percentage of water and acetonitrile in mobile...
Good professional practice in social work with mothers with children in asylum home
JEŽKOVÁ, Kateřina
This bachelor reasearch deals with the topics of good practice with mothers with children in Shelter homes and also it deals with their clients and their work staff. The main objective of this procect was to find out what methods, theories and techniques workers in shelter homes can use with clients. The thesis consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is divided into four sections, dealing with questions about the shelter itself, clients, shelter workers, and how workers deal with clients in the facility. Qualitative research was selected to achieve the required information. At which, open encoding was performed. Information was gathered through polling and semi-structured interview techniques. The research group was made up of seven ifnormants. Informants were shelter workers and workers in social services. The research was carried out in two shelters, in the Asylum House for Women and Mothers with Children in Opava and in the Asylum House in Šromov in Prague. Interviews were recorded on the devices, which were recorded on the voice recorder and subsequently rewritten. The information obtained was processed using the trumpet method. Research has identified various methods, theories, techniques by which workers use with mothers with children in shelter's homes. In addition, it has been found out how it is effective with direct contact with clients l and what was the next job development for workers in the Shelter home. The results of the bachelor's reasearch can be used for workers in asylum homes, for their further development, as well as for students of Social Services oriented high schools and Universities who plan to work in such a facility. Subsequently, reasearch work can also be used as a teaching material.

Ježková, Kateřina ; Burišková, Klára (advisor) ; Nejdlová, Tereza (referee)
Introduction: The thesis "Alzheimer's disease and department of intensive care" deals with the specifics and difficulties of nursing care for patients with this chronic and degenerative disease in intensive care units (ICUs). The number of patients with Alzheimer's disease is constantly growing and caring for them in such specific wards is extremely demanding. The purpose of this thesis was to map the most problematic areas in the care provided and propose their solution. Methods and results: The empirical part presents the results of a conducted qualitative research which took place in the form of interviews with 10 general nurses who have experience with such patients. Following a word-for-word transcription of the obtained interviews, the results are summarized in a final discussion. They show that when caring for a patient with dementia, general nurses see the main problems in his decreased ability to cooperate, behavioral changes, which often appear as a result of environment change, and difficult communication. They consider the patient's confusion, his negativism, and the inability to find the right words to be communication barriers. This results in enormous demands on the caring staff's patience. The interviewed general nurses however approach patients with dementia generally positively...
