Progressive turning tools
Franc, Aleš ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on progressive turning tools. The beginning of the study deals with history and development of turning tolls. Next part deals with the tool geometry. The following description of the different tool materials, construction tools and distribution, analysis of major companies and their catalogs. At the end the procedure of the selection of the tool holder and indexable cutting insert is given.
Implementation of lean manufacturing principles to the production of components for gas-insulated high-voltage substantions (GIS)
Franc, Aleš ; Navrátil, Petr (referee) ; Kubík, Roman (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on implementation of lean manufacturing methods. The beginning of the study deals with history and description of theoretical tools. Next part describes company ABB and gas-insulated high-voltage substations. Followed by process flow analysis before and after moving the company. There is described assembly and product portfolio in this thesis. Last chapters deal with the application of lean manufacturing methods and economy evaluation.
Study of flow and consolidation behaviour of binar mixtures of Cellets and filler for preparation of multilayer tablets
Jarolímová, Žofie ; Šklubalová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Franc, Aleš (referee) ; Zámostný, Petr (referee)
Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Candidate Mgr. Žofie Jarolímová Supervisor doc. PharmDr. Zdeňka Šklubalová, Ph.D. Title of Doctoral Thesis Study of flow and consolidation behaviour of binary mixtures of Cellets and filler for preparation of multilayer tablets The manufacture and quality of solid dosage forms is influenced mainly by flow, consolidation and compaction properties of powder excipients. In this work, the behaviour of pellets made of microcrystalline cellulose (cellets), which might be used as a drug carrier in multilayer tablets, and their binary mixtures with microcrystalline cellulose was studied. More than 20 powder excipients commonly used in tablet production and their binary mixtures were involved in preliminary studies. Measuring of the angle of repose, Hausner ratio and the mass flow rate through a hopper orifice was influenced by the particle shape, size and the width of the particle size distribution. In order to identify easily the free flowing substances, the hopper orifice having 10 mm diameter was useful. Excellent flow properties were confirmed for cellets with conventional testing methods thanks to their spherical shape and narrow particle size distribution. The avalanche testing using a rotational drum...

Foreign Students of Czech Language in the Czech republic (A contribution to the problematics of Migration and Students-Migrants in the Czech Context)
Franc, Aleš ; Pargač, Jan (advisor) ; Šalanda, Bohuslav (referee) ; Uherek, Zdeněk (referee)
in English The dissertation thesis deals with foreign students in the Czech republic, specifically immigrant students coming from all over the world - from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine and then from China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam. The basic objective of this work is not a real attempt to display the everyday reality of certain groups of migrant-students of Czech language in the Czech Republic in such a way that it only focuses on the problems and barriers they encounter in their studies in the Czech language. It also deals with their adaptation and integration into mainstream Czech society. At the same time, however, we realize that this work is only a partial contribution to the knowledge of migrant-students' life in the Czech environment between 1998 and 2011. This work is based on relevant literature and the research is based on interviews with students and teaching observations. The choice of qualitative methods was intentional to serve our matter the best, since there has been a lack of research in this particular area in recent times. This focus on qualitative techniques is also dependent on the characteristics of the sample group, especially in the linguistic and sociocultural realm. The research was carried out at the Institute of Language and Training of the Charles University in Prague...
Theological roots and contemporary theology of the New Apostolic Reformation
Franc, Aleš ; Vogel, Jiří (advisor) ; Liguš, Ján (referee) ; Procházka, Pavel (referee)
Teologické kořeny a současná teologie Nové apoštolské reformace Theological roots and contemporary theology of the New Apostolic Reformation Aleš Franc NAR is fast growing part of contemporary protestantism and finds its roots in Charismatic Movement. There exists the belief in the existence of a renewed institutions of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. In this sense the Church is understood as an institution of the last time that - under the "apostolic government" - grows into eschatological fullness. Then it leaves denominational organization, unites with, and becomes the incarnation of Christ. Then the Church dominates the nations and establishing God's kingdom on earth. This teaching has its roots in the theory of ransom to the Devil. It is assumed that Adam was created as the ruler of this world. But Adam's fall gave his property to Satan and Satan became the ordinary god of this world. But now Christ's sacrifice to Satan redeemed the world from Satan's hands and gave it back to believers.
