Presentation of female politicians from a gender perspective on Facebook
Šindelářová, Kateřina ; Rosenfeldová, Jana (advisor) ; Shavit, Anna (referee)
The thesis focuses on the self-presentation of Czech female politicians through the lens of gender perspective on Facebook. It focuses on the issue of gender roles and stereotypes, which are put in the context of the political environment. It defines political communication and introduces the phenomena that appear in the field of political communication with the development of new and social media. It also presents the current situation regarding the representation of women in both chambers of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. Based on the identified gender aspects, it then examines the online communication of seven selected female MPs through quantitative content analysis and confronts the results with the existing knowledge in the field of gendered political communication. The findings of the analysis suggest that the selected women politicians tend to focus on more typically masculine issues, such as topics related to the foreign relations or economic and tax issues. In addition, the analysis focused on the presence of defined dimensions of personalisation and the selfie format as a tool of celebritisation of political communication. Both of these phenomena were minimally present in the analysis.
Biology Textbooks Evaluation from the Perspectives of Teachers
Šindelářová, Kateřina ; Hlaváčová, Lucie (advisor) ; Svobodová, Silvie (referee)
This diploma thesis focuses on selected textbooks used for teaching natural history and their evaluation by teachers who work with them. The work aims to find out teachers opinions on the quality and practical use of natural history textbooks from the publishing house "Fraus, Nová škola - Duha and SPN". The work is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts related to textbooks are explained, and attention is paid to their evaluation and use possibilities. The research uses a questionnaire survey method to evaluate selected natural history textbooks by teachers. It focuses on specific work with a textbook, on topics that, according to the respondents, are not appropriately treated, and topics that are entirely missing or need not be in the book. The subsequent analysis of the collected data shows teachers' different approaches to using the textbook; some share only selected topics with their students, and homework assignments may also vary. In addition, most teachers think that not all topics are handled correctly, nor are they all genuinely essential. KEYWORDS textbook, natural history, topic, use, Fraus, Nová škola - Duha, SPN
Chaotic system modeling using MATLAB
Lejdar, Lukáš ; Raidl, Aleš (advisor) ; Šindelářová, Kateřina (referee)
In the presented bachelor's thesis we study behavior of dynamical systems. Some interesting attributes of dynamical systems are presented using programs written by the author. For computational part of the programs MATLAB was used and for presentation of output data MATLAB in combination with GNUPLOT were used. Basic terms in chaos theory are explained with examples. In one-dimensional case we focus on the logistic map and we demonstrate a transition to chaos on it. In two-dimensional space we study the Hénon map and in three-dimensional space we take a closer look at some interesting attributes of the famous Lorenz system.
Physical activities of older school aged children in a weekly regime
Šindelářová, Kateřina ; Nechlebová, Eva (advisor) ; Hanušová, Jaroslava (referee)
This bachelor thesis presents an integration of the physical activities into the weekly regime of older school aged children. The main research is focused at comparing children from two elementary schools, one located in the center of Prague and the other one on the outskirts of the capital city, with considering their sporting and physical interests. The theoretical part deals with the necessity to incorporate the physical activities for this age category into their daily life, describes appropriate (or inappropriate) sports activities and health complications resulting from a lack of movement. In the practical part of the thesis, the questionnaire research compares the frequency of the children's physical activities integration in two mentioned elementary schools. Then follow an analysis of the data collected and a final summary of the thesis issue. The purpose of my bachelor thesis is to compare and find out in which geographical areas the older school aged children incorporate more physical activities into their lives, so basically whether are children from a big town center or a small town district better off.
Urban heat island intesity in a changing climate
Bardachova, Tatsiana ; Huszár, Peter (advisor) ; Šindelářová, Kateřina (referee)
Title: Urban heat island intesity in a changing climate Author: Tatsiana Bardachova Department: Department of Atmospheric Physics Supervisor: Mgr. Peter Huszár, Ph.D., Department of Atmospheric Physics Abstract: This bachelor thesis analyzes air temperature, specific humidity, height of boundary level, sensitive heat, speed and direction of wind in central Europe for the time periods from the year 2001 to 2010, 2041 to 2050 and 2090 to 2099. The sources of data are the regional climate model RegCM version 4.4 and the model of the land surface CLM version 5.5 extended with the urban model CLMU. The goal of the analysis is to determine the influence of the urban ecosystems on the meteorological conditions and to describe its development over time. The analysis is performed based on comparison of the diurnal cycles and examination of differences in values of a selection of meteorological parameters within and outside the city borders. In addition, this thesis provides an analysis of temperature distribution histograms and compares the model output with the empirical data obtained from measurements performed in Prague during the years 2005 to 2010. The results reveal the existance of correlations between values of certain meteorological parameters in urban an rural areas. Keywords: climate, urban heat island,...

Appreciatve suffixation in spanish and strategy of its translation
ŠINDELÁŘOVÁ, Kateřina
The bachelor thesis describes possible translations of some diminutives and augmentatives and compares the frequency of the use of these translations on the basis of their occurance in The Czech national corpus. There are theoretically explained the ways of enriching vocabulary, yet the biggest part is dedicated to appreciative suffixation in czech and spanish language, to ways of formation of diminutives and augmentatives and the strategy of their translations. In every chapter there are mentioned the most common czech and spanish apreciative suffixes and also the description of modifications of the derived words. There are also available graphs which show the frequency of the use of different translations which appear in corpus.
Spring water fauna in selected areas of Lusatian mountains
Šindelářová, Kateřina ; Bílý, Michal (advisor) ; Ladislav, Ladislav (referee)
In the years 2015 2016 was examined in the Lusatian mountains 10 head where it sprang. In each of its fauna has been collected as bentická, as well as underground, and now in three series. Then there was the environment of each spring, which is bound by the occurrence of fauna. Were chemical and physical parameters. In 9 of the watch was continuously measured and the measured temperature of the individual chemical physical indicators. It was found that the environment springs from 2013 has changed significantly, so it is stable. The water that flows on the surface, here is clean and almost meets in terms of chemical ukazatelůnormy of drinking water. The source for all the circumstances today, is the same. The underground source of these sources comes from the period of coniaku and is very shallow. The composition of the benthic fauna is significantly changed from 2013, only changing the abundance of individuals. Once again managed to confirm the occurrence of the ploštěnky mountain (Crenobia alpina). By lapacích o.k., managed to remove fauna occurring in the groundwater. It was deep and.
Evaluation of real estates for different subjects – analyse and comparison of valuations and approachs

The graduation theses is focused on inspection and description of basic access to evaluation of real property in the Czech Republic, their analysis and comparison. The theoretical part is focused on the description of legislative adjustment for evaluation of real property, definition of basic terms and relations. It deals with role of international standards and their impact on national regulations. The attention is paid methodological rules of assessing property. The next part of study descibes basic approachs, methods and techniques for assessing real property for specific aims. It is intersted in market methods (on basis of comparison, yield and cost substitutions), evaluation in agreement with regulation of Ministry of Finance and assessing in insurance (approachs of the biggest insurer, brokerage firms and methods advises by specialists). The theoretical knowledges are in the following part apply to practical study of evaluation (the real estate is family house). It contains description of valuations. In the end of the graduation theses, the approachs are compared and analyzed factors, which influences the differences.
