Fat should consist between 30 and 35% of the overall energetic intake. Children should take in two to three portions of milk and dairy products per day, while consumption of full-fat products is preferable. Recommended dosage of proteins is 0,9 g per kilo...

X-ray Unit Parameters Optimisation Based on the Laboratory Type
RADMACHER, Erich
Despite the rapid development of modern imaging methods, the radiography has remained the basic tool in radiodiagnostics. Individual radiography laboratories need adequate instrumentation for their flawless operation. The parameters of an X-ray unit must correspond to the type and quantity of its output required. The first part of the dissertation describes an X-ray unit and its individual structural units, including their principle of function. The necessary X-ray equipment and tools are also described, as well as the generation of a radiographic image in film and digital radiography. The next part of the dissertation presents the questionnaire inquiry performed. The objective of the inquiry was to obtain data on the specifics of various types of radiographic laboratories and the X-ray units used. The qualitative and quantitative statistical data obtained are presented, and the effects of the unit{\crq}s various parameters on the laboratory{\crq}s workflow are evaluated, taking the users{\crq} judgement of the instruments into account. On the basis of the number of exposures and other data, the basic types of radiography laboratories are specified. In conclusion, the optimum configuration of the parameters of an X-ray unit for individual types of laboratories is proposed. The work could serve as an aid for the orientation of the selection committee when purchasing a new unit.

TITLE: Effective communication between the school canteen manager and the primary school headmaster AUTHOR: Hana Foralová DEPARTMENT: Education Management Centre SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Irena Lhotková, PhD ABSTRACT: This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of effective communication in the area of the relationship between the school canteen manager and the primary school headmaster, in a situation where the school canteen operates under the auspices of the primary school organization. Under this arrangement, communication between two disparate environments arises which places considerable strain on the communicating parties and puts special demands on their communication skills, in particular on the part of the primary school headmaster. The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to answer the following questions: What are the key common areas of this communication, if any? What is the optimum frequency of mutual communication? Which communication channels are the most frequently used ones in this internal communication? The collected materials and evaluation of results have been summarized at the end of the thesis into a brief recommendation, a simple manual that might serve as the basis for developing or enhancing effective communication in the given area. Development of stability indicating method for chosen preparation
Chmurová, Klára ; Kastner, Petr (advisor) ; Mokrý, Milan (referee)
1 Abstrakt Development of stability indicating method for chosen preparation(HPLC determination of benzyl alcohol in vaginal cream) Graduation thesis Klára Chmurová Charles University in Prague, Pharmaceutical Faculty in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control The task was to find out a method of simultaneous determination of benzylkalcohol and imidazol (decomposition product of main substance of cream - clotrimazole). This thesis is intent on determination of benzylalcohol. We were looking for proper modification of the pharmaceutical preparation (vaginal cream), then optimisation of chromatographic conditions and validation of this HPLC method also. The best results were obtained with LiChrosphere RP 18,5 µm column (125 mm x 4,6 mm, SUPELCO, ), methanol : buffer (solution of 250 ml water, 1,05 ml triethylamine and 0,333g natrium hexasulphonate, pH = 7, set up by 85% H3PO4) 30 : 70 (v/v) was used as the mobile phase, flow rate was 1 ml/min. Detection was realised by UV detector with wave length set up on 223 nm. Time of analysis was shorter than 10 min.

The role of arachidonic acid metabolites via cytochrome P-450 in the pathogenesis of hypertension
Čertíková-Chábová, Věra ; Tesař, Vladimír (advisor) ; Wilhelm, Jiří (referee) ; Štípek, Stanislav (referee)
Background: 20-HETE and EETs, metabolites derived from arachidonic acid by cytochrome P-450 (CYP), are part of the effector mechanisms in the renin-angiotenzin-aldosterone system. They regulate vasoconstriction/ vasodilation and natriuresis and thus contribute to the regulation of blood pressure. Hypertensive rats transgenic for mouse Re-2 renin gene (TGR) are a good model for hypertension caused by a single gene and very suitable for the study of the role20-HETE and EETs in vivo. Hypothesis: Abnormal production and/or activity of 20-HETE and EETs contributes to the development and or/maintenance of high blood pressure in TGR. Materials and methods: Hypertensive TGR heterozygous males of various ages weres studied. Normotensive HanSD animals (the same genetic background without Ren-2 gene) were used as controls. Three complex studies were performed: Study 1: Chronic inhibition of CYP with non-selective inhibitors 1- aminobenzotriazol (ABT) and CoCl2 in young prehypertensive and adult hypertensive animals and respective controls. Study 2: Acute experiments with selective inhibitors N-metyl-sulfonyl- 12,12-dibromododec-11- enamide (DDMS) and N-metylsulfonyl-6-(2- propargyloxyfenyl)-hexamide MS-PPOH. Study 3: Chronic selective inhibition of 20-HETE production by DDMS and selective inhibition of EETs...

Capillary electrophoresis of flavonoids and phytopharmaceuticals
Novotná, Martina ; Pospíšilová, Marie (advisor) ; Jokl, Vladimír (referee)
A method based on capilllary zone electrophoresis (CZE) with UV detection was developed for simultaneous separation and determination of bioflavonoids hesperidin and diosmin. The analysis was performed in a fused silica capillary with effective lenght 60 cm and 50 μm I.D. UV detection was used at 207 nm. The optimum separation conditions were found out in this work. Samples were loaded hydrodynamically at a pressure of 50 mbar for 20 s. The background electrolyte consisted of 10 mM phosphate, 40 mM borate buffer with 10% MeOH, 15 mM -CD (pH* 8,0) at 25 řC. The separation voltage was +20 kV. Methylparaben was chosen as an internal standard. The calibration dependences were rectilinear in the range from 0,025 to 0,4 mg/ml for hesperidin (R=0,9973) and from 0,05 to 0,8 mg/ml for diosmin (R=0,9987). The single analysis took about 15 min. The method was suitable for determining the bioflavonoids in pharmaceutical preparation Detralex capsules with RSD values 2.4 % (diosmin) and 3.1 % (hesperidin), n=6. The recoveries were from 93,09 to 102,30 % as found by the standard addition technique.
