Development and quality of institutions in North and South Korea

The first, theoretical part of this bachelor thesis, focuses on theory of institutions and in this sence it offers different institutional approaches and sums up main contributions of economists and schools of economic thought in the sphere of institutions. Second, analytical part, describes development of institutions in North and South Korea in order to demonstrate a connection between the quality of institutions and economic performance. It analyses institutional development in Korea before Japanese occupation, during this occupation and consequently development in Republic of Korea and in Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Finally, this bachelor thesis describes current character of institutions in these two states.

Effective recruitment selection and adaptation of sales representatives

This bachelor thesis has been focused on sales representatives recruitment selection and their following adaptation. There are clear determined and linked activities which precede recruitment and adaptation process. Without these activities it is not possible to carry out complex recruitment process. Attention is paid to a job analysis process, which is followed by a job description forming. The chapter, which is aimed to the theory of competencies and competency model, is an important part of this thesis. If recruitment selection is well realized and the selected candidate accepts job offer and joins the position, adaptation process of a new employee will follow. Adaptation is an important period when manager of the new employee plays very significant role. These bachalor's theses focuses on evaluation process of employees according to the practice of management by objectives. The theses consist of two parts. The first one, theoretical part contains not only the theorie of employee evaluation process but also a general approximation of the practice of MBO and its implementation into the evaluation processes. The practical part describes, analyses and estimates the evaluation process in Accenture company in the department that offers outsourcing services. The aim of the theses is to sum up the applicability of the evaluation process according MBO of employees on the different hierarchic level of the company. On the basis of the identified results to find out whether is the practice for the company suitable or not.

Lifelong learning: diagnostics

The present thesis attempts to find a general model for tailerod education of adults. The author start s off by defining the recipients in the current education landscape. Thereafter, he provides a comprehensive overview of both well- and less-known typologies (MBTI, Keirsey, Kolb, LS). Based on a critical assessment of the instruments in view of their appropriateness for the categorization in lifelong learning, the author concludes that the existing approaches, while offering valuable insight, may be less than optimal for the education of adults, the reason being the complexity of application. The thesis concludes with a proposed approach drawing on Jung's personality theory, outlining a general method for the education in differentiated groups that could prove useful. The thesis can serve as either a starting point for further empirical research to validate the practical approach towards the differentiated groups determined with the empiricaltheoretical model, or as a guide for junior practitioners.

Relationship between growth of indebtedness and inflation

The subject of this work is account of connection between indebtedness and inflation, tries to explain interactions and influences which effects on both values and influence them. Attention will be concentrated on influence of monetary measure to offer of inside money and then to total level of indebtedness. Nevertheless the rate of indebtedness loses feedforward to loanable funds market because of fractional banking system whereas accumulative dimension of credit increases risk that debts will not be refunded. In connection Austrian theory of cycle will be discussed likewise influence credit expansion with inflation and with economic growth assigned economy.

Drawing on experience in teaching grammar gained in French primary and secondary schools

This thesis attempts to design activities enriching the author's teaching practice when working with adult learners from elementary to intermediate level. It studies grammar practice in theory and defines its objective. It identifies the criteria contributing to successful grammar practice and offers a classification o f grammar practice activities. The background theory provides guidelines for assessing French learners' problems observed when participating in Comenius project in France. Czech learners' reactions to the given grammatical features are anticipated. Activities suitable for author's own teaching practice attempting to solve the problem are suggested. Competition in the Aviation Market

The thesis titled Competition in the Aviation Market contains issues of competition in the market for passenger air transport services in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the major airlines operating in the market of scheduled air transport, particularly on Czech Airlines and Travel Service. These airlines are engaged in their introduction, description of their services, the development of selected indicators and SWOT analysis. For Czech Airlines characterizes cooperation with Asian airline, Korean Air. The thesis also describes the competition from other perspectives as well as major trends in air transport. The theoretical part of thesis includes explanations of basic terms of the solved problem, namely the introduction of air transportation, airlines and theories in the field of competition. Own works will contain a description of specific airlines, analyzing their offers, the development of the main indicators, SWOT analysis and trends in air transportation. The final section is devoted to the evaluation of the results.

The Institution Of Leisure Activities Youth Up To 18 Years Old

This bachelor thesis is focused on an institution of spending leisure time of youth up to 18 years. The theoretical part, firstly, sets out terms, like teenagers and factors. The first describes every phase of a child's age, and the second an influence on child's upbringing. Next, the thesis defines the function of upbringing and it's method, which also includes negative factors influencing leisure time. A certain scope is dedicated to the function and participants of teenager's leisure time, who are integral constituents. The description of nonprofit organizations of spending leisure time of youth, which one can also encounter, is also included in this part. The theoretical part is concluded by funding these institutions, and by possibility to get grants and funds. At beginning, the practical part deals with characteristics of Municipal part Prague 3, the it concentrates on "Dům dětí a mládeže Praha 3- Ulita". The institution is examined by Bronislaw Malinowski's analysis, which was published in his book "A Scientific Theory of Culture and Others Essays". The analysis survey if the institution has enough space for organizing its activities, if the offer of activities is sufficient, if the staff is qualified, and if they have sufficient resources for their activities. The aim of this thesis is to find out whether the institution performs its mission according to its purpose and in accordance with law.

Analysis of Cross-border Mergers on the Czech Market in the Period 2018-2015

This Master's thesis concerns cross-border mergers on the Czech market. The aim of the thesis is to identify their main trends. Though the theory of both cross-border and domestic mergers is mentioned, the emphasis is placed on the analytical part. The analysis is based on real life data of mergers which were realized from 2008 till 2015 and in which a Czech company took part. The research focuses on the development of quantity and type of cross-border mergers whose project was filed in the public register, quantity of finished mergers, number of participating companies and the country under whose legal system the participating companies operate, the position of Czech companies, ownership structure of participating companies, their legal form, reasons for realization of mergers, exchange ratio, decisive day assessment in relation with the balance sheet date and processing time of a cross-border merger.
