Geographical Aspects of the Development and Distribution of Collective Sports: Change of Pattern
Holenda, Antonín ; Tomeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Novotný, Josef (referee)
5 Abstract The thesis aims to geographical aspects of development and distribution of selected collective sports. For further analysis we selected football, basketball and tennis. The thesis is divided to two separate parts: theoretical and practical. The sport geography and the theoretical attitude, from which results the sport geography, are introduced at the beginning of the text. Another topic is an introduction of several opinions on sports spreading and their establishment in the society. Because the main aim of the thesis is to overcome simplified viewpoint of sport as the globalization tool, we also pay attention to sport globalization. In the following practical part we consecutively introduce five historical periods and depict the process of diffusion and changes in distribution of sport clubs and tennis tournaments in selected European countries. In the following analytical section we investigate the contemporary formula for geographical distribution of selected sports using the elementary statistical analysis of data acquiring and quadrant charts. The main aim of the practical part is approving the variability of spreading for different sports in different countries and confirming the importance of historical consequences regardless of contemporary globalization tendencies. The results bring us...

Formation and evolution of dynamical binaries
Pavlík, Václav ; Šubr, Ladislav (advisor) ; Heyrovský, David (referee)
The aim of this work is the study of hard binary stars in the star cluster and their time of life before they crossed the energetic boundary, which separates the soft and hard binaries. We used our own method of identification of binary stars within the model of star cluster which is based on the given positions, velocities and masses of stars. This method uses three main criteria -- the proximity of two stars, the time that this pair was found together and negative total energy. The results that we obtained using our algorithm helped us to determie more precise boundary between the hard and soft binary than the analytical estimates based on the evaluation of the typical kinetic energy of the free stars within the cluster. We also studied the lifetime of the binaries before they become hard and we reached a correspondence with the results of Tanikawa et al. (2011), who studied similar topic. Due to a large set of numerical realizations, which we analysed, we got better statistics than previous works. We also found that the examined lifetime of binaries seems to be represented by exponential distribution. For better analysis of this distribution it would be necessary to use about five times higher time resolution than we worked with.

In the first part there you can find definitions of the key words such as health policy, democracy, citizen participation or public policy. It describes the key words and shows the history and their development through the last 20 years. There is also a chapter which deals with methodology. The second part describes situation of citizen participation in the Czech republic, Germany, Italy, Great Britain and Canada. It deals with citizen participation in health policy in these countries and describes their practical life. It compares countries above with the situation in the Czech republic.

Determination of Transkarbam 12 and Its Impurities Using HPLC Coupled with MS Detection
Folbrová, Jana ; Sochor, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kučera, Radim (referee)
Determination of Transkarbam 12 and Its Impurities Using HPLC Coupled with MS Detection Master paper Mgr. Jana Folbrová Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control, Heyrovského 1203, Hradec Králové This paper deals with determination of Transakrbam 12 (T 12), its three impurities ε-aminocaproic acid (Ak), ε-caprolactam (Ka) and the adduct of T 12 and Ak, and of the internal standard which was 8-aminooctanoic acid (Ao). Transkarbam 12 is a new substance which belongs to the group of accelerators of transdermal penetration. Such substances facilitate or enable the drugs passing through the skin barrier into the system circulation. Chromatographic conditions were optimised for determination of the above listed substances using HPLC coupled with MS detection. Using the direct injection MS and MS/MS spectra of all substances were taken and conditions of their detection were optimised. Chromatographic separation was achieved using Luna Phenyl-Hexyl analytical column (5 μm, 150 x 3.0 mm). Mobile phase contained water and acetonitril with 0.025 % addition of formic acid. Separation was carried out under the gradient elution with the profile 0. - 1. min 4 % acetonitrile; 1. - 25. min 4 → 55 % acetonitrile; 25. - 30. min 4 %...

Identification of Terpenoid Resins in Artworks by Gas Chromatography
Jelínek, Jan ; Beneš, Pavel (referee) ; Hrdličková Kučková, Štěpánka (advisor)
Terpenoic varnishes are used in artworks since 11th century. Their task is to protect the artworks against the adverse effects of the environment and frequently they complete the artistic page. Although synthetic varnishes are currently widely used, especially in the case of modern art, the use of natural materials is still widespread and not only in the restoration of historical paintings and polychromy. In order to prepare terpenoic varnishes, rich supply of natural resins is used (damare, mastic, copals, colophony etc.). These resins differ in their composition and therefore they have various physical properties such as fragility, solubility, and not least the various darkening of varnish. For these reasons, it is necessary to know their composition, in order to be safely removed during restoration and subsequently replaced by a varnish of the same material composition. Gas chromatography is the most widely used analytical method for determination of natural resins, using a number of derivatizing reagents. The task of this thesis was to find the best separation conditions for the identification of resins by gas chromatography combined with flame ionization detector (GC-FID).

Studies on interactions between NKR-P1D and Clrb membrane receptors
Hanč, Pavel ; Novák, Petr (advisor) ; Brdička, Tomáš (referee)
Studies on interactions between NKR-P1D and Clrb membrane receptors Interaction between murine NKR-P1D and Clrb receptors was originally described as a novel type of "MHC class-I independent missing-self recognition" and was shown to confer protection from killing by natural killer cells.[1] However, further study brought conflicting results suggesting that NKR-P1D does not binds Clrb strongly if it does at all.[2] In order to address the issues arising from these conflicting results, we have recombinantly expressed the extracellular domains of both receptors in E. coli cells and refolded the proteins in vitro. The quality of refolding was confirmed both by determining the disulphide bonding pattern using FTMS and measuring 1 H/15 N-HSQC spectra. By means of size exclusion chromatography and analytical ultracentrifuge we were unable to provide convincing results for the interaction itself. However, using SPR technique, a weak, specific, pH-dependent interaction was observed. Interaction between the proteins in solution was immobilized using chemical cross-linking technique. Three cross-linking reagents, EDC, DSG and DSS were used. The reaction mixture was separated by means of SDS-PAGE and protein bands corresponding to dimers were digested in gel. Using FT-MS we were able to find peptides from both...

Mobilization of neutral compounds by inorganic and small organic ions in capillary electrophoresis
Křížek, T. ; Martínková, E. ; Kubíčková, A. ; Hladílková, Jana ; Coufal, P. ; Heyda, J. ; Jungwirth, Pavel
The present study shows that neutral low-molecular-mass compounds that are presumed to possess zero electrophoretic mobility and are thus used as markers of electroosmotic flow in capillary electrophoresis can acquire electrophoretic mobility due to ion-specific interactions with constituents of background electrolyte. Therefore, these neutral markers, such as thiourea or dimethyl sulfoxide, can be separated in electric field and their migration order can vary depending on background electrolyte composition. This observation has some important implications for analytical and physico-chemical measurements using capillary electrophoresis because the choice of the marker-background electrolyte combination can influence the results of the measurement.
