Function of iliopsoas muscle
Kazda, Vojtěch ; Herbenová, Alena (advisor) ; Vacek, Jan (referee)
The main purpose of my study is to sum up the function of iliopsoas muscle in terms of present literary sources. The function is analyzed especially in course of the most frequent and common human activities, and also in the other activities typical for this muscle. That is why I try to analyze its activation during upright standing, walking, running and the other movements. I separately focus on the effect of psoas muscle activity to the lumbar spine, and then I mention kinesiological relationships of lumbar spine, pelvis and thigh-bones. I use these analyses for considerations about functional disorders of iliopsoas muscle, so that I suggest possibility of using these analyses in practice.

Kučmašová, Hana ; Jaklová, Martina L. (advisor) ; Sedláčková, Helena (referee)
The aim of this master thesis is to define fast fashion and fast fashion retailing, and describe specifics of their business activities with deep focus on the Czech market. The theoretical part reviews literature dealing with international strategy and management and fashion and fast fashion retailing. The empirical part then focuses on real-life business cases. In order to illustrate the behaviour of fast fashion retailers on the Czech market, a case study method is employed. The attention is narrowed on three chosen fast fashion retailers MANGO, Zara and H&M. The separate case studies on MANGO, Zara and H&M focus on retailers' presence in the Czech market. The retailers' position on the market and strategies are then compared with the aim to identify the most successful fast fashion retailer and verify whether the hypothesis that the first mover to the market gains the competitive advantage is true for the chosen fast fashion retailers in the Czech market. Further, the work tries to find possible factors of the retailers' success in the Czech market.

Health and social strokes by pacients after acute myocardial infartion.
HAVLÍČEK, Robert
The clinical hallmark of acute myocardial infarction is chest pain, typically located in the substernal region or sometimes in the epigastrium which frequently radiates to the neck, left arm and left shoulder. Anginal equivalents such as dyspnoea and epigastric discomfort may also occur. The physical findings can include diaphoresis, pale cool skin, sinus tachycardia and sometimes hypotension. The objective of my thesis is to describe the health-social overall impact. I have been interested in acute myocardial infarction problems since my first education as a rescuer. I used the method of classificatory frequency analysis of documents, comparing and analogy results each other. The main task was to show how the people live after acute myocardial infarction, if they are able to work or not. Graphical analysis shows patient{\crq}s social anamnesis, productivity, gender ratio and etc. Sample for analysis forms 109 patients, from that 16 forms employment history results, which are made separate.

Learnability principles of progressive matrices: a comparison of Czech and Roma children
Páchová, Anna ; Seidlová Málková, Gabriela (referee) ; Rendl, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the graduation theses was to describe and explain the differences between Czech and Roma children in the scope of cognitive modifiability. The second aim was to consider the progressive matrices as tools for measurement of intelligence. To evaluate the cognitive modifiability I used the pretest and retest sets of matrices chosen from the Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices and Raven's Advanced Progressive Matrices. In addition, I also designed three separate sets of matrices that were used for explanation of matrix task principles. I confirmed the learnability of these principles, i.e. the matrix task results are influenced not only by the biological factors but primarily by the cultural background. It means that matrices cannot be considered as a culture free test. The results of Czech children in pretest and retest were significantly higher than the results of Roma children (however, the differences in the retest reached the borderline of statistic significance). On the other hand, the level of improvement (defined as retest minus pretest) was higher in the group of Roma children. So, the worse results of Roma children cannot be explain due to cognitive inferiority. They seem to be associated with the socio-cultural background and with the absence of Mediated Learning Experience. The...

Analýza bankovního sektoru ve vybraných zemích východní Evropy
Křížek, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor) ; Janda, Karel (referee)
The thesis analyzes the banking sectors in selected countries of CEE region, in particular in Albania, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina and compares their development with the Czech Republic as it is CEE country with one of the most advanced banking sectors in the region. Three parts of the paper analyzing separately each of the countries are supplemented by country comparison and final conclusions. General development, development of banking sector as well as banking market and financial performance of banks are examined. As a conclusion, all the countries develop in a different way and with different starting conditions. Albania relies more on qualitative development with low absolute figures but high relative indicators with respect to the utilization of available resources. The development in Serbia is rather quantitative, in contrary to the situation in Albania. Bosnia and Herzegovina is progressing quite ambiguously also due to uncertain political situation in the country. It can be also concluded that all the three countries still have to go a long way to reach comparable level of their banking systems with the Czech Republic.
