Integration of the Child with Infantile Cerebral Paresis
Burešová, Petra ; Ortová, Marie (advisor) ; Tejmarová, Klára (referee)
The dissertation deals with issues of integration of the child with infantile cerebral paresis in kindergarten age. It is divided to VII. parts. Parts II. - IV. are dedicated to the theory, meanwhile V. and VI. parts are more practical. The theoretical part describes following circumstances - e.g. a conception of integration or inclusion, education of children with disability. Relevant attention is paid to infantile cerebral paresis. The V. part, practical one introduces the case of the girl with infantile cerebral paresis integrated in the nursery. It is based on my own experience as I have been working as her assistant, assistant of the teacher. The VI. part focuses on conditions of integration, its positive and negative points. The main aim of this essay deals with summarising conditions which lead to the success of integration. Beside some conditions of integrati on (e.g. technical, material and personal preparations), a satisfied and happy child is the best result of integration. The achievement depends on teamwork of all subjects participating in integration and luck of all circumstances involved. It is an individual process. The goal of integration should be to improve the quality of life for people with disability. The true sense of integration should be to improve the quality of lifeconditions for...

Value preferences and value transfer in school teaching for pupilsat the second degree of the basic school
Ježková, Andrea ; Prokop, Jiří (advisor) ; Mojžíšová, Jarmila (referee)
My thesis deals with value preferences and their transfer in school tutoriál by seholars at the second degree of basic school. The objective of my research was to find if in accord with the seholars of the 9th classes the values and positions of the "Educational program Basic school" are transmitted to them. The given values can be stressed in different intensity. The research should answer, if the given value is transfered more or less. Another aim was to determine the value preferences of the seholars of the 9th classes and to find, if these preferences depend on the highest achieved education of their mothers. AU values and positions which are part of my research and are included in the "Educational program Basic school" are transmitted. The values, which are important in the life of school, are transmitted during teaching more than other values and positions. In the area of value preferences of seholars I found the following sequence of values: health, family and friends. The lowest values were: political involvement and spirituál values. The value preferences depended on the highest achieved education of the mother. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Synthesis, study and structure activity relationships of antiinflammatory drugs derived from leukotriens
Junek, Richard ; Hartl, Jiří (advisor) ; Beneš, Luděk (referee) ; Kuchař, Miroslav (referee) ; Kuneš, Jiří (referee)
7 Summary A series of arylalkanoic acids derivatives bearing methyl(phenethyl)amino groups were prepared and their antileukotrienic activities involving LTB4 were evaluated. Regression analysis of the first group of derivatives of arylacetic acid has shown a strong dependence of these activities on lipophilicity for both LTB4 receptor binding and inhibition of LTB4 biosynthesis, parabolic relationships were derived. The values of slopes of the ascending linear parts of these dependences indicate various types of hydrophobic binding at the site of ligand interaction with relevant biomacromolecules. Regression analysis showed the slightly different parabolic dependences of this activity on lipophilicity of -methyl and -unsubstituted alkanoic acids derivatives. The relationship derived for -unsubstituted alkanoic acids extended by group of similar derivatives of arylacetic acids was without any change of regression coefficients and statistical criteria. It was concluded, that the most active compounds belong to 2-arylpropanoic acids derivatives with lipophilicity close to log Popt (= 6.98). The antiinflammatory effect of the compounds under study was evaluated in three animal models of inflammation and their possible utilization in the treatment of ulcerative colitis was followed. It can be stated that the...

Selected aspects of variable life insurance

The subject of this thesis is the analysis of unit linked insurance in the insurance market of Czech Republic. United linked insurance is presented as a successful combination of risks coverage and savings unit. We are talking about mixed insurance in case of death or survival exact age with single or normal insurance premium, where the size of indemnity depends on yields from investments. It is very complicated insurance product with many benefits and disadvantages. The thesis is divided into more chapters. The first chapter is devoted to determination of the concept and classification of unit linked insurance. In the second one I describe the situation and development trends in the field of unit linked insurance in Czech insurance market. Further chapters involve specific aspects and problems of the product, actual situation in regard of financial crisis and anticipated future development.

Signature of preschool children
Kociánová, Anna ; Kučera, Miloš (referee) ; Viktorová, Ida (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with signature of preschool age children. The theoretical part of the thesis attempted to answer the questions what a signature is and how it can be characterized. Personal name and script were established as two basic components of a signature and, consequently, these two phenomena were examined in detail, considered especially from the semiotic and linguistic standpoints. Signatures of preschool age children do not, however, fall within the typical categories. They differ from the cited definitions, they have some distinctive variables - unlike adults, children do not always use conventional letters and their reading of a signature depends on their particular theories about the function of the graphic symbols and the signature itself. Thus, this topic had to involve also the psychological point of view which examines closely child cognition. Three foreign theories on this subject were introduced, specifically the explorations of E. Ferreiro (1982), G. Hildreth (1936) and M. R. Honey (2002). All the studies consider developmental aspects of signature, its developmental continuity and some of them suggest further use of the acquired data for pedagogical and psychological purposes.

Title: The Analysis of the Triad Football Tennis Championship Focused on Laterality Aim of thesis: Analysing of the individual play aktivity in term of the preference of the legs depending on laterality of the players Methods: - videorecords - match observation - analysis of the literature - laterality testing Results: - The rule modification to one-impact game has not brought any important change with view of the leg preference. - A lower numer of the players are involved of the forward activity in the one- impact game - The one-impact game does not force the players to use the undominant leg more frequently. Keywords: - football tennis - one-impact and two impact game system - laterality, Pateral laterality - pitcher, smasher, defender, picker - individual play activity 6

Using biotechnological methods in beef cattle herds
ZATLOUKAL, Jakub
The aim of this dissertation consists in analysing the results of the biotechnological techniques (insemination, embryotransfer) for a selected herd of meat-type cattle raised in a foothills countryside dutiny 5 years (2002 {--} 2006) and their comparison with natural breeding. The results this obtained are presented in dependence on the breed, fater{\crq}s origin and calving month. The analysis involves 795 Charolais calves and 450 meat-type Siemental calves. In the Charolais group insemination gave 275 calves, while natural breeding gave 520 calves. In the case of meat-type Siemental group the corresponding numbers are 179 and 271, accordingly. After embryotranfer we have got 4 Charolais calves and 15 calves of the other breed. The work evaluates the influence of the technique of breeding on to the rate of calf grow, with this investigation being performed in dependence on the breed. The meat-type Siemental bulls have shown a significant difference (p {>} 0,05) in the live weight of the calves 120 and 365 days old. In this age bulls born after insemination have been heavier (183,9 kg, 527,9 kg) in comparison with bulls born after natural breeding (172,4 kg, 497,0 kg). Concerming Charolais bulls, no statistically significant difference in the live weight have been found. In addition, no significant influence of the mode of breeding on to the live weight has been found for heifers of both breeds. Concerning the effect of the calving month on the rate of grow, the meat-type Siemntal calves have shown a highly statistically significant (p {>} 0,001) difference in the live weight of calves born in March. The live weights of calves born in March and weighed at 120, 210 and 365 days have been 181,17 kg, 289,2 kg and 510,31 kg, these values being valid for calves after insemination. The corresponding values for natural breeding are lower, particularly 168,26 kg, 271,37 kg and 439,59 kg. In addition a statistically considerable difference (p {>} 0,01) in the live weight has been found for calves 120 days old if the calves were born in April. Insemination has led to a live weight of 194,5 kg, while natural breeding to 168,9 kg. In the group of Charolais calves a statistically significant difference (p {>} 0,01 {--} 0,05) has been found at the age of 365 days. Calves born after insemination had a higher live weight (462,85 kg) as compared to those born after natural breeding (432,85 kg). As concerns the parameters characterising fertility, the following ones have been analysed: the service period (SP), the birth-to-birth interval and the percentage of becoming pregnanat after the first insemination. For the whole period under investigation, the SP value for the Charolais calves (T 100) has been 89,19 days while for the meat-type Siemental calves (S 100) 80,04 days. As concerns the birth-to-birth period found for Charolais (381,32 days) and the meat-type Siemental (390,35 days), it may be stated that these results are satisfactory. The percentage of becoming pregnant after the first insemination has shown a downword trend for both breeds in the course of the years under study. Investigated paramentrs of growth and reproduction are markedly influenced by the breed.

A Case Study on Group Homes
Muralidharan, Geetha ; Šiška, Jan (advisor) ; Strnadová, Iva (referee)
This case study is on community based alternatives namely group homes for people with intellectual disabilities in Czech Republic. It focuses on 2 different service providers namely the social workers and specialist in the field of disabilities and the parents who wanted to provide their wards a good living condition for the rest of their life. This qualitative cum quantitative study has used interview, observation and standardized choice questionnaire (Stancliff and Parmenter, 1999) as the tools for data collection. The study involved people with intellectual disabilities (mild and moderate) who lived in the group homes and one staff from each group home. Because of the time constrain and language barrier all the stake holders could not be involved. The findings showed that both the settings were unique in their own way and they proved to be a good model for a group home, where the welfare of the residents were given priority and all the plans were worked around the residents irrespective of their ability and involvement. Efforts were made not to minimize assistance, but rather to minimize the creation of dependence. Both the group homes followed the principle of normalisation and advocated the maximization of individual's abilities and choices. This study was carried out keeping in mind how similar kind...
