Vector Analysis in GIS Systems
Životský, Tomáš ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the geographic information systems   with an emphasis on so - called vector analysis . The aim of the thesis is to create a library that implements the internal representation   of geographic data and performs analytical operation over them .  The thesis describes the logical structure of the application and the hierarchy of abstract classes . In the form of pseudo -code is shown a set of individual computing operations . Work is strongly based on geographic system GRASS. This GIS is connectable through  import and export vector data in shapefile format. Concept of   storing layers is designed for ease of data manipulation and  their portability . The main idea behind the application is to split the library into individual modules . These modules are  independent , but also can benefit from each other's functions . In conclusion are demonstrated implemented vector analysis and  representation of their calculation .

Thesis deals with manipulation, archiving and viewing of 3D data. Theoretic part contains basic introduction to the field. Practical part of the thesis is design and implementation of the library for viewing 3D data and viewer / editor using this library. Library is written in c++ computer language and it’s intended to be used as a dynamic linked library, which functionality can be easily enhanced with additional plug-in modules without need to modify the source code of the library. Actual viewing is not tied to any specific type of graphical API, library can be extended with plug-in for rendering using any software or hardware. Part of the implementation is plug-in for rendering 3D data using OpenGL interface.

Centralised web-based personal data management system
Mazur, Kornel ; Kacálek, Jan (referee) ; Malý, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a central user identification and personal data management on the Internet. The first part analyzes questions of a identification process and discusses the requirements for implementation, security and user-friendliness. Subsequently, the process is designed with respect to the defined requirements. A detailed overview of possible attacks to the system and means of protection against them is also included in the thesis. The described methods are as follows: Phishing, Man in the middle, hardware modification and acoustic keypress emissions. A practical design of a identification system is discussed in the second part of the thesis. It consists of two parts: a library implementable to individual Internet services requiring a user identification and a server centrally identificating the users and storing their personal data and passwords. An implementation in Joomla content management system is also described.

Administration of development documetation over WWW I
Kolář, Miroslav ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
Master`s thesis is based on the assignment of company Honeywell to create integral system for saving and management of development documentation. Designed system will introduce data warehouse with transparent display of documents being connected with development of customer’s requirements, products and tests, test runs. Solution consists of two parts: A – Requirements and Products and B – Tests, Test runs and Person, whereas Master`s thesis deals with the part B. For system creation utilities of following programming languages were used HTML, PHP, JavaScript and database system MySQL. In the first phase was designed database structure (tables and relations between them). Except that was designed structure for authorization algorithm and integral concept of whole application was created. The second phase is realization. At first are created supporting algorithms. It is servicing database by functions, uniform displaying results from database and authorized access of users to the application. Further data library for integral display data forms, based on used template system Smarty and other libraries, f.e. attribution of the files to records in SQL tables. Important part was implementation of designed database system and related programs. In Tests and Test runs there is user interface established and individual relations between them. According to assignment all fundamental programs were designed together with support instruments. Individual source files are saved in transparent structure of folders, so this structure is possible to apply on any computer, where are installed programs to web hosting. The result of Master`s thesis is then integrated progress report together with functional source codes.

City Library of Přerov
Ptačin, Ján ; Uhlíř, Petr (referee) ; Ruller, Ivan (advisor)
The new public library building needs to meet a lot of diverse demands. It has to be developed in conjunction with librarian's needs, it has to react on existing urban conditions and it needs to be self-defining and future oriented, so it will be able to cope with radical changes in the communications we experience nowadays. Our proposition is a reaction to the impulses of the site combined with our view of what a new library should represent. It is: communication, interaction, inspiration. We try to eliminate negative aspects of the selected site and on the other hand, use and develop existing potential. The building tries to terminate the big crossroads next to the site and on the contrary to create a nice quiet public space with the church. It also wants to be a new landmark and icon of the town. The solution we found is based on two main principles. A fence. And a hill. Fence as a guard and prevention from crossroads, as a closure of the urban block and public space with green and church building inside, as a boarder with the industrial part of the town, as a show-off wall, a allure to the world of wisdom and quiet public space behind... It is represented by double glass facade along the border of the site. Hill as an activator of the site, as an icon and a brand of the place, as a second hill in whole town, as an island and oasis, as a place for sport, play, as an open public reading room, as a natural amphitheatre... It consists of a simple green roof raising from the church towards the sky, covering the library buiding.

Logging from an application written in the Java programming language
Hanzel, Matej ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Černý, Michael (referee)
This bachelor's thesis explores problems of logging from an application written in the Java programming language. The introduction expressed the idea of the necessity of obtaining relevant data directly from an entity which represents the originator of a problematic situation solved later through various thinking operations. The thesis describes not only the inclusion of the concept of term logging in the general context of term process, but is particularly devoted to the logging architecture in object-oriented programming languages. The greatest attention is paid to the description of logging facades Simple Logging Facade for Java and Apache Commons Logging, and the logging libraries Java Util Logging, Log4J and LOGBack, further complemented by the practical implementation of their use in Java applications. The author of this thesis holds the view that it is not possible to express a clear and generalized opinion on using one specific logging library exclusively despite the absence of significant differences between them. It is important to carefully consider the requirements demanded and select the most appropriate solution that best suits each situation.
