Systematic education in the organization in conditions of team cooperation
Prchalová, Hana ; Tureckiová, Michaela (advisor) ; Froněk, Jan (referee)
Team work, cooperation inside the teams and among the teams - that is the aim for a lot of companies nowadays and in future. However there have been already some companies in which team work has become reality. My bachelor thesis summarizes the experience of middle-sized company in which team cooperation was established almost in all parts of the firm. Firm/corporate education encourages team cooperation among people and on the other hand team cooperation supports the people's interest to educate and to reach personal growth. The key terms "systematic education" and "team cooperation" are defined in the first chapter of presented thesis with the definition of terms. The second 5 chapter defines the position of education in the management system of a company. The third one briefly describes the manufacturing firm which has been chosen for my thesis, and the fourth contains the analytical part. The particular experience during implementation of the system of education in the conditions of team cooperation is introduced in the next chapter. Final part deals with the overall experience and defines the particular suggestions of remedy in other development of education in that company.

Cellular characteristics (pigment and nutrient content, cell size) indicated synchronization of algal population, furthermore pronounced variations in the aktivity of variable fluorescence, thermoluminescence and in the gene expression (rbcL, psbA, fcp) were observed

Theoretical Dependence of Temperature of Burning Coal and Wood Particles on Conditions of Fluidized bed combustion
Svoboda, Karel
The report brings presentation and solution of two theoretical models for estimation of temperature of burning particles of low-ash coals (smaller particles) and high ash coals with particles above 1 mm in fluidized bed combustion. The attention is focused mainly on effects of fluidized bed temperature, operating pressure and size of particles on difference between fluidized bed (bulk) and burning particle temperature.

The aim of our study was to evaluate the severity of hepatic and kidney damage retrospectively in the years between 2000 and 2004 with a focus on their reversibility, and to analyse the prognostic factors following Amanita phalloides (Am. ph., mainly hepatotoxic agent) and ethylene glycol (EG, nephrotoxic liquid) based on the calls made to the Czech Toxicological Information Centre and analyses made by toxicological laboratories. Analysis relied on data from medical records. A variety of clinical and laboratory parameters were collected. Fisher's test, Student's t-test and the calculation of linear correlation coefficients were used for statistical analysis. Twenty-four of 206 case-patients with EG intoxication were children. Fifty of 158 adult patients who survived, developed signs of nephrotoxicity. In 19 patients renal function normalized up to one month following the intoxication. Total 21 patients were followed-up as out-patients. Renal function completely recovered in 13 patients during 6 months and in three patients during 8-24 moths following the intoxication. The serum creatinine level was only mild elevated (119 |imol/l) in other two patients. However, their follow-up finished. In three patients renal damage persisted, serum creatinine level 138-200 (imol/1, in 19-26 months after discharge from...

The plan of the municipality population evacuation focused on flood
KUBÁTOVÁ, Michaela
The topic of my bachelor thesis is {\clqq}The Plan of Evacuation of the Local Population Focused on Floods{\crqq}. This issue was elaborated for specific conditions of the administrative district of the municipality with extended powers of the town Soběslav. At the present time, there is a lack of legal framework for elaborating evacuation plans from witch single bodies of local administration could proceed when elaborating evacuation plans of local population on specific conditions of single municipalities. At the beginning of my bachelor thesis, I summarized the theoretical basis for elaboration of evacuation plans of local population focused on floods. In doing so, I drew on legal orders regulating the area of protection of population in case of extraordinary accidents and critical situations. Particular findings for proposal to an evacuation plan of local population were obtained partly from information on the course of floods in 2002 and 2006 in the area of the administrative district of the municipality with extended powers of the town Soběslav and partly from experience of single bodies involved, particularly from flood commission. On the basis of the analysis of these sources, I connected information on the course of flood situation with demands on material and technical provision following from the structure and number of population living in the flood area of the town Soběslav. The result of this procedure is a proposal to increase of efficiency of evacuation process which, in my opinion, could by achieved by placing evacuating and receiving centres in one building. I also believed that by thus an uncoordinated process of evacuation could be prevented and time dwells in its course could by minimized. The proposal involves particular information and data on information, order, medical, and transport provision of the evacuation and on option for emergency lodging and boarding. I particularly tried to propose a plan of evacuation of population that would by clear and well arranged, and fully meet local condition of the town Soběslav. I also suppose its possible use by the Department of Environment of the municipal office of Soběslav as one part of the basis when specifying and updating the current plan of local population or the town Soběslav during flood. Besides I attempted to deduce some generally true rules for elaborating evacuation plans that could be a guide for elaboration of evacuation plans of local population of all municipalities in danger of floods.

Stabilita vitamínů ve směsích pro parenterální výživu
Khýnová, Lucie ; Solich, Petr (advisor) ; Nováková, Lucie (referee)
Parenteral Nutrition (PN) is an alternative method of providing nutritional support for patients via the intravenous route. Patients selected for PN are malnourished patients or patients who have the potential to become malnourished. PN admixtures consist of fats, carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, trace elements, electrolytes and fluids. Vitamins are believed to be among the least stable ingredients in PN mixtures and should be added immediately before commencing infusion. The purpose of this thesis is to obtain information on stability of the vitamins in PN admixtures depending on different storage conditions and different time. Water-soluble vitamins and fat-soluble vitamins were investigated in the mixture of Kabiven® Bag (Fresenius Kabi) with Vitlipid® N (fat-soluble vitamins) and Solvitio® N water-soluble vitamins) Adult Injections. There were prepared 6 Bags altogether, three with addition of trace elements contained in Additrace® concentrate and three Bags without trace elements. Assessing the chemical and physical stability was carried out after: zero time, 7, 14 and 29 days in a refrigerator followed by 24 hours and 48 hours storage at ambient temperature and day-light protected. Physical tests include pH, osmolality, microscopy and particle size determination by laser diffraction....

Project Draft Business Intelligence
Šídlo, Petr ; Jelínek, Jiří (advisor) ; Novotný, Jan (referee)
This dissertation titled Designing Project Business Intelligence focuses on data warehouse in a medium-sized company. The theoretical portion of the thesis describes the topic of data warehouse and dimensional modeling. In the first theoretical chapter, I compare and contrast two approaches to datawarehouse building - Bill Inmon's and Ralph Kimball's. Then, basic terminology used in the field, principles of dimensional modeling and various approaches of database use will be described. Furthermore, the thesis illustrates the role of the Mondrian system as a mediator between the relational database and the OLAP server. Possible uses of the MDX language in working with multidimensional databases are outlined. The theoretical portion of the thesis ends with a description of the applicational interface XMLA, which can be used for facilitation communication between applications and the OLAP server. The practice-oriented portion of the thesis includes a complete design of the Business Intelligence project. The project is divided into the following parts: Feasibility Study, Project Planing, Business Requirements, Design and Development, and Deployment and Maintenance. The entire project operates exclusively on Open Source Software. Consequently, the project shows that small and medium-sized companies can afford to run a fully operating Business Intelligence system.

Selection and application of software development methodology which is suitable for analytical and development micro team
Pospíšil, Václav ; Kubíček, Jovan (advisor) ; Exnarová, Anna (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to explore the possibilities of software development methodology application on a project developed by a very small team. Three types of methodologies will be described subsequently - Extreme Programming, Select Perspective a Rational Unified Process. Each methodology will be applied on the real project, in given real conditions. The most appropriate methodology will be chosen and demonstrated on the real project of the software platform for e-commerces -- from the stage of inception to the stage of elaboration. Choosing of a methodology and its suitability is influenced mostly by the size of the development team where supposed tasks have to be fulfilled by only two employees. The given methodology will be judged, evaluated and modified for the needs of development micro teams. The way of modification will be described at the end of this thesis.

The structure of household expenditure with regard to their income situation
Babáková, Andrea ; Bína, Vladislav (advisor) ; Bartošová, Jitka (referee)
Presented thesis is focused on searching for differences and investigating dependences between costs and revenues of households, mainly the housing expenditure are emphasized. The data were extracted from survey made by Czech Statistics Office, especially from sample survey about revenues and living conditions of households called "Životní podmínky 2005". The data are analyzed by means of linear regression and analysis of variance. The above mentioned statistical methods are used to investigate the level of dependence between incomes and housing costs with regard to various factors e.g. size and type of municipality or the type of house in which the particular household is living. The obtained results display slightly growing dependence between incomes and revenues. Furthermore a small survey of the particular households was made on which the selected linear regression model (obtained by the analysis of ČSÚ data) was applied. The comparison of both surveys showed rather insignificant differences.
