Vliv společného zemědělského trhu EU na český trh s mlékem a mléčnými produkty
Konvalinová, Vendula
This bachelor thesis deals with the effects of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy on Czech market in milk and milk products. Causal relations between agricultural producer prices of raw cow's milk in the Czech Republic, in Bavaria and in the Slovak Republic are investigated by using a VAR model. The Granger causality is also verified between different kinds of milk and butter prices in the Czech Republic. For the amount of purchased milk into the dairies in the Czech Republic are created forecasts based on a SARIMA model. All the time series are processed for the period from January 2008 to December 2013 and properly characterized.

Subsequently, the basic principles of crisis management in health service are defined. The core part of this work deals with specific conditions of the Plzeň Region, unveils the basic features of the crisis plan of this region, as well as analyses the traumatological plan of the Plzeň Region and verifies its effectiveness. The work ends with the assessment of the standard of crisis management in the territory of the Plzeň Region.

Selected alternative medical approaches opinions of University of South Bohemia's students
PECHOVÁ, Nikola
The term alternative medicine alone is very problematic to define, since it is not easy to tell, which methods should be included within its boundaries and which should not. This issue has its fans as well as sworn criticizers. We are coming across it more and more often in our daily lifes and it is only up to people, whether they will prefer this kind of medicine, or the conventional one. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to describe some chosen methods of alternative medicine, as well as the alternative medicine alone. Other aim was to verify hypothesis that is connected to greater criticism of students of healthcare programs towards mentioned type of medicine. Yet another assumption was the familiarity of the students of the University of South Bohemia with at least one of its methods. Questionnaire took place in the period between the end of March and slightly below the half of April. Dataset contained information from 190 respondents. The group under investigation was composed of students of Faculty of Health and Social sciences, Education and Faculty of Economics. Other respondents were united under the name Others. The evaluation of the questionnaire has shown, that students of health programs are not as critical towards the alternative medicine as I supposed. Moreover, the hypothesis claiming that students are familiar with at least one of the methods of alternative medicine was confirmed.

Numerical Solution of a Fredholm Integral Equation of the Second Kind Related to Induction Heating
Rak, Josef ; Kofroň, Josef (advisor) ; Feistauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Sváček, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with numerical solution of an integral equation of the second kind with special singular kernel function related to induction heating. The numerical solution is based on collocation and Nyström methods. The idea of collocation methods is to choose a finite-dimensional space of candidate solutions (usually polynomials up to a certain degree). The Nyström methods are based on approximation of the integral in equation by numerical integration rule. This thesis describes and gives error estimates of both methods. Error estimates are compared to the exact solutions in simple cases.

X-ray investigation of defects in graded SiGe/Si thin layers
Endres, Jan ; Daniš, Stanislav (advisor) ; Holý, Václav (referee)
The goal of presented work is a study of defects in graded Si1xGex/Si thin layers. Misfit dislocations are dominant type of defects in this kind of layers. Diffuse scattering of radiation, which is caused by the presence of defects, was measured with high-resolution diffractometer. Misfit dislocations arrangement in the layers was determined from measured reciprocal space maps. Misfit dislocations distribution is discussed within the scope of two models. Equilibrium one, which is based on energy minimization, and kinetic one, which considers thermally activated movement of dislocations. Measured reciprocal space maps were compared with simulations, which were realized via kinematic theory of X-ray radiation scattering.

Suggestion and realization of Thermo-electric stimulator for quantitative estimation of thermal threshold in patients
Hykel, Jan ; Hozman, Jiří (advisor) ; Špunda, Miloslav (referee)
The sensory disorders are one of the main symptoms of the neuropathy. Examination and estimation of the level of the Neuropathic disease is main target of the comprehensive examination method "Quantitative sensory testing". One part of this group of tests is Quantitative estimation of thermal thresholds. This method is based on the special device called "Thermo-electric Stimulator" (TES). The main aim of this thesis is to design and develop this kind of device and accomplish some functional tests with that device. Values acquired from this testing are important for comparison with values acquired from the relevant studies. The TES was designed in basic configuration necessary for the right and complete examination of the thermal thresholds. The comparison wasn't exhaustive but values acquired by the thermoelectric stimulator are commonly corresponding with hypothetic values. Last but not least target of this thesis is to bring in some suggestions of possible upgrades to automatize thermal threshold estimation procedure or make some possible suggestion of alternative design of the Thermoelectric Stimulator.

A light source with ligh emmiting diode
Novák, Matyáš ; Mojrová, Barbora (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work starts with the basic description of function of light-emitting diode. It also describes the basic techniques of design of cooling housings for power LEDs and possibility of heat removal. In the theoretical part of this work is also described the possibility of heat dissipation regulating and the possibility of the power sources for LEDs. The practical part includes description of LED light source design and construction, using knowledge about cooling and power from theoretical part. The light source is designed for different kinds of power supplies for maximum flexibility of usage.

Influence of education and work environment on selection and view on different kinds of physiotherapy methods used in therapy of sclerosis multiplex
Miškovská, Anna ; Řasová, Kamila (advisor) ; Honců, Pavla (referee)
Objective of this thesis was verifying an influence of education and work environment on selection and view on different kinds of physiotherapy methods. It was compared diference between three units : students of 2.LF UK , 3.LF UK and experienced physioterapists, used a special anonymous questionnaire taken from PhDr.Kamila Řasová, PhD.(partly supplemented by other methods). There were 5 methods included in the research. Vojta's method ,Perfetti method, PNF method, psychomotor stimulation and Bobath. The student's results showed that views were similar only in two methods, PNF and Vojta's method. For the other methods statistically signifiant diference was found. A hypothesis of influence for education were confirmed by the results. Views of physioterapist with long experience could not be compared due to the low number of respondents from KRL Motol. The difference of view has been studied between students of 3.LF UK and physioterapist from FNKV too. There was found significant difference between students theoretical knowledges and practical experience of physioterapist.

The specifics of the female communication (from the material of disscussion websistes)
Čiháková, Sandra ; Chejnová, Pavla (referee) ; Janovec, Ladislav (advisor)
Résumé This thesis is dedicated to the reserch and analysis of electronical communication, which proceeds on a website, primary designed for women and used by women. The task of this research is to define and desribe the behaviour and the development of the communication between the users and also to describe the features typicall for this kind of communication. The website, from which are the insertions and illustrations taken, is called www.beremese.cz and it is oriented on the wedding thematic. The definition of the room, in which the users communicate, was taken over from the text of Eva Jandova/b (see the list of used texts). The purpose of this thesis is to narrowly document and analyse the diagram of communication between the female users of this website, during which time the special attention belongs to the semantic level of all analysed conversations. Because the data, which the users during the communication offer, can not be verified, the users can not be classified due to their social status in the "real world", but only due to their status in the space of the electronical communication. The thesis thereupon abides by the datas which are mentioned on the website www.beremese.cz, whereas those are neither verified nor do they have any bigger importance for this thesis. Only the data, which were...
