Juhani Aho and the analysis of his work "Alone"

tvorby Juhaniho Aha- především analýza jeho prózy Osamělý. Z Ahova pestrého životopisu je patrné, že ke své spisovatelské a novinářské dráze směřoval již od útlého mládí. Tento plodný autor se ve své tvorbě věnoval rozličným otázkám a tématům z nejrůznějších sfér lidského bytí a nahlížel je svým osobitým pohledem. Vedle toho je rovněž zajímavé, že Juhani Aho obsáhl svým vývojem několik uměleckých směrů - realismus, náznaky naturalismu, francouzské introspektivní proudy, novoromantismus a novorealismus. Primárním záměrem této práce byl již zmiňovaný rozbor díla Osamělý, na jehož základě jsem dospěla k podnětným závěrům. Úvodem své diplomové práce jsem považovala za nutné vyřešit nejprve dilema týkající se jednak autobiografičnosti zmiňované prózy, jednak jejího žánrového zařazení. V prvním případě jsem se na Ahovo dílo pokusila aplikovat poznatky francouzského literárního vědce Philippa Lejeuna a dospěla jsem k závěru, že prózu Osamělý nelze v jeho pojetí označovat jako čistou autobiografii. V souvislosti s žánrovým označením díla jsem se rozhodla vycházet z finské poetiky a na prózu Osamělý odkazovat termínem pienoisromaani - "malý román". Španělsko-mexické vztahy připomínaly po celé období revoluce houpačku. Nejprve tady byl Porfirio Díaz, který měl se Španěly výborné vztahy, stejně jako s dalšími cizinci o které se opírala jeho ekonomika. Francisco I. !vladero nebyl oblíbencem španělské politiky, ani jejího reprezentanta Cológana, který se podílel na jeho svržení. Přesto udělali Španělé vstřícný krok, že jej uznali, jako prezidenta !vlexika, ovšem to bylo všechno. Po Maderovi nastoupil Victoriano Huerta, který naplnil Španěly nadějí na návrat starých dobrých časů dona Porfrria. Dokázal to tak intenzivně, že zatímco Španělsko neustále stálo za Huertou, ostatní státy světa od podpory jeho režimu upustily. !vlezi Villou a Carranzou se nedokázali dlouho rozhodnout, nakonec podpořili vítěze, který si je získal i tím, že počítal s náhradou španělského majetku. Po jeho smrti se už na dobrých vztazích nic nezměnilo. Vyvrcholení dobrého vztahu se událo za vlády Cárdenase, který spolupracoval se Španělskou republikou. Když byla rozvrácena, ochotně poskytl azyl mnoha uprchlíkům. Řada autorů si v pracích o Španělské kolonii během Mexické revoluce pokládá zásadní otázku. Zda byla hispanofobní nebo xenofobní. Web support of conference holding (presentation, registration etc.)

This thesis deals with web support of conference holding and its main focus is to create an application which meets the requirements specified by the work co-ordinator and which supports certain processes in conference holding. In the first chapter you can find the brief history of World Wide Web and of conference holding systems. It covers different options using which these systems can ease and improve conference holding from both holder's and participant's perspective. The next three chapters provide a brief description of the application followed by a summary of used technologies and take a look at the functional side of the application. The user's guide of the application forms the most extensive part of the thesis. The last chapter provides a brief description of two existing systems for conference management -- one of which is free and the other commercial.

eTwinning - from the Partnership to the Community for Schools in Europe

The diploma thesis focuses on a European activity eTwinning and its implementation within the system of education. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the activity and its main principles, as well as its goals and management. The emphasis is also put on its position within the conception of lifelong learning. The thesis presents the development of the activity since its lunch in 2005 until now, describes its original direction to be followed at the beginning as well as the gradual changes that happened during its further implementation. The practical part defines the main internet tools offered by eTwinning to its users and describes those in detail. In the last part, three eTwinning projects are presented as good practice examples from the Czech Republic. The main aim of the diploma thesis is to present the European activity in as broad context as possible and from different points of view. All the data used are based on relevant literature and other sources.

This work analyses using of graphic on web mainly its relations to presentation of good. First part is considered on area of web design which describes the roles of graphics on web, suitable colours and layouts. This area analyses also relations between graphic on web and its usability and accessibility. Second part is considered on graphic formats and types of graphics used on web in presentations of the good. Last part evaluates web pages of three e-shops using several characteristics. This part includes also recommendations for analysed e-shops.

The Analysis and Comparison of the Main Women Characters in Chosen Novels Written by Jane Austen

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze and compare two novels written by Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. The first part of the thesis shortly characterizes and presents the author, her work and both of the novels. The following part concentrates on the historical and social background of the early Romantic period and it also mentions the position of women in that era. These aspects are then related to the main body of the text focusing on the comparison and analysis of the major heroines of the two novels. Last part will contain the ethical motives in both novels, which reflected both the attitude of the author, expressed in her work, and contemporary issues.

Analysis of logistic processes in e-shop

This Master's thesis focuses on chosen logistic processes of the specific e-shop. In the theoretical part, the specific environment of e-shops is described. This part also contains theoretical base for providers of courier, express and parcel services. The practical part of the thesis is divided into two parts. The first one shows ABC analysis and its suitability for the chosen entity. In the other part, sent parcels are analyzed, focusing on its structure and frequency. In the conclusion of the paper, there is an evaluation of benefits from the proceedings taken during the elaboration of this thesis.

Analysis of impact of new software distribution models on company IS/ICT management

Diplomová práce se zabývá modelem distribuce aplikační funkcionality formou služeb (SaaS ? Software as a Service), transformací trhu s IT dle tohoto modelu a dopadem těchto změn do sféry řízení podnikové informatiky. Cílem práce je co nejlépe anticipovat dopad transformace IT průmyslu právě do oblasti služeb a na základě výsledků této prognózy odvodit nejvýznamnější změny, kterými projde jak samotná podniková informatika, tak způsob jejího řízení. Popis transformace IT průmyslu je možný na základě identifikace nejzávažnějších současných problémů tohoto průmyslu a popisu těch současných trendů, které k této transformaci směřují. Změny podnikové informatiky a jejího řízení jsou popisovány na základě vývoje od doby vzniku moderních podnikových informačních systémů (tj. počátek 90. let 20. století), s tím, že je kladen důraz na ty nejzávažnější problémy integrace IT do struktury podniku a nejvýznamnější metody, které se na řešení těchto problémů uplatňovaly či uplatňují. Velký důraz je v práci kladen na korporátní důsledky těchto změn, takže každý významný diskutovaný aspekt je zkoumán mimo jiné z pohledu jeho vstřebávání trhem či samotnou organizací, a to především z hlediska porovnávání nákladů a přínosů. Přínos práce spočívá především v analýze dopadů změn trhu s IT na subjekty na trhu působící, tedy jak na nabízející tak na poptávající. Z hlediska strany nabídky jde především o sekce věnující se vzájemným vztahům mezi poskytovateli aplikačních služeb (sdružování do tzv. SaaS platforem) a také nástupu celého modelu (viz např. tabulka 4.2 na str. 41). Z hlediska poptávajících na IT trhu, tedy z hlediska řízení podnikové informatiky, je přidaná hodnota práce především v těch částech, které se věnují možnému navázání SaaS aplikací na model řízení IT služeb, a dále např. integraci SaaS aplikací z hlediska uživatele (část 6.4.6). První tři kapitoly práce se zabývají úvodem do celého konceptu poskytování aplikační funkcionality formou služeb, současnému IT průmyslu a jeho problémům a také pravděpodobnému vývoji celého tohoto nového segmentu. Další kapitoly obsahují nejprve charakteristiku současného řízení podnikové informatiky a také aplikaci výše zjištěných poznatků o SaaS modelu na podnikovou informatiku. Poslední kapitola je orientována praktičtěji a obsahuje zjednodušený popis metody definice IT služeb v podniku a tvorby katalogu služeb.

Identifying progressive trends in urban transport in Liberec, Brno, Plzen, Ostrava and Bratislava

In theoretical part concept of Smart Cities and urban mass transportation is introduced. Analysis starts with city s approach to strategic documents in transportation (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans) and their performing in compliance with Smart City concept. Integration of urban transport to integrated transport system is also analysed. Next part describes innovations which are useful for passengers and electronic ticketing systems. Goal is to identify these innovative trends and benchmark success in their introduction in chosen cities. Sources are both public (strategic documents, annual reports) and internal (data from companies).

The economic analysis of the company EYELEVEL s.r.o.

The master thesis deals with the economic analysis of the company EYELEVEL s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate economic situation of the company, to identify threats and opportunities that arise from its surrounding. On the basis of the conclusion strengths and weaknesses of the company are formulated with the recommendation in order to improve their current situation. The thesis is split into two parts, theoretical one and practical one. The theoretical part defines theoretical and methodological starting points. The principles and basic terms of the particular methods of financial analysis and the strategic analysis of the company´s surrounding were mentioned there as well. The company EYELEVEL s.r.o is for the first time introduced in the practical part. Then PEST analysis, PORTER analysis and financial analysis, the main concern of the thesis, are followed. All the results are summarize in the conclusion.
