Approaches for the modelling of heavy gas dispersion
Jaňour, Zbyněk
The report describes the basic methods of description of the flow in the boundary layer of the atmosphere and the diffusion of gases with a focus on the gas hard. The experiments are discussed briefly the problems in nature (in situ), shows the method of physical modelling and describes the mathematical models used for this problem. The report shows the structure of these models from the model for the so-called a nearby field after the models describing the far field. It follows so-called operational models, whose advantage is the relative simplicity, speed of getting results and attempts to type the description of the effects of topography, resources, etc. and are given their shortcomings. The following are introduced so called CFD models that are used for the marginal layer of the atmosphere. Part of the models is the initial conditions (for non-stationary sources) and the boundary conditions. For the verification of the applicability of the model and in particular their numerical solvers are described methods of verification and validation of mathematical models.

(Czech) Photography in the design of book covers in the 1960´s
BOLKOVÁ, Petra
Petra Bolková will be examining in her thesis the evolution of photography used on book covers in the 1960s; the period marked with certain political and cultural liberation. This study will attempt describing systematically in what ways certain artists and writers collaborated and what the difficulties of these collaborations were. It will also be examined how the author of a book and the artist delegated to design the book cover; the initial advertisement for a book, were influencing each other. What is more, the extent to which the graphic art reflects the content of the written word will be studied. Book covers became a covert space for experimenting with or even establishing new trends in the 1960s. Books covers became a new, independent fine art discipline which, essentially, was censored or criticized only occasionally. The goal of this thesis will also be gradually finding the numerous common grounds between photography, book typography and the final design, as photography and photomontage were used on book covers more frequently then classic original illustrations. Last but not least, this thesis will be looking at what emphasis was put on the visual side and how it was conditioned culturally or politically ect.

Usage of the MMSP methodics during development of IS in FileMaker software
Kábrt, Jakub ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Mittner, Jan (referee)
Nowadays the importance of disposing of some information system still grows - organizations are more and more dependent on these systems, because they consider it to be storage of their valuable data. So they are still trying to improve those systems. Their importance grows even in the area of small business. These small businessmen appre-ciate improving situation of affordability of software solutions which they can use for supporting their business. Custom made or customized solutions which could be still developed are very appreciated. This diploma thesis deals with customization of MMSP methodics (Methodics for Small Software Projects) in FileMaker software. FileMaker is a computer program developed for creating individual information systems focusing on personal or business matters. FileMaker contains starting solutions which can be used right after installation the software (invoicing, project planning etc.). But it does not contain guidelines or any methodics which can be used during devel-opment of an individual system. In this thesis, I have edited the MMSP methodics and delivered new steps in order to support development in FileMaker software. The main benefit of this thesis is the customization of the MMSP methodics for using it during projects which deal with FileMaker software or similar during creation of a new system. This custom-ized methodics can be used as a supplement of the MMSP.

Povrchová úprava dřevěných fasád
Slováčková, Hana
This thesis deals with monitoring changes in surface finishing of spruce and larch wood in outdoors. Using outdoor weathering tests the properties of two kinds of paints were tested by - a thin glaze and oil paint, two shades from each. In this work, the influence of the composition of the paint on its durability and light fastness was examined. This issue is closely related to the resistance of coatings to weathering, including solar radiation (UVA and UVB), atmospheric oxygen, relative humidity, temperature, precipitation, biological attack, chemical impacts (air pollution, acid rain, etc.).

Making a methodology for creating multimedia teaching applications

Distropine - Distributed System for Anotation of Web Pages
Kaprál, Ondrej ; Zavoral, Filip (advisor) ; Nečaský, Martin (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement peer-to-peer version of a service for commenting of internet resources. From a functional point of view it is an implementation of P2P discussion forum. We attempt to achieve the highest possible degree of decentralization while meeting these requirements: usage of distributed hash table to store data content and deployment of user identity concept while protecting this identity against theft. In the analysis we came to realize that in the environment where users do not establish any bindings and content distribution is broadcast in nature there is need for globally trusted authority. For this reason it is deployed PKI with certication authority (CA). Our pursuit of maximum decentralization is reached by multiple measures in the design of the application. We allowed simultaneous operation of multiple CA instances, we have also minimized the power of CA to monitor user activities or to censor the content of the system. User interface of the software is integrated into web browser what helps us to shield user from complexity caused by P2P design.

The Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and the International Private Law
Jirmanová, Miroslava ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Dolanská Bányaiová, Lucie (referee) ; Zavadilová, Marta (referee)
Since the late 20th century there has been an increase migration in of people due to the development of new technologies, easier ways of travel and the opening of national borders. People travel abroad for jobs, studies, or exploring new countries. During these travels some of them find life partners abroad, settle down there, conclude marriages and establish families. It often happens that such marriages end in divorce. If children are born in such a wedlock questions arise as to who will take care of them, who will pay maintenance etc. In some cases a parent decides to solve a conflict situation in such a way that he/she moves with the child without consent of the other parent to another place within the country or he/she decides to move to another country, usually to the country of his/her origin. He/she wants to settle there with the child and to legalize staying there. Such removal where national borders are crossed is considered to be international child abduction. The basic document dealing with the issue of international child abductions is the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction (hereinafter the Hague Convention) adopted on 25 October 1980 and currently acceded to by 87 states. The Hague Convention establishes rules according to which cases of...

The humor of Monty Pyton and the Limitations of its translation
Smrčková, Tereza ; Josek, Jiří (advisor) ; Pošta, Miroslav (referee)
This paper focuses on the translation of audiovisual humour. I have analysed Petr Palouš's translation of Monty Python's Flying Circus. The translator of audiovisual humour has to deal with the same issues and problems as the translator of literature, that is he has to find equivalents to word plays, idioms, register and so on, but at the same time he also has to comply with the restrictions of audiovisual medium. I have identified the most common translation problems when translating humour and audiovisual texts and possible strategies of their translation into the target language, and then analysed how Palouš dealt with these cruces translatorum when translating the Flying Circus.
