Process and rate of disability among seniors

The most characteristic feature of the demographic development in the Czech Republic and other developed countries is population ageing. The aim of the thesis "The process and rate of disability among seniors" was to determine the extent to which disability interferes with the lives of the seniors and to map the development, progress and conditions of the pension system. After an introductory overview of basic concepts, a part of the thesis deals with a theoretical analysis of the European framework of social security of seniors and another part is concerned with the reform of disability pensions in the Czech Republic. The focus is also on the forms of care for disabled pensioners. The last chapter of a theoretical part deals with deinstitutionalization. The empirical part analyzes the areas related to the development of population structure, administrative agenda, overview of pensions according to the WHO diagnosis groups, total overview of disability pensions, the development of the structure of pensions, financing of pension administration, and the average age of retired people. The economic side is also included, where pensions are compared with average salary and also the economic activity of seniors, housing, health and social services. Return to Pure Baroque. The State of the Church of St. Margaret in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou after General Overhall Reconstruction This thesis is focused on the course of the overall reconstruction of the Baroque church of St. Margaret in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou, underlining dicretion of its execution. What matters, are not just the reconstruction works but renovation of the whole image as the interior's one as the exteriors one, which was by its end evaluated by The National Heritage Instituon as pure Baroque. Firstly, for better understanding of the situation and introducing a reader into a relationship with fine Baroque architecture and decoration, a brief history of the town, the church as well as Questenberk's ancestry, who put an effort in the Baroque reconstruction of the church and the Jaromerice's castle as well, is described. In conclusion, one can get known how the church looks like nowadays and who a dean, Fr. Václav Kuchler, who initiated the general reconstruction and thus preserved the church from destruction, was. Fire station

Diploma thesis solves the creation of layout study and creation of documentation for the realization new fire station. It is an object amenities used to perform the fire protection services unit of the population of the professional fire category JPO I. The type of fire station is P2. The building layout consists of three interconnected buildings arranged in a U. Structurally the building is divided into two systems. The middle part of the building consists of reinforced concrete skeleton, which has two floors. On the ground floor is garage, on the second floor are located facilities for firefighters. The side buildings connected to the skeleton are build of ceramic bricks, it is a wall system. The main entrance to the building is in the south building at the level of the first floor, where is situated the administrative and operational part of building. This building has two floors. From the northern side, the technical background of the fire station and the workshop are connected to the middle part of the buildin The building is basementless and is roofed by flat roofs only. The object is located on the edge of the Kaplice town, the terrain is slightly sloping. The solved area contains a few related objects.

The importance of mutual cooperation of the bodies of state administration and local government and social partners for tourism development

Diplomová práce se zabývá partnerstvím veřejného a soukromého sektoru - PPP, z angl. Public Private Partnership. Práce je zaměřena na oblast cestovního ruchu, ve které je vzájemná spolupráce velmi důležitá, neboť v cestovním ruchu dochází ke každodennímu střetu veřejného a soukromého sektoru. Práce ukazuje význam této spolupráce na pilotních projektech České republiky, splňujících definici PPP, a na projektech založených na principu partnerství, které jsou v cestovním ruchu daleko častější. PPP pomáhá rozvíjet infrastrukturu, která je tolik potřebná pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu, a je příležitostí pro regiony a kraje, jak realizovat projekty, které by nemohly provést tradiční cestou.

Methodology of tourist cards implementation in the EU - annex

The purpose of this thesis is to create procedure for implementation of tourist cards. The qualitative research emphesize the consumer point of view for such a project according to economic theory of consumer bahavior as well as the duration and price of the tourist cards in more than forty European cities. Benchmarking for chosen cities was made. The qualitative research focuses on the administrator's point of view based on interviews with managers of tourist card projects. Furthermore finance and cost --benefit analysis showing a contribution of the project to the local economy is provided. .With understanding nature of the tourist card system a proposal for Brno and the South Moravia region was made on behalf of the obtained results.

Economic Development of German Federal States in Regard to their Labor Market in 1990-2010

The ongoing debate around a successful reunification process is dividing Germany, not only geographically but also socio-economically and politically. There have been some remarkable achievements during the reunification, especially during the first years, but the period 1990-2012 has also seen some negative developments. Analysis is based mainly on databases from the German Socio-Economic Panel (GSOEP), as well as other administrative data sources such as the Deutsche Institut for Wirtschaft (DIW). In examining and comparing the roles of demographic changes, productivity, the implementation of active labor market policies (ALMPs), labor participation, unemployment, education, the gender gap, and wage inequality, we analyze the development of the german labor market by its main determinants, in order to conclude whether the German government has succeeded in the reunification of East and West Germany.

Analysis of tourism in a chosen city (Vodňany)

This bachelor's thesis focuses on an overall analysis of tourism in Vodňany. The aim is to describe the current situation, assess the potential of the town for tourism and to propose recommendations and measures to further development. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of tourism in general, then with urban tourism and its potential benefits for the town. The analytical part describes conditions for the development of tourism in the city, including the characteristics of tourism offer, SWOT analysis and it describes in detail plans for the future. At the conclusion evaluation of competitiveness in the South Bohemia region is included.

The theme of the bachelor thesis is "Job Market and Unemployment in Strakonice County". Main goal of the thesis is targeting problems concerning unemployment and simultaneous procedure of seeking a new job at Strakonice County area. Theoretical section of the thesis is defining basic terms concerning unemployment, describing unemployment and its particular types. There is also present a brief survey of unemployment in the Czech Republic area. The theoretical section is also introducing government policy of unemployment and activities of the Czech Republic's Job center. The thesis also defines Strakonice County in geographical, demographical, and economy terms. Practical section of the bachelor thesis is conceived using results of quantitative research that was carried out with job applicants at The Czech Republic's Job Center at Strakonice point.

Temperature injures in pre-hospital emergency care

The content of my bachelor thesis of the title Thermic injuries in pre-hospital urgent treatment is a brief summary of this issue theory with the performed research whose task is to confirm the knowledge of medical rescuers concerning the attitude to these injuries. The theoretical part deals with certain thermal shocks ? hypertermiae, burns, hypothermiae and frostbites. In each of these conditions a simple pathophysiology, its division, symptoms, possible risks, lay (non-expert) first aid and special pre-hospital urgent treatment are described. The technique of content analyses of expert monographies as well as magazines in the electronic form were used at work with literature. The practical part deals with the research and the intention to determine the level of rescuers´ knowledge concerning this issue from the point of view of pathophysiological thermic injuries and ways of their tratment in the pre-hospital urgent care. To verify the hypotheses, the method of quantitative research was used. Data acquisition was realized through the method of questioning in an anonymous questionnaire, distributed to regional centres of health rescue service in Moravian-Silesian region. Out of the total number of 100 distributed questionnaires, 82 returned, the rate of return thus equalled 82 %. The research outcomes are stated in this thesis in form of graphs with percentage results. The hypotheses which were set at the beginning of the reserach have been confirmed. Practical skils as well as theoretical knowledge of Moravian-Silesian region rescuers respond in a high rate to expert literary sources and attitudes. Of course, even incorrect answers have appeared, however their amount has not exceeded 50 % in any of the questions. Despite this, I would like to publicize my thesis content, for example, on the Internet pages with the intention of a brief and clear acquaintance with this issue so that it could serve as a kind of instruction in case of little ignorance. Even we, paramedical workers, are only humans and make mistakes at times. Therefore I think it is important to know where to find help in case we are not completely sure.

Ethical aspects of operation workers in socially-juridical children protection.

First two captures of the dissertation´s theoretical part deals with socially- juridical children protection in Czech Republic. Closer look into the history, legislative moorage and scheduler task safeguard. The separated area is devoted to operational workers in socially-juridical children protection of the Civil Service system. Third chapter offers brief look into ethical subject in social - work. Attention is especially devoted to ethical propositions and ethical dilemmas. Practical part contains presentation of a questionnaire survey from Council of the Pilsner region, where socially-jurisprudent workers took part in. Its target was to discover what role plays ethical aspects in activities of these social workers. Investigation should bring an answer for the question if ethical aspects are consider to be important for socially-juridical operational workers and if operational workers uses them and are methodically dedicated to them and if not, what it could be the cause.
