Cognitive continuity in relation to the customer
Barková, Jana ; Franková, Emilie (advisor) ; Žižka, Ondřej (referee)
In my Bachelor thesis I will present mind mapping which is a relatively less known method that enables initiation and capturing individual appropriately focused thought processes, content and structure of individual employees who are working in the sales department. These empolyees are on a daily basis in contact with the customer. The content of the notion that I was in the organization decided to investigate is the CUSTOMER. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to find out how individual employees perceive the concept of customer. The results of qualitative research by the mental mapping method will bring important associations about the concept of customer, which will be spontaneously reflected in the mind of the worker. In every way executive management needs to know what the employees are spontaneously thinking about the customer in order to improved customer care.

Valuation of employee stock options in accordance with IFRS 2 at fair value basis
Červený, Martin ; Mařík, Miloš (advisor) ; Strouhal, Jiří (referee)
This master's thesis is dealing with the topic of employee stock options (ESOs), primarily with the valuation of ESOs in accordance with the accounting standard IFRS 2 at corresponding fair value basis. The goal of this thesis is a critical analysis of the standard mentioned, with respect to the conditions of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part comes with the basic characteristics of employee stock options and explains how the traditional option-valuation models can be modified for the purpose of ESOs valuation. It is also concerned with discussion about fundamental features of the fair value basis necessary for the valuation process. The essential part of this thesis is the critical analysis focusing on the rationality of accounting methods, disclosure requirements and also on a theoretically correct determination of model inputs. Critical analysis is followed by case study aimed on evaluation of an authentic option plan. The practical part also demonstrates advanced methods of valuation using the Black-Scholes and the binominal models as well as the Monte Carlo simulation. In the conclusion, I present proposals for changes of the IFRS 2. According to the results of the critical analysis, supported by case study, greatest shortcomings were identified in the disclosure requirements. Proposals for changes are aimed mainly on this problem.

A possible approach for assessment of general singular stress concentrators on the basis of linear elastic fracture mechanics
Náhlík, Luboš
This paper studies a stress distribution around a general singular stress concentrator tip on the basis of linear elastic fracture mechanics. A procedure for development of stability criteria of general singular stress concentrators is shown. Three different methods for determination of an essential critical stress for crack propagation from the stress concentrator tip are introduced. Each of used method is useful for different mechanism of crack propagation. The described procedures are based on three dissimilar physical basis: on the energetic ground – the generalized strain energy density factor is mentioned, on the failure stress of material grain ahead of concentrator tip and on the size of plastic zone in front of concentrator tip. The numerical results can contribute to better understanding of general stress concentrators behaviour and can be used for design of engineering structures with mentioned type of stress concentrator

Comparison of hedging instruments in international trade
Štrossová, Šárka ; Němečková, Iveta (advisor) ; Hinčica, Vít (referee)
The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. In first part hedging instruments, namely the Letter of Credit, Documentary Collection, Bill of Exchange, Factoring, Forfaiting and Bank Guarantee are analyzed. The aim of analysis is to describe the basic characteristics of instruments and course of these instruments. Subsequently, the instruments are compared to each other on the basis of the advantages and disadvatages they bring to participants. The next part is devoted to an analysis of charges associated with the use of particular hedging instruments in selected banks and the comparison of instruments based on selected criteria. The specific use of the hedging instrument is shown in the case study.

Literature as Realisation and Model; Theological Reflections on Prose Fiction by Dorothee Sölle and Dietmar Mieth
Zámečník, Jan ; Halama, Jindřich (advisor) ; Hošek, Pavel (referee) ; Med, Jaroslav (referee)
Although I was aware it was something of a minefield, I ventured to undertake the risky task of trying to throw light on theological approaches to prose fiction. Passages devoted to Dietmar Mieth and Dorothee Sölle form the central focus and basis of this thesis, and in them I attempt not only to interpret their approach to literature, but also to present the theology of these authors. In places where this is possible, I attempt to provide a reflection on broader issues, such as metaphors, the death of God, Christian tragedy, and so on. In so doing, I am motivated by the endeavour to map out a broader context for the relationship between theology, literary criticism, and literature, and to elucidate more the overall position of Sölle's and Mieth's approaches. Also deals with suicide behaviour, its forms, types, methods and causes of suicidal behaviour, motivation, development of data collection and the treatment of suicidal behaviour. The aim of this work was to find out the most common reasons and ways of suicidal behaviour in addicts individuals in the psychiatric hospital of the Cerveny Dvur (hereinafter referred to as PH CD ). Another objective was to determine whether the clients have undergone a treatment PH CD after the suicide attempt. On the basis of the objectives have been created three research questions. Due to the nature of the investigated problem was as a research method chosen semi- structured interview with clients. Before the research was carried out in PH CD questionnaire survey on suicidal behavior for a team project GA JU No. 103/2013/S "The effect of systematic psychotherapy tailored to the incidence of intentional self-injurious behaviour".. Based on the data from the questionnaire investigation were clients selected for this diploma thesis. Interviews were conducted with eight clients of PH CD.

Etiology of traumas of the locomotive apparatus sufferd by seniors and requiring acute rescue solution
HAVLOVÁ, Marie
ETIOLOGY OF TRAUMAS OF THE LOCOMOTIVE APPARATUS SUFFERED BY SENIORS AND REQUIRING ACUTE RESCUE SOLUTION The paper is focused on the research pertaining to injuries of bones, joints and muscles suffered by the senior population. The subject of the research was the injuries occurred in the past five years that were attended to by the medical rescue service. The theoretical part is focused on description of pathophysiological changes of the skeletal and the muscle system that take place at old age, and defines the basic health risk factors and further effects that may lead to injuries. The objective of the empiric part was collection of the information on whose basis the occurrence and the origin of injuries of the locomotive apparatus suffered by seniors will be defined in relation to the actions of the medical rescue service with respect to sex, and description of the household environment conditions or some other effects (such as alcohol and medicines) on occurrence of injuries of the skeleton system, based on which it will be possible to define the measures and the procedures that may be used to reduce occurrence of these types of injuries. The research was performed in the district of České Budějovice on the surveyed set of 214 informants older than 60 years. The selected set was made out on the basis of quota random selection with respect to sex. The reason for selection of this topic was the increasing proportion of actions of the medical rescue service necessitated by injuries suffered at a higher age, and the growing number of hospitalized seniors.

Immigration as a factor endangering the bilateral relations between the EU and Switzerland
Jakšová, Karolína ; Jiránková, Martina (advisor) ; Němcová, Ingeborg (referee)
This thesis deals with the theme of bilateral relations between the EU and Switzerland, focusing on the current phenomenon of migration. The EU and Switzerland cooperate on bilateral sectoral basis, since Switzerland (hence the citizens of Switzerland) does not want to integrate into the European internal market to maintain its sovereignty and autonomy. Within the first series of bilateral agreements between the EU and Switzerland an agreement on free movement of persons was signed, thereby Switzerland opened its labour market to EU citizens. In February 2014, however, the citizens of Switzerland used the institution of direct democracy and adopted by a narrow majority the initiative to stop mass immigration. This step disrupted the agreement on free movement of persons and the complex negotiations started in order to solve this impasse. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the impacts of immigration on the Swiss economy and the subsequent evaluation of the reasonableness to mitigate the immigration through a citizens' initiative.

Diseases Caused by Vibrations
Černíková, Eva ; Hrnčíř, Evžen (advisor)
The theme of my thesis due to illness I chose the vibration on the basis of its long-term interest work on medical issues. Effects of environmental factors accompanying mankind throughout its existence and development civilization as a professional activity increasingly affecting his health. The human body constantly has many influences, which is forced to respond. One of these influences, arranged between the factors physical nature, are vibrations. They can lead to professional injuries that cause the highest number of occupational diseases in the Czech Republic. This is mainly a disease caused by transfer of excess vibration on the upper limb at work with various vibrating tools and the overall vibration.
