Possibilities for NGOs to participate in implementation of projects on socio-legal protection of children.

In recent years, the social and legal protection of children has been much discussed and talked over by the general public. To a considerable extent that is definitely a result of the upcoming amendment to the Children?s Social and Legal Protection Act No. 359/1999 Coll., which is going to bring numerous changes regarding individuals taking part in the social and legal protection of children. The opening focuses on governmental and non-governmental organisations that cooperate with families. The social and legal protection of children, its structure and historical course are analysed and the issue of child neglect as well as the procedures of the children?s social and legal protection authorities and further cooperating subjects are specified. Family redevelopment is another point which is aimed at. Important constitutional and international documents related to the social and legal protection of children are described. Last but not least, the ethical code of a social worker is mentioned, which represents one of the fundamental documents in social work. The objective of the research lay in monitoring the circumstances of the cooperation between the Children?s Social and Legal Protection Authority (OSPOD) and the non-governmental non-profit organisations (NNO) in the Regions of South Bohemia and Pilsen. The thesis analyses the effects of the cooperation between the OSPOD and NNO and compares the attained experience of the subjects taking part in family redevelopment. The research questions of the thesis focused on cooperation negotiation between the children?s social and legal protection authorities and non-governmental non-profit organisations, determining strengths and weaknesses of such cooperations. Having processed the obtained data it was found out that the form of cooperation negotiation between the OSPOD and NNO is not cohesive. It takes place upon an individual agreement between individual OSPODs and NNOs. Additionally, the strengths and weaknesses of the cooperation between the OSPOD and NNO were further specified based upon the carried out research. To complete the task, a questioning method of dialogue was selected for the research. Half-standard discussions with the workers of the children?s social and legal protection authorities as well as non-governmental non-profit organisations took place in the Regions of South Bohemia and Pilsen.

The influence of the internet on society: The issue of distribution of audiovisual content

The aim of this work is to analyze the influence audiovisual content distributed on the internet on society. The first part focuses on the theoretical framework and explains important notions for the rest of the thesis. The second part focuses on specific issues. This part deals with the positive and negative influences of the content on the behavior of people in society. The work deals with the reasons that motivate users to download illegal content and examines how is possible to limit this download and whether is this downloading harmful or not. The bachelor thesis also addresses how the monitoring of inappropriate content affect the thinking of the children and how can parents against these negative influences protect their children.

The Problem of a Child?s Adapting to a Nursery School

This diploma work is devoted to children's adaptation problems to a nursery school with regard to basic psychological needs of a child. It deals with founding out of pupils, teenagers and growns-up feedback as for their nursery school attendance. It analyses the structure and adaptation programme development of a certain nursery school and it maps process of adaptation of children in nursery schools in the town of Sokolov. It describes if and how adaptation programme is realized in these schools. It evaluates records of observation of children in adaptation process, it names its positive and negative aspects in dependence on children's participating in adaptation programme. Problems informedness of family members about offer of nursing to patients suffering from epilepsy

The bachelor{\crq}s thesis titled ``The Issue of Family Members´ Awareness of Caring for Patients Suffering from Epilepsy{\crqq} deals with the field of knowledge and information that should be provided to members of families of patients suffering from epilepsy. For the thesis, goals and assumed hypotheses were defined; quantitative research was applied to verify them. Respondents from two selected workplaces took part in the research. The results of the research work show that close relatives of patients have certain basic knowledge of the disease, but the information they receive are not complete, not to say exhausting. There are areas, in which the patients and their family members tend to follow various prejudices and superstitions rather than scientific information, though they are expected to participate in caring for the patients. On the basis of the research, there was an attempt to define areas, in which respondents did not have enough important information, and to concentrate on them within more in-depth education of patients and their relatives.

The theoretical part is divided into four spheres - neuroanatomy and pathology, brain injury, psychosocial consequences and rehabilitation. In the empirical part the author use a qualitative research approach to deal with the impact of psychosocial consequences after the traumatic brain injury to the patient's family. The research took place in association Cerebrum and Ústřední vojenská nemocnice Praha, it was conducted by the method of focal groups. Problems of education of the caregivers of the person with Alzheimer's disease

The bachelor's thesis reports about problems of Alzheimer's disease. It briefly looks at the history of the illness, introduces diagnostic and therapeutic methods and also mentions alternative options of approach to the patient suffering from this disease. At the last but not least it describes the nursing care about such patient and emphasize the importace of education of the family caregivers. The main part of the thesis is created by quantitative exploratory survey which focuses at three work groups. The first group is represented by family caregivers of the patient with Alzheimer's disease. The survey's main aim is to find out about the amount of the information they have regarding the given problems and the way they deal with their new life situation. The second group is formed by general practicioners and the third group is represented by the home nursing workers. The target of the survey concerning these two groups is to find out about the extent of the education they pursue and eventual obstacles.

Depression - its features and awareness among nurses

My bachelor work deals with the issue of depressive affection and nurses awareness about it. The teoretical part concludes up present theories about this illness. It also explains its point, cause, symptoms and cure for this affection and an approach of nurses to the patients and their families. Datas from the exploratory study were obtained from a anonymous questionnaire, which I executed and analysed in Microsoft Excel. The questions were focused on the knowledge of the affection, endangering factors which pose a threat to nurses and also on their selfreflection. Acquired datas are represented in graphs and tables. 80 nurses took part in this study. In my work I also conclude improvement suggestions for improving nurses awareness. Problems of secondary victimization of children crime victims with special focus on evalution of credibility of child witness

The bachelor thesis "Problems of Secondary Victimization of Children Crime Victims With Special Focus on Evaluation of Credibility of Child Witness " deals with the victimological view of a child as a witness of a criminal act. The thesis is specifically focused on the issue of secondary abuse by close environment of a victim and by the official bodies involved in investigation. Its unique attribute is evaluating of the credibility of a child witnesses - victims of criminal acts of sexual abuse - by forensic experts. The empirical part contains of a research interpretation in the form of a questionnaire completed by forensic experts. The aim of a research was to bring closer the attitudes and opinions of experts in the areas of psychology, pedopsychiatry and clinical psychology with regard to secondary victimization, methods of evaluating the credibility of child witness and reflection of their own position in the system. The research results show that the process of evaluating of credibility by forensic experts is not wholly objective, an indispensable part of the outcome of evaluation depends on personal traits of an expert, their motivation and time disposition.
