Bakalářská práce na téma {\clqq}Problematika informovanosti rodinných příslušníků o poskytování péče nemocným s epilepsií`` je věnována oblasti znalostí a informací, které by měly být poskytovány rodinným příslušníkům nemocných s epilepsií.Pro práci byly stanoveny cíle a předpokládané hypotézy, k jejichž ověření bylo použito kvantitativního výzkumu. Zúčastnili se ho respondenti na dvou vybraných pracovištích. Z výsledků výzkumné práce je jasné, že blízcí nemocných mají určité základní znalosti o onemocnění, ale informace jim podané nejsou úplné, natož vyčerpávající. Existují oblasti, ve kterých se nemocní a jejich rodinní příslušníci řídí spíše podle různých předsudků a pověr, než na základě vědeckých informací. A přitom se od očekává, že se budou spolupodílet na péči o tyto nemocné. Na základě výzkumu bylo snahou vymezit oblasti, ve kterých respondenti neměli dostatek důležitých informací, a zaměřit se na ně při důkladnější edukaci nemocných i jejich blízkých. The bachelor{\crq}s thesis titled ``The Issue of Family Members´ Awareness of Caring for Patients Suffering from Epilepsy{\crqq} deals with the field of knowledge and information that should be provided to members of families of patients suffering from epilepsy. For the thesis, goals and assumed hypotheses were defined; quantitative research was applied to verify them. Respondents from two selected workplaces took part in the research. The results of the research work show that close relatives of patients have certain basic knowledge of the disease, but the information they receive are not complete, not to say exhausting. There are areas, in which the patients and their family members tend to follow various prejudices and superstitions rather than scientific information, though they are expected to participate in caring for the patients. On the basis of the research, there was an attempt to define areas, in which respondents did not have enough important information, and to concentrate on them within more in-depth education of patients and their relatives.
