Macháčková, Gabriela ; Zemánek, Jiří (advisor) ; Král, Richard (referee)
Reverse Discrimination in the Community Law Context Gabriela Machačkova The final thesis discusses the issue of reverse discrimination, which arises when nationals/products of a Member State are disadvantaged because they are subject to a national regulatory measure, while foreign (EU) nationals/products are protected from that national measure by virtue of European Community (EC) law. It examines the question of scope of EC Law, specifically focusing on the extent to which nationals of a Member State who have never exercised their Community rights can claim their rights by applying the Treaty establishing the European Community. It addresses the question of extension of the scope of EC law to cover purely internal situations in which no inter-State element is present, and to which the fundamental freedoms (free movement of goods, services, persons and capital) do not apply. First, it reviews the development of European Court of Justice case-law on reverse discrimination and situations which can be regarded as purely internal. The time frame discussed in the thesis ranges from the late 1970s until the present. Reverse discrimination and purely internal situations are analysed in terms of the examples of the Court's jurisprudence. Secondly, as Union Citizenship has been introduced by the Maastricht Treaty,...

Sixteen female patients were divided into two groups of eight members, i.e. tested group and control group. Both groups were put through training focused on self-support, maintaining or enhancement of range of movement, strengthening of weak muscle groups, stability training, practicing sitting up and lying down from sitting position, and walking in the high walking frame in the case of stronger patients. Besides that the tested group underwent Vojta reflex stimulation (global model of reflex turning), coordination and stability exercise and exercise with rehabilitation tools (elastic band, over ball, small ball, water bottle). In the beginning and in the end of the project the EMS (Elderly Mobility Scale), BI (Barthel Index), and MMSE (Mini-mental State Examination) scales were tested as well as ability to turn from back to side and stability in the sitting position. Statistical comparability of both groups was proved true in the beginning of the therapy by Mann-Whitney test. There was a noticeable tendency towards higher probability of enhancing measured scores in the tested group compared to the control group after the therapy. Gozonová, Renata ; Sánchez Fernández, Juan Antonio (advisor) ; Poláková, Dora (referee)
In my thesis, I focus on the evolution of the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca's poetry, from his stay in Andalusia to the period he passed in New York. At first, we present avant-garde literary movements of that age. In detail we focus on the Generation 27, whose Lorca was member, and on the poetry the poets cultivated. In Lorca, firstly, we take a look at his life, his personality and then we divide his production into two periods: Andalusia - we take look at his lecture about "cante jondo" and at two books, Poem of cante jondo and Gipsy romances. New York - we approximate to Lorca's stay in New York and the country, and how the environment was reflected in his book of poems Poet in New York. In conclusion we summarize both periods of his production.

Religious socialism and Its Czech reception
Tomanová, Petra ; Doubek, Vratislav (advisor) ; Pavlincová, Helena (referee)
This thesis is based on the premise that the function of the Church in public space cannot be reduced to providing religious service to their members, therefore the goal of this paper was to inspect their public activity. From the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century Christian Churches begin to take part in the events round them - the Roman-catholic Church has come with its own social theory (represented by the encyclic Rerum novarum) and has started founding its own confessional polical parties. Numerous reformation Churches based on Calvin's teachings have started their public activities with self-criticism on the one side, and with demands on fundamental changes of the existing order on the other side. The theme of the first chapter was to examine the differences between these two kinds of Western Christiandom in a point of view whether or not they had affected their approach to social problems. The second chapter is focused on the life and work of Hermann Kutter and Leonhard Ragaz, for it was these two men who co-founded the international oecumenical politico-religious movement which chose for itself the title "Religious Socialism" in order to differ from Roman-catholic "Christian Social Theory". The aim of the movement was to emphasize the righteousness of the claims of...
