Analysis of operation data for purposes of optimization
Slavíček, Martin ; Pavlas, Martin (referee) ; Touš, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with analysis of operation data for purposes of optimization. The thesis is divided into four chapters. First chapter focuses on present and future development in waste management legislation. It mainly deals with prevention, recycling and disposal of waste. Second chapter more closely describes waste-to-energy process. This chapter also describes the technology of municipal waste incinerator in Liberec, Termizo, a.s. Third chapter starts with description of tools used in design of the models based on operation data. Then the models for individual technological nodes are described. The last part is focused on building a complex model of Termizo using previous results.

State contribution to building savings
Kasalová, Monika ; Urbánek, Václav (advisor) ; Bušovský, Ladislav (referee)
This bachelor thesis examines how state supports the building savings in Czech Republic. Because of the fact, that state expenditures on this support are part of public expenditures, in the first part I focus on its characteristic and division. Then I continue more specific in description of mandatory expenditures. I describe its structure and analyse its development in years from 2000 to 2013. In the second part I deal with construction, development of state support on the basis of legislative changes which occured during this years of application this product on the Czech market. The last part of my thesis is dedicated to analysis of possible changes in building savings and its impact on state budget and on the whole system of this field.

Intanke and exhaust manifold for racing engine
Chuchma, Ondřej ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This Master’s thesis is focused on design and optimalization of intake and exhaust system of the C20XE engine. It is four-cylinder gasoline engine with stroke volume of two litres, which was produced by car company Opel. This engine is determined for Opel Astra F automobile, that is build for racing. For optimalization of dimension parameters there is used a Lotus Engine simulation software, which simulates one-dimension gas flowing in manifold. 3D CAD models are made in Pro ENGINNER software.

The difference between preliminary and final price of construction contract
Zatloukal, Ondřej ; Aubusová,, Alena (referee) ; Tichá, Alena (advisor)
This thesis is focused on comparing prices for a preliminary reconstruction of the building and the final price after its finished. Theoretical part deals with the procurement, pricing and budget construction. In the practical part I describe ways to create a price of the selected object reconstruction, the change in the course of implementation and the results upon completion.

SEO audit and content analysis of the selected website
Beneš, Martin ; Bubeníček, Jan (advisor) ; Truhlář, Filip (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with SEO audit and content analysis for a particular website. The aim is to outline the process of search engine optimization and then verify if the website is sufficiently optimized on the basis of the information gathered. The theoretical part is defined by basic problems, the most commonly used methods of optimization and link-building, and outlined the process of creating keyword analysis. Then there is a brief explanation about how search engines work and which factors are crucial for evaluating the positions of web pages in a search. At the end it describes the necessary tools for a quality SEO audit. In the practical part, there will be an executed SEO audit on the basis of theoretical knowledge along with content analysis, which will be based on the keyword analysis. Part of SEO audit will be specific recommendations for increasing traffic from organic search.

Evaluation of chat bots
Hazdra, Jan ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Čermák, Radim (referee)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of theability of machines to imitate human behavior. Presents a brief history of the development on the field of artificial intelligence and intelligent machines, specifically chat botsand describes their evolution throughout the 20th century. It describes the most important features and building blocks of chat bots, including the most widely used programming languages for creating them.It also describes the theory of A. Turing, the test and the imitation game, on which is based methodology for evaluating chat bots. Then it also examines the criticism of the Turing's test by J. R. Searle's chinese room argument that is used for its better understanding and finding its boundaries. The work also describes H. Dreyfus's assumptions, which led to optimism in the late 90s in development in artificial intelligence and limits of artificial intelligence, on which he pointed out. The main objective is the metodology proposed in the second part, which is used for comparing selected chat bots and then used for their evaluation. Overall evaluation consists of evaluations in the sub-categories in which will be individual chat bots scored. The methodology is based on the Turing test, which slightly modifies, but also extends thanks to the ideas of other authors.

Simulation of heating and cooling loads of the A1 building and the analysis of energy saving measures
Bartoník, Adam ; Kolbábek, Antonín (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the heat loss and the heat loads simulation of A1 building in the area of The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology and with the measures of the energy saving. The measures of the thermo-technical charakteristics for the winter and summer operations are provided on the base of the current state simulation. These measures include increasing of thermal resistence (of the building case), the radiation shielding, the sun blinds and the passive cooling by the night ventilation. All the simulation are performed in TRNSYS 16.1 software.

Residential Complex in Brno - Komín
Selnarová, Elisabeth ; Pospíšil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
Taking into consideration the slope of the terrain as well as the surrounding development, two types of residential buildings have been proposed: Komín a Komínek. They are placed in a regular structure into a given land. Sustainable development is at the core of the proposal. The residential buildings are proposed as sturctures created from multiple components. The framework is comprised of a reinforced concrete and the peripheral walls are stuffed with thermal insulating wooden panels. Air conditioned heating will be used (the air will be heated by a gas boiler). Due to the quality of the insolation, the houses are considered as low energy structures. As individual structures, each apartment has three sided orientation to cardinal direction. Some of the rooms have two sided lighting, which further increases their attractivness. The residential bulding is composed of Maisonette appartments, which together create asimilar structure. The fundamental space is intertwined with a ribbon that carries on its edges balconies, terraces or parking spaces. Each unit has a balcony, which allows the residence to relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape. The housing is proposed for a general audience (wider population). There are several types of appartments including no barrier appartments situated in the first floor as well as Maisonette appartments in the last floor.

Requirements for manager in the construction engineering
Horská, Lenka ; Talač, Michal (referee) ; Linkeschová, Dana (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused to requirements for manager in the construction engineering. The theoretical part briefly describes the management and its role in the construction. After that, the work devotes itself to the requirements, functions and techniques of construction manager. The empirical part is looking into the establishment of hypotheses which were either confirmed or disproved in a questionnaire research, concentrated on construction companies and senior students in the field of Management building at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. One of the empirical part is analysis of jobs as a manager in the construction industry. This research is enriched by guided interviews, which is followed by conclusions and subsequent recommendations for both civil society, students and also for the faculty.
