Educational programme with elements of inquiry based earth science teaching at the 1.st grade primary school

The aim of this work is to prepare an educational program with the elements of inquiry teaching (BOV) and at the same time to make sure whether the suggested activities from the point of view of the aims of teaching natural science at the 1 grade of the basic school are effective. This thesis shows some possibilities how to work out with this method and how to incorporate it to the process of teaching. As a purpose - built example there were used topics connected with the physiology of plants. Different teaching methods appropriate for the realization of BOV in the frame of the Educational program with respect to the relevant content of the textbooks of natural science are applied here. The thesis was dealt within the bounds of the project GA JU č. 065/2010/S a GA JU č. 078/2013/S

Financing of cross-border activities of small and medium- sized enterprises

First chapter explains the concept of SME in terms of providing of the state support, and points out their contribution to economy and society. Second chapter provides a brief overview of the activities of EU towards SME sector and state support of cross-border activities of SME. Third chapter provides an overview of commercial and alternative forms of financing of SME's activities, such as activities of commercial banks towards SMEs, factoring, leasing and private equity). Fourth chapter is an analysis of impact of crisis on financing of SME, concentrated on governmental anticrisis measurements and their real impact on financing of export with state support.

Event marketing

This study aims to analyze event-marketing activities of the small firm and propose new events. At first the theoretical part describes marketing and communication mix and then especially planning and development of event marketing campaign. Research data were collected by the method of survey to propose the new events. Randomly selected customers were asked to fill the questionnaire. Its results were integrated into the proposal of the new events. The interview was realized with the owner of the firm and with the employees. This interview was concerned mainly recent communication activities of the firm. Besides the presentation of the company there are the marketing mix, the competitive analysis and the SWOT analysis in the practical part. In addition the study describes the current event-marketing activities of the firm, the analysis of the unsuccessful event and the proposal of the several new variants of the events for this firm.

How marketing activities affect children eating habits

The bachelor thesis aims to evaluate eating habits of selected children segment according to how they are influenced by and what is their cause. On the theoretical basis of children segment classification are using questionnaire survey the effects of marketing activities, family and neighborhood on children's consumer behavior investigated. The aim is also to find out informations about children's awareness of brands operating in the food market, which of them specifically attract children's attention and how. The analysis of this consumer behavior and eating habits is the result of the survey collected data and form the backbone of the whole work. In conclusion, it attempts to generalize and link the connections between specific points of the research and confirm or refute the hypotheses based on childen's catering. The entire work is trying to assess the relevance of the current theme of children's meals, which poses as a target of the number of marketing activities.

Drugs in the Schools Preventing Substance Abuse

The thesis is focused on the prevention of social-pathological phenomena in elementary schools. The theoretical part describes the general characteristics of social-pathological phenomena affecting children and juvenils, in particular it deals with drug addiction and drug prevention in elementary schools. Practical part deals with the analysis of minimum prevention program of the selected school in České Budějovice and provides research, which assesses the impact of preventive activities on pupils in the 9th grade of elementary school. The final part of the thesis consists of the elaboration of its own prevention program.

Analysis of business opportunities in the market for rail passenger transport

European Commission sees further development of rail passenger transport as one of the main pillars for maintaining and further strengthening of competitiveness of Europe. With rail passenger transport, as a growth industry that connects all the other sectors, we can count on further economic development in future while preserving diversity and beauty of European fauna and flora as well as growth in living standards. It was found that the trends in the use of railways in the Czech Republic and advanced European countries are different. The paper assumes that the role of rail passenger transport in the Czech Republic will strengthen in accordance with trends in western countries. The paper analyses the Czech rail passenger transport market. The Prague -- České Budějovice route has been identified as the most suitable for entry of a new private operator. There are strong streams of passengers. After completion of the railway corridor the route will offer extension of activities onto the Austrian market. The paper analyses the competitive environment. The main competitors are RegioJet and LEO Express. The operator can compete using low-cost concept, especially EMU trains. High quality of offered services will also play an important role. Leasing was identified as the most convenient financial instrument. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are summarized in the SWOT analysis.

The influence of the investments and the investment incentives on the development of the economy in the Czech Republic and in the region of the former German Democratic Republic

The Czech Republic and the region of the former German Democratic Republic were both in the nineties of the past century transferred from state-owned economics into market-oriented economics. The bachelor work compares the economy development of the Czech Republic and of the German Democratic Republic, analyzes political, economical and other starting conditions for the transformation in both countries. In the following sites it considers the description, analysis and comparison of the financial and other supports of invest activities in these regions and it highlights the importance of the state agencies. The last chapter tries to compare prognosis of the possible development in both countries.

The analysis of the personnel work in the company and recommendations to increase its effectiveness.

This thesis engages in the analysis of personnel work at Prague City Apartments, Ltd. Its aim is to examine the personnel activities that are performed in the organization and suggest recommendations to increase their effectiveness. The intention is to identify the main weaknesses of the system and propose possible solutions. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part includes the definition and explanation of the key human resources activities that currently take place in the enterprise; the practical part examines these activities and interprets them. To meet the objectives of the work various methods were used, including examining internal company documents, observation, conducting interviews, questionnaires and a summarizing SWOT analysis. The study indicates that human resources activities exist in the company and have a lot of positive aspects; however, there are several deficiencies that need to be corrected and improvements to be made in order to increase the effectiveness of the personnel work and therefore overall performance of Prague City Apartments, Ltd.

Marketing Strategy of a Newly Established Company

The main objective of the thesis is to work on a marketing strategy intended for a newly established private charter company. The general principles, marketing concept and strategy layout applied to the company in question are elaborated on. The primary objective is to conduct the analysis of both external and internal environment terms, to conduct a competitor analysis and to deduce the market potential for the particular market area. The next objective is then to identify the client and their requirements, to select the target of the client demand as well as to compare the client demands with the company potential supply. Based on the market survey, the marketing goals are specified and executable strategies are presented. The marketing strategy includes a future profit prediction based on the defined goals and a proposal for verification activities for a parallel plan-keeping control. In general, the aim of the present thesis is to create a marketing strategy that would be integrated in the company management and its business activities.
