Influence of accreditation on patient
KRASNIČANOVÁ, Lucie
Nowadays the accreditation of hospitals is very current topic. During the last years there has been a change in the way of life of society. Within the provided services, the number of patients seeking higher quality medical facilities with specialist care rises. The basic lead for patient is the information about accreditation of the medical facility. The accreditation of the hospital is guarantee for patient that procedures used in the hospital comply with the prescribed standards. Standardization of care provides a unified approach to the patient and leads to safer and higher quality care. Thesis objectives Objective 1: To find out how the selected hospitals introduce "Program of improving the quality and safety of the services provided in a hospital accredited (JCI)" Objective 2: To explore the impact of accreditation (JCI) on patient satisfaction and quality of feedback. Objective 3: To define the benefits of accreditation at the hospital with JCI against the facility without JCI from the patient's perspective. Research questions 1) How does patient perceive the level of care, its accessibility and continuity in the accredited facility? 2) How does patient perceive the complex care of team of trained personnel (doctors, nurses, educational nurses, nutritional therapists)? 3) How does patient evaluate the awareness about all care related to his/her health during hospitalization? 4) What difference in care is there for patient at the hospital with accreditation from the other facility without it? Methodology To obtain the necessary information, a qualitative research was carried out and the methods of questioning with the technique of semi-structured interview on a pre-prepared set of questions were used. A total of 6 patients hospitalized in Hospital Na Homolce were interviewed. The hospital management was informed about the research in writing. Results and Conclusion The interviews revealed that the patients were provided by nursing care according to general or functional method during the hospitalisation in JCI accredited hospital. The care was available according to the patients? needs in terms of time and organisation. In one case a bed wasn?t arranged. The situation was resolved by agreement of staff with the patient. An important part of patient admission to the accredited hospital was staff presentation to patients, which was done, except for one patient. Furthermore, all patients agreed that a physician in the department had attended them every day. The cooperation of the multidisciplinary team worked well according to the patients, they particularly appreciated the work of a psychologist. Patients saw differences in the care in the security measures and in terms of availability, the interviews revealed that two respondents had experienced a long waiting time to scheduled surgery at a hospital without accreditation. The patients evaluated positively the level of provided nursing care. The results of the survey show that most of patients were aware of the differences in provided care. There is surely an influence of education of the nurses in the communication with patients, when was found out that it is needed to develop the communication more. The output of this thesis is a proposal of practical seminar for nurses, which should contain basic information about an effective communication with the patient, particularly aimed to feedback.

Personal and family finances-your own business as a path to riches
Hromasová, Lucie ; Smrčka, Luboš (advisor) ; Sladkovský, Otakar (referee)
The goal was to implement a business plan that is viable and will provide long-term profit. I wanted to prove, as the name suggests, running a business can lead to wealth, because not everyone is lucky enough to get rich. In my business plan, I would theoretically manage it. I implemented a pension for elderly, Ltd., which would make a profit on just two out of three stated options. The first option I have called "Optimistic", while I consider it as the default option. This option would only occur if the pension was fully occupied. As it is known, it is just an ideal vision. At the same time, I don't want to condemn this idea, because with ensuring adequate demand at the beginning could this idea be fulfilled. Next option called "Realistic" would mean occupying the pension by 75 %. The profit would be 3 times lower by comparing with the Optimistic one, but would still make amount somewhere around hundred thousands crowns. That means it is still quite positive result. Regarding the third option "Pessimistic" I must simply state, I would have to leave the business because I'm having substantial loss in the first and second year of business. In the following years, the profit and loss statement shows that I make profit. It does not solve anything, because throughout the enterprise the cash flow is in negative numbers. Consequently, I have no funds to operate the pension and primarily to repay the loan. So I would like to claim, that I reached the goal I got to myself and simultaneously I even pointed out other options, where in one case the goal wasn't accomplished.

Slowly rotating sources around static black holes
Čížek, Pavel ; Semerák, Oldřich (advisor) ; Ledvinka, Tomáš (referee)
In this thesis we study the possibility of perturbative solution of the Einstein equations in the case of stationary and axially symmetric metric. The method is motivated by the pursuit of describing the astrophysically important system of a black hole surrounded by a thin disc or a ring. A Schwarzschild black hole is thus considered as a central source, with a light and/or slowly rotating disc around. We show that the metric can be found in terms of perturbative expansions in relative disc mass or in inverted distance from the hole, and point out where problems occur. The approach can be applied to a disc "given in advance" as well as in the "self-consistent" case when the disc elements orbit on circular geodesics in the desired total eld. It can also be generalised to the discs composed of more dust components.

The Financial Literacy of Senior Citizens
KOCANDOVÁ, Soňa
This bachelor thesis focuses on the elderly and their financial literacy. This thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines actual knowledge about this theme and is divided into two chapters an introduction to issues about ageing and financial literacy. The author talks about seniors, demographic situation of ageing, forms of living, secured retirement in old age and financial literacy. The author also paid attention to presentations of products. The practical part includes the actual implementation of research and interpretation of the data is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the work and objectives of the research questions. The aim is to map the awareness of seniors in the effective management of their finances. The author also set partial research questions and the main research question is whether seniors are aware of their financial security. The second chapter researches methodology, which includes a qualitative research method of semi-structured interviews. The interviews are divided into three fields. The first is introductory information, the second field is financial literacy and the last field is presentations of products. The research methodology also characterizes the surveyed group, which consists of ten respondents over sixty five years old and lives in the Trebon region. In the third and the most extensive chapter there are the results and data. The elderly mostly answered in a different way however in some ways they agreed. The last chapter evaluates results and draws the author´s opinion. It has been found out that respondents have diverse interests and hobbies in retirement and they participate in them very actively. The income of the respondents is satisfactory to those who live in a household of two members. The financial situation has been described as good as well as average. Fifty percent of the respondents have experience with credit and only two of them create the budgets. The last set of questions was about demonstrations of goods and majority of the respondents have some experience with them. The last chapter is the conclusion which summarizes the information obtained. The main research question is whether seniors are aware of their financial security and the results show that all respondents have an over view of their finances. The elderly people orientate themselves well in money matters and they can optimally manage their money. They are vigilant in connection with credit and loans. They rather save money and they say that they do not buy anything when they do not have money. It is good that they are informed and can thus better resist the pitfalls that exist in this world, whether we like it or not. This thesis might be useful in practice for the elderly who want to try to draw up the budget. It can make a contribution to higher awareness about dangers of presentations of products.

Primary School Teacher - the Relationship Between Theory and Practice in the Professional Training
Urbanová, Radka ; Štech, Stanislav (advisor) ; Smetáčková, Irena (referee)
This work deals with permanent and yet actual subject of the relationship of theory and practise in education of teachers. The main subject is connected closely to professional identity of primary school teachers, as well. First of all, the theoretical part of this work focuses on the relationship of theory and practise. It's based on works of both Czech and foreign authors, specifically German and Swiss ones. Because there are different systems of teacher-preparation in these countries, the view on theory-practise relationship is different in many points, as well. Theoretical part is divided into five chapters. First one presents primary school teacher and shows his typical features which differentiate him from teachers in another levels of education. The second chapter describes a concept of pedagogical education of teachers. The third chapter deals with how differently may concept "practise" be percieved in context of their mutual relationship. The fourth chapter describes the relationship of theory and practise in pedagogy and the last, fifth one is the most comprehensive one and is further divided into three chapters.

Multicriteria games
Tichá, Michaela ; Dlouhý, Martin (advisor) ; Lachout, Petr (referee) ; Čičková, Zuzana (referee)
Theory of multicriteria games is a special field of game theory, when one or more players have at least two payoff functions and want to maximize simultaneously. The work introduces a number of new findings. It examined the concept of finding equilibria in pure strategies in noncooperative multicriteria game. It is possible to find all the equilibria in pure strategies by full search and solving two linear programs for each point. Furthermore, two linear programs are formulated for verifying that a selected point is the equilibrium of the game or not. In the noncooperative games is also introduced the concept that with knowledge of the equilibrium of bimatrix game determines preferences of the players. Although finding the equilibrium point of the bimatrix game is nonlinear problem, finding the preferences is linear problem. The latest findings in the noncooperative games is a generalization of the concept that solves multicriteria game by assigning weights to each criterion of each player. The work demonstrates that it may not be necessarily linear weights, but it can be more general function that describes the player's preference. The remaining part is devoted to knowledge in cooperative games. There is considered that the players know their preferences and are able to express them by weights. The game with known preferences is defined and solved with the use of bargaining theory. Then it is generalized to a case where players have more payoff functions, from which they can choose. Finally, the multicriteria case of voting game is defined. It is designed completely new concept, which selects the winning coalition in the voting game. This concept is then applied to the real situation after the elections to the Chamber of Deputies in 2013.

An Athletic Club
Hmirová, Marcela ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Krátký, Petr (referee)
AN ATHLETIC CLUB Thesis objectives: The aim of this diplomy thesis is to provide a description of my work with an athletic club. The objectives are organization, contents of the activities and children's reactions. Methods: While working on the thesis I used these methods: observation, symposium, discussion and description. From my point of view the most effective method was a discussion. Children could express their attitude towards the given activity. Results: Children of the age 6 to 9 rather play group games and activities. Those 10 and 11 years old prefer competing with each other, where they can compare their performance with friends. Keywords: athletics, an athletic club, exercise, children, competition, game
