To Use the Waldorf Pedagogical System in Free-time Activities, or Is It Possible to Use the Waldorf Pedagogical Educational System in Scouting System?
Vondrušková, Josefína ; Ortová, Marie (advisor) ; Růžička, Vít (referee)
The topic of my work: to use the Waldorf pedagogical educational system in free-time activities, or is it possible to use the Waldorf pedagogical educational system in scouting system? This is the reason why in my work I am trying to compare the approach of Steinerov's pedogogical system and scouting methods in upbringing children. The goal of my work is to find compatable elements and different disputes of both systems and by this find out if it is possible to apply the Waldorf system in scouting practices. My work, most of all is based on long terms work and experience in scouting groups and the Waldorf systems is based on theoretical information found in professional and available literature. I deal, mainly, with children's current wishes and demands for free-time activities, and hence at the same time I am trying to find a possibility to modernize scouting upbringing and practices in order for the center to be more interesting especially for children. One of the possibilities I see is found especially in this form of educational system. After stating the requirments for free-time activity I try to completely characterize the current methods, individually important of the area in preactice. In a similar way, I describe walsorfskou pedagogicu and antroposophical approach to the upbriniging. In the last...

Evolution of Morality, Morality of Evolution
Šafránek, Jakub ; Komárek, Stanislav (advisor) ; Stella, Marco (referee)
The goal of this work is to present attitudes of two contemporary authors who are in the center of the evolutionary-origin-of morality debate, that is theories of Richard Dawkins and Frans de Waal. The critical reflection of their works on this topic will center around the building blocks of morality and the supposed "moral sense", which according to the dutch primatologist humans to some extent share with some of their living evolutinary relatives. In case of Richard Dawkins we are about to review his meme theory and parasytical character of some elements of culture. Morevoer there will be presented accounts of the dual inheritance theorists, which in authors opinion can reunite both presented authors and thier attitudes, i.e. put the parasytic/independent character of memes in accordance with the building blocks of morality approach. This approach in turn can explain many phenomena of human contemporary morals and their limits. Keywords: Morality, evolution, dual inheritance theory, coevolution, memes

Rakhmanova, Malika ; Šperková, Lucie (advisor) ; Karkošková, Soňa (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to identify the main trends that are occurring in the market of Business Intelligence and related to unstructured data, to describe the possibilities for integrating unstructured data, to clarify what the impact on the company have the results that can be obtained using these solutions and how generally incorporate an analysis of unstructured data into BI. Another aim is to show the current situation of processing unstructured data on the example of BI system. The thesis is divided into several parts. First part is describing of the Business Intelligence area and the basic components of Business Intelligence, as well as identifying market trends. Then, there is the next part: separating the data into structured and unstructured. Here is the part about how you can access and analyse unstructured data and what is their place in BI systems. This is the end of a block of unstructured data and the beginning of a description of the enhanced version of BI. Finally, the current market situation and BI tools, which include unstructured data, are introduced. This section provides an overview of how BI tools approach to analyse unstructured data. Existed literature, professional and freely available Internet resources are used for writing the work. The purpose is to serve as a source of information for quickly orienting in the current situation, to serve as a guide to the world of BI solutions and to show potential users what are the options and functionality of these BI solutions.

Strategies and Practices used by Vicars and female Vicars to affecting number of Believers
Matoušová, Jana ; Hájek, Martin (advisor) ; Kandert, Josef (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the problem how parish priests and female parish priests respond to the trends in the number of the believers who attend their worships and the strategies used by parish priests to keep the current number of believers constant, or even how to increase it. According to the results of population census the number of believers organized in three largest Czech religious denominations has been decreased in the last 20 years. The attitudes and opinions of parish priests and female parish priests on the number of their believers have been examined with the help of a qualitative research. Nine semi-structured interviews with parish priests and female parish priests of three largest Czech churches, which are the Roman Catholic Church, the Evangelical Church and the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, have been done. According to the obtained data we can identify two strategies currently used by clergymen. The first one is a passive approach to addressing believers during ritualistic religious ceremonies. The parish priests and female parish priests who noticed a decrease in the number of their believers identify themselves with this strategy. On the other hand the other group is characterized by efforts to organize a huge number of cultural events and programs for the general public....

The role of acetylation in the RNA recognition motif of SRSF5 protein
Icha, Jaroslav ; Staněk, David (advisor) ; Šenigl, Filip (referee)
Acetylation is emerging as an important posttranslational modification, which is found in thousands of proteins in eukaryotes, as well as prokaryotes. Global proteomic studies implicated acetylation in regulation of various processes like metabolism, gene expression, cell cycle or aging to name a few. In this work I set out to investigate the role of acetylation of a splicing regulatory protein SRSF5 by creating mutations in its acetylation site. I tested the hypothesis that acetylation influences SRSF5 interaction with RNA. I expressed acetylation-mimicking (Q) or non-acetylable (R) mutant of SRSF5 in HeLa cells and measured their interaction with RNA by RNA immunoprecipitation or in vitro by fluorescence anisotropy. Both approaches agreed that mutants interact with RNA less than the wild type protein and Q mutant bound RNA weaker than R mutant. I did not detect further difference in localization or dynamics among the proteins in vivo, which suggests that difference caused by weakened interaction of mutants with RNA was outweighed by other factors influencing SRSF5 behaviour, probably protein-protein interactions. I also found out that mutant SRSF5 proteins do not have a dominant effect on splicing of fibronectin alternative EDB exon. The data obtained give an indirect evidence for the hypothesis that...

Policy of equal opportunities in a selected organization
Krátká, Martina ; Pauknerová, Daniela (advisor) ; Šišková, Eva (referee)
The Master's thesis is dealing with equal opportunities in organizations in terms of gender, gender discrimination, work-life balance and other related topics. The aim of the thesis is to analyze equal opportunities in a selected organization, to find out the viewing of equal opportunities by female and male managers and to compare programs supporting equal opportunities offered by bank to programs of organizations awarded for their innovative approach to this issue. After analysis of all available materials it's possible to conclude that the Bank is not the leader in the field of equal opportunities but a successful follower. Currently the bank is trying to implement various programs supporting women in management and work-life balance and following the principles of diversity.

Does comics belong to literature? Literary substance of comics
Taud, Rostislav ; Bílek, Petr (advisor) ; Jareš, Michal (referee)
At first, the thesis describes the question of the "literary substance" of comics and how czech comics theory has dealt with it. Although the theory claims now that comics is not a part of literature, there is no scholarly reflection of this point. In the second part of the thesis, comics is compared to literature from three different points of view: the autenticity of the artwork, the use of verbal language, and the artifact (work of art as an object). Nevertheless, it shows that literature and comics cannot be compared clearly: comics is an autographic two-stage art dealing with spatial parameters of writing and with a book as its artifact; literature is an allographic one-stage art and its artifact is (virtually) sound. The last part applies some approaches of literary theory (narration, narrator, poetics, reception, reader etc.) to comics. In spite of the mutual incomarability, comics could be analysed with the instruments of literary theory but it depends on how much the theory deals with the primary substance of literature, i.e. language.

Packet Classification Algorithms
Díky použití hashovací funkce lze mapování provést v konstantním čase a využít při tom pouze jednu paměť s úzkým datovým rozhraním. Rychlost tohoto algoritmu lze určit analyticky a nezávisí na počtu pravidel ani na charakteru síťového provozu. S využitím dostupných součástek lze dosáhnout propustnosti 266 milionů paketů za sekundu. Následující tři algoritmy uvedené v této práci snižují paměťové nároky prvního algoritmu, aniž by ovlivňovaly rychlost. Druhý algoritmus snižuje velikost paměti o 11 % až 96 % v závislosti na sadě pravidel. Nevýhodu nízké stability odstraňuje třetí algoritmus, který v porovnání s prvním zmenšuje paměťové nároky o 31 % až 84 %. Čtvrtý algoritmus kombinuje třetí algoritmus se starším přístupem a díky využití několika technik zmenšuje paměťové nároky o 73 % až 99 %.

Memoirs of the empress Catherine II. and Personal correspondence of Catherine the Great and prince Grigory Potemkin in Czech translations
Žídková, Ivana ; Oganesjanová, Danuše (referee) ; Rubáš, Stanislav (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is to compare the books II and II ... with their respective Czech translations. Unfortunately, the second publication is translated from a French original, and therefore we cannot analyze it. Empress Catherine II reigned between 1762 and 1796 and definitely belongs among significant rulers of the Russian empire. The introduction sketches out Catherine's character. We learn that she was quite well-read for her times, she had noble ideas and she was not in a hurry to realize them. She authored many tracts, theater plays, articles and her own memoirs. Those were meant to present her own persona, to justify her actions, and at the same time they were supposed to remain a permanent memory of the empress. Despite Catherine's stylistic ambitions, her writing does not reach the same artistic qualities as that of other writers. Her focus is on the content rather than on the form. That is also one of the characteristics of memoirs that belong to a documentary-artistic literature. Memoirs are likely to contain scholarly themes and that requires special preparation by the translator. The translator should not omit nor add anything and should provide explanation for difficult parts. We were interested in how this translator, Věra Amelová, approached the old-fashioned and challenging text...
