Technological Foresight: Analysis of Potentially Disruptive Future Technologies in Banking
Dunovský, Tomáš ; Jiřinová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Žďára, Tomáš (referee)
This Master's Thesis is focused on technological foresight in the banking industry in Europe. It includes consecutive two parts. The first one is theoretical and focuses on defining the terms necessary for the development of technological foresight, stated criteria, triggers and terms necessary for the development of analysis of potential technological problems and their solutions. The second part is practical and it includes the technological foresight, analysis of trends that will disrupt banking and introduce a vision of personal banking product of the future. A comparison of product vision to current trends and if those can be considered disruptive follow this part. The last part of the thesis includes diffusion criteria of innovation as according to the Rogers's Model, a set of triggers after which the defined investment fund can consider an investment into technology, and an analysis of potential technological issues with proposed solutions.

Potenciální antimikrobiální účinky vybraných přírodních látek
MAŠKOVÁ, Hana
This study was focused on potential antiviral and antibacterial effects of viniferin and some derivatives of adamantane. The most suitable concentration was determined using flow cytometer. The antiviral effect on tick-borne encephalitis virus infection in glioblastoma cells was determined. Virus concentration was determined using plaque assay. The antibacterial effect was detected by the incubation of bacterial strains with suitable concentration of selected natural substances. The rate of bacterial growth was determined using absorbance measurement at 600 nm and plating on agar plates.

Assessment of aromatic compounds with allergenic effect
Obrdlíková, Blanka ; Sůkalová, Kateřina (referee) ; Vítová, Eva (advisor)
The thesis deals with the determination of allergenic fragrances in cosmetics. The theoretical part is focused on the description of cosmetic products, the use of fragrances in the preparation of cosmetics, obtaining fragrances and their allergenic effects on the human body. In the practical part the SPME-GC-FID method is used for the determination of aromatic substances with allergenic potential in selected cosmetic products (natural creams and toilet water).

Cunsumer behavior of Neoluxor customers in charity support point of view
Bíbová, Barbora ; Koudelka, Jan (advisor) ; Zamazalová, Marcela (referee)
The main goal of the thesis is to learn the dominant factors of consumers behaviour of Neoluxor customers and the influence of institution support in their determination processes. The starting point for customer decisions is the attitude towards the nonprofit sector in general. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of the fundamental activities and terms which are used further in the practical part. The crossing of profit and nonprofit sector in the thesis requires to differentiate understanding of marketing in individual points of view. Corporal responsibility becomes an influencing factor in the strategy of both profit (Neoluxor) and nonprofit organizations (TERIBEAR, Konto Bariéry, ADRA). The practical part selects useful information of secondary research and also, with the results of the questionare, it makes the image of the dominating features of decision making of present and potential customers. The thesis is concluded by the evaluation of results of the research and recommends a more effective cooperation of institutions with the market using Neoluxor network.

Benzodiazine Derivatives as Compounds with Potential Bronchodilatory Activity
Šašková, Jaroslava ; Špulák, Marcel (advisor) ; Kuneš, Jiří (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Inorganic and organic chemistry Candidate Mgr. Jaroslava Šašková Consultant PharmDr. Marcel Špulák, PhD. Title of Thesis Benzodiazine derivatives as compounds with potential bronchodilatory activity This thesis describes the synthesis of various benzodiazines, in this case derived from quinazoline and quinoxaline. We followed a synthesis of quinazoline derivatives structurally analogous to vasicine and vasicinone, alkaloids isolated from a plant Adhatoda vasica. The original derivatives were tested by the common in vitro model of isolated rat trachea. Two compounds, 4-[3-(piperidine-1-yl)propyloxy]quinazoline and 4-[3-(piperidine-1-yl)propylsulfanyl]quinazoline, showed promising bronchodilatory activities. Therefore, we selected these molecules as model structures for our further syntheses. The first group of compounds was syntesized by oxidation of 4-[3-(piperidine-1-yl)propyloxy]quinazoline. We oxidated a nitrogen atom in the piperidine side chain of the parent molecule and we succeeded to create, in two steps, derivative based on quinazoline-1-oxide. Attempts to oxidize a sulphur atom in 4-[3-(piperidine-1-yl)propylsulfanyl]quinazoline were due to oxidative desulfuration unsuccessful, the only isolated product of...

Analysis of drawing EU Structural funds in the Czech Republic with a detailed focus on OP PIK
Procházka, David ; Svobodová, Ivana (advisor) ; Schön, Kateřina (referee)
Since the third and possibly the last grant period for the Czech Republic in the framework of drawing the European Funds is underway, it is assumed that businesses successfully and efficiently draw funds with allocated resources for the Czech Republic. Agencies should also help to the effective implementation, however, their activities do not reflect the market and clients requirements properly. To confirm that, the Czech Republic was in previous years, one of the worst states in terms of efficiency of drawing on funds of the EU structural funds, which was caused by an improperly formed grant system by management authorities, as well as misconduct on the part of applicants and potential beneficiaries and agencies with their erroneous philosophies. Author task was to analyse the causes of drawing funds inefficiency with a detailed focus on Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation and Entreprise and Innovation for Competitiveness used mainly for businesses. Diploma thesis not only analyses the current grant situation in which entrepreneurs can submit their project applications but also proposes possible solutions how to help entrepreneurs in drawing on funds.

The realization of selected mathematical computations using graphical cards.
Schreiber, Petr ; Krejsa, Jiří (referee) ; Ondroušek, Vít (advisor)
This work discusses available approaches for programming graphic hardware as a platform for executing parallel calculations. Text of the work is focused on new OpenCL technology, which allows executing the same high level code for taking control of full potential of multicore CPUs and GPUs, without explicit bindings to hardware vendor or operating system. Author provides the reader with libraries and tools based on OpenCL, along with practical examples and own observations about the current state of mentioned technology.

Effects of Spirulina platensis on the expression of endothelial NO synthase in apoE-deficient mouse model of atherosclerosis
Pešlová, Monika ; Nachtigal, Petr (advisor) ; Kopecký, Martin (referee)
1. ABSTRACT Spirulina platensis is a blue-green microalga belonging to the cyanobacteria family. Microalga is a large source of proteins and good fatty acid and other nutritional elements, for example iron, calcium, chromium, lithium, selenium. It also contains natural dyes chlorophyll, phycocyanin. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory were described. The aim of this thesis was to determine potencial hypolipidemic effects and potential effects on endothelium of Spirulina platensis in apoE-deficient mice. ApoE-deficient mice were fed standard diet for 2 weeks. At the age of 8 weeks the control group of animals were fed with the western type diet, which contained 21% fat and 0,15% cholesterol for 8 weeks. The same atherogenic diet was used in Spirulina platensis group, where Spirulina platensis was added to the atherogenic diet at the dosage of 20 mg per day. The biochemical analysis of lipid spectrum was done, area of atherosclerotic lesions was determined and imunohistochemical and stereological analysis of eNOS expression was performed as well. The results of this thesis showed positive effects of Spirulina platensis on cholesterol levels, VLDL and LDL cholesterol. Moreover stereological analysis of imunohischemical staining revealed that, that endotelial expression eNOS was significantly increased by...
