Analyses of the regulation's and supervision's models in the financial market
Jakub, František ; Musílek, Petr (advisor) ; Tomšík, Vladimír (referee) ; Jirák, Pavel (referee)
My thesis is directed to the definition, description and comparison of models of the financial market's regulation and supervision. The attention is addressed in particular to institutional aspects of individual systems, advantages and risks which are connected with them, and also to reasons which trigger changes in single countries. The internacional standards are basis for their legal anchorage in which parameters of the independence and accountibility play an immense role. The quality setting of the institutional structure is one, however not sufficient, presumption for the effective supervision's performance. It should not be an objective but only a stepping stone to achieve a better effeciency. The decision which model will be applied for the regulation and supervision is left upon national jurisdictions as it is actually them to take into account all the benefits and expenses including the economic size, structure and level of the market development, legal environment and the central bank's role. Within the last 20 years a fully integrated supervision was generally accepted in the frame of single institution for all financial market's sectors, mostly outside the central bank. Nevertheless, the contemporary regulation is scrutinized in the light of global financial crisis originated in the year 2008. On the base of actual findings it can be expressed that the current mechanism of regulation is not efficient and does not correspond with the degree of global interconnection among financial markets and the offer of inovative financial products. Although the European Union prepared amendments which came into effect from January 1st 2011, by which new bodies were established, the time for a detailed analysis of the potentional contributions has not come yet. However, I suppose the framework for regulation will again be reevaluated in the future. In my opinion no solution brings a complete eliminaton of risks concerning vulnerabilities and systematic shocks on the financial markets. The main analytic part of my thesis is focused on the current supervisory system in the Czech republic and Slovakia, which is based on fully integrated architecture within the central bank. Having used the methods of enquiry and intentional selection I verified the validity of two hypotheses: 1. National supervisory institutions grow in favour of market participants unlike the new set european bodies. 2. The current institutional form of the financial market supervision has a support of market participants in the Czech republic and Slovakia. The results imply that the first hypothesis is valid for the Czech republic only where generally exists a bigger discretion in relation to the new european regulation and supervision bodies. In the case of the second hypothesis it can be said that it was confirmed in terms of the institutional form of the financial market supervision has a major support of financial institutions and experts in both the Czech republic and Slovakia.

The great abundance of the decoration represents one of the most typical characteristics of the complex and connects this regent's of Netherlands Marguerite's of Austria foundation with a wider group of similar buildings on the territory of todays Belgium and Netherlands. The main attention in this part of the work is given mostly to the sculptural decoration of the church in Brou, which culminates in it's most important part - the tombs of Marguerite of Austria, her husband duke of Savoy Filibert the Fair and his mother Marguerite of Bourbon. The elaboration of the theme results especially from the materials, that were obtained...

An unknown courteous word in Old Czech?
Nejedlý, Petr
The Old Czech hapax legomenon bnedovánie is used in the adaptation of the medieval knight romance Duke Ernest (Herzog Ernst). There are two hypotheses based on the lexical system: 1) the corrupt word is an archaic part of the word family constituted by the adjectiv sbedný and its derivates and it means ,a (brilliant and amusing) social behaviour corresponding with norms of court; (but we cannot satisfactorily explain word-formative processes leading from the sbedný to the bnedovánie); 2) the word is the corrupt form of Old Czech noun burdovánie (but its use is not convincing in the existing context).

Rozehnalová, Magda ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis presents a design solution of a total station. The proposal is processed especially with regard to technical, ergonomic and aesthetic requirements. The main inovation of the proposal lies in a complex ergonomic and aesthetic solution that better reflects modern trends in the field of surveying technology. In comparison to current designs of the device, new proposal of the total station perfectly integrates certain parts of the device, such as a control panel. Since it is a relatively small device, it is important to design all details properly, especially the form and arrangement of controls. The thesis also suggests a number of alternative solutions to particular problems. The proposal of a total station is suitable for various types of work and methods of surveying.

Pension reform in the Czech Republic - approach of system dynamics
PAPEŽ, Vladimír
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to provide a paradigmatic view on the future development of the pension system in Czech Republic within the environment of the system dynamics. This objective incorporates the goal of creating a dynamic model that will sufficiently informative and includes the key aspects, both the current and the future form of the pension system (PS) in Czech Republic. The results of the current form of PS conclude that under the presumption of slightly unfavourable demographic development and constancy of PS is the system unsustainable. The model also points out the fact that the problem of PS could be solved through its partial adjustment. Under the assumption of gradually increasing pension tax rate, opposed with the real value of pension benefit and gradual pension age postponement up to 71 years. The results of the pension form post reformed analysis pension form are based on the assumption of intergenerational schism. That means different attitudes to the pension system reform. Pension system post reformed analysis results coincidently work with the fact that all people under 30 years (year 2009) will join the voluntary pension fund system. The current scenarios consider that the coming generation of working population will without exception enter this voluntary system. The older population (aged over 31 years) will not participate in the pension reform. Another common feature of the proposed scenarios is the fact that all individuals will join the capital pillar (the pension voluntary system) at the beginning of the year 2013. When comparing current and post reform form of the pension system a remarkable finding has arisen. The model of the post reform PS shows considerably worse results than is model of the current PS form.

The aim of the thesis has been to propose a model relief services facility for senior citizens in the region Trhové Sviny on the basis of results of an analysis of the region{\crq}s potential and needs. The current offer of services for seniors has been identified, including the possible necessity of extending this offer by facilities providing relief services. The non-governmental organisation Borůvka, Borovany providing relief services to families with handicapped children would welcome an expansion of relief services and therefore it is likely that the project will be implemented in co-operation with this non-governmental organisation. In the theoretical part, the target group of the model facility is described first. Good knowledge of the recipients of the service {--} in this case senior citizens {--} is a basic prerequisite for creating adequate services. Furthermore, social services that are suitable for seniors are described in this part, with a special focus on relief services. The history of relief services has been mentioned, including their models, forms and the contents of these services. The family and the senior are also described here. The practical part describes the current offer of services for seniors in the region Trhové Sviny. A SWOT analysis for the proposed facility has been processed in this part. This part contains the details of the project{\crq}s aim, sphere of activity, characteristics of the target group and specific description of individual services, methods and forms of work in the facility, staffing, possible sources of financing and expected expenses and the technical solution of the entire project. This thesis should serve as a manual for the implementing the new relief services facility, which should be created in the future in co-operation with the non-governmental organisation Borůvka, Borovany.
