Actuators for Flow Control Based on Plasma Principle
Procházka, Pavel P. ; Uruba, Václav ; Šonský, Jiří
One can distinguish between two types of flow control, passive and active. Active flow control has a few advantages. The biggest advantage is a possibility to influence the flow only if there is a need. By contrast, the passive control acts all the time and for all regimes and this is not good in terms of fuel consumption, for example. Active flow control provides the necessary momentum to the shear layer from an external source, as opposed to passive control which uses the momentum of free stream of fluid.

Střechová, Lenka ; Horáček, Vít (referee) ; Plíva, Stanislav (advisor)
Zásady zadávaní veřejných zakázek a jejich zabezpečení v zadávacím řízení 75 Summary The reason why I had chosen this topic of my thesis is because of my deep interest in public procurement law in general. Public procurement in the Czech Republic is regulated by the Act No. 137/2006 Coll., on Public Procurement ("the Act" as follows). Due to incorporation of the Czech Republic into the EU there have been many legislative changes in last few years. The act reflects the requisitions on public procurement imposed by the EU and in accordance with the EU public procurement directives, also deals with three basic principles - principle of transparency, non- discrimination and equal treatment. These principles are expressed in the Section 6 of the Act, which is a result of transposition of directive 2004/18/EC into the Czech legislation. The goal of my thesis is to clarify the basic principles and than to analyze if these principles are respected by contracting authorities within the process of awarding public contracts. In my thesis I use not only the acts regulating public procurement and the literature but also many decisions of the Office for the protection of competition and judicature of Czech administrative courts as well the European Court of Justice. In particular it is because not all questions relating...

The topic of this thesis is reward management and its application in a small-sized IT enterprise. Its goals are to properly document and describe current reward system in the company, evaluate the system and recommend improvements for the system. The first two goals are reached via thorough research of the company through semi-structured interviews, employee satisfaction survey, participant observation and document examination and the last one by applying principles from the current literature and education to the results of the two previous goals. The findings are that the reward system, despite growing organically instead of designed, is relatively effective in some areas, but needs improvement in other areas. The main improvement areas are motivation by contingent pay, communication management and performance management. Relatively well working rewards are especially non-financial reward connected to the work environment and work itself.

83 VIII. RESUMÉ International Protection of Industrial Rights Intellectual property is a dynamic area of law, flowering especially in the age of information society. Thanks to new technologies and mainly due to the use of Internet the local markets are becoming global. As intellectual property becomes more interconnected with other fields of law its importance keeps rising and so does the role of international regulation. Particular industry rights protection may be relied upon only when protected in all the countries of potential exploitation. International agreements relevant for this area of law are analysed in this work and emphasis is put on their main functions, which is the overcoming of the principle of territorial limitation and the guarantee of protection of the rights attained in one state by other states. The goal of my thesis is to provide an insight on the problematic of international regulation of intellectual property, analyse it from the legal point of view and reflect its significance in the light of actual social context. In order to fulfil this goal I have chosen to use the following methods: literature analysis, statistical analysis, comparative analysis and secondary analysis. Despite the role of industrial right played in the recent times they seem to be subject to rather marginal...
