Statistical transformation of the precipitation data from regional climatic model to particular conditions of the Malse river basin
Hnilica, Jan ; Šípek, Václav
Paper describes procedure of statistical adaptation of the raw large-scale climate model data based on transformation between cumulative distribution functions of the model and real datasets. We developed two alternative ways and we validated those using data from Malse river basin.

Stress-free and stress-assisted aging of NiTi shape memory alloys
Dlouhý, Antonín ; Bojda, Ondřej ; Fiala, J.
The present work investigates coherent Ni4Ti3 precipitates in a Ti-50,7at%Ni shape memory alloy after different thermo-mechanical treatments. The study is based on the quantitative TEM (transmission electron microscopy) image analysis using the ACC (Adaptive Contrast Control) programme. The attention is given to a number, size and volume fraction of individual crystallographic variants of the Ni4Ti3 precipitates. Preliminary results suggest that, after common heat treatments, the precipitation of Ni4Ti3 particles is inhomogeneous not only as far as the density of particles in the original B2 grains is concerned but also with respect to the distribution of the crystallographic particle variants. The possible influence of the heterogeneous Ni4Ti3 precipitation on the characteristics of the martensitic transformations B2-R-B19’ is discussed.

The transformation of the hegemonic party: the case of Mexico
Mrvová, Lucie ; Němec, Jan (advisor) ; Paulenková, Kristína (referee)
In many countries there are several political parties in power. In some of them, however, one party is in a position of hegemony. Other political parties are prevented to exercise their real power and often act only as a parties creating an illusion of democracy in a state where it does not exist. The present thesis deals with the hegemonic party systems in terms of their origin and subsequent transition. The thesis is based on the hypothesis that changing the rules of the hegemonic party will lead it to lose its status and power. As a case study of the hegemonic party regimes serves political system in Mexico, Mozambique and Cambodia. The first chapter defines the notion of a political party, party systems theory and transition mode. The second chapter deals with the hegemonic party systems. The third chapter deals with the case of Mexico and its system of hegemonic party. Findings refute the validity of the above hypothesis, since in many countries, even after the successful completion of the transition, earlier hegemonic parties maintain their power and their electoral support is high.

Main focus of this thesis is to provide the overview of the area of Enterprise architecture and outsourcing as well as the description of the selected notation of Enterprise architecture modeling, which will be main instrument in describing the transformation. Theoretical part of the work is divided into three parts. Firstly there is description of the enterprise architecture and chosen connected areas, followed by description of the outsourcing process and description of the modeling language ArchiMate. Practical part of the work is composed of analysis, description and evaluation of the transformation of the selected company. Among the main contribution of this thesis there is description of the changes during the transformation using the ArchiMate modeling language and identifying of concrete impacts of outsourcing on Enterprise architecture of the company.

Ellipsometry of Thin Films
Novotný, Zbyněk ; Navrátil, Karel (referee) ; Nebojsa, Alois (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with ageing process of thin films of Co and Cu on Si substrate, prepared by the IBAD method. The process of film ageing, which depends on time of exposition to the atmosphere at room conditions, was investigated with spectroscopic ellipsometry (VIS+UV) and atomic force microscopy. In case of thin Co films, approximately four days long incubation period was observed. During this time period, a change in the optical parameters of the film occurs without a measurable change of the film topography. Using non-contact atomic force microscopy, a growth of the transitional film in the island growth regime was observed. During the ageing of thin Cu films, two stages of growth of the transitional layer were observed - nucleation stage and growth stage. Both of these time periods of the transitional layer growth show direct logarithmic dependence. Using non-contact atomic force microscopy, the growth of the transitional film was observed. Using atomic force microscopy in non-contact regime, time dependent measurement was done and the process of forming of one monolayer of the transitional layer was documented. Within the diploma thesis, a series of experiments on ultra high vacuum system were performed in order to investigate phase transformation of thin Fe films (22 monolayers) on Cu(100) stabilized by CO absorption. The transformation from fcc phase to bcc phase was induced by Ar+ ion beam bombardment with the ion energy in the range (0.5-4) keV. The process of phase transformation was observed by surface magneto-optic Kerr effect, Auger electron spectroscopy and low energy electron diffraction.

Exchange rate policy of People's Bank of China under pressure of yuan internationalization
Randl, Tomáš ; Hnát, Pavel (advisor) ; Jedlinský, Jakub (referee)
Chinese economy has reached its export limits and is located in an era of transformation process into new economic model based on domestic consumption and sector of services. Under pressure from foreign entities which require internationalization of yuan as an implementation of free floating exhange rate regime, China must deal with number of problems arising from the process of economic transformation. This thesis examines possible solutions to current problems from the perspective of exchange rate policy of the People's Bank of China.

Transformation of the simulation model from SW SimPro to SW Plant Simulation
Hloska, Jiří ; Štoček, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis is based on creation of a simulation model of the conveyor bridge between a paint-shop and an assembly hall in the company Škoda Auto, a.s. in Mladá Boleslav. The model was created in the simulation software Plant Simulation on the grounds of an existing model in simulation software SimPro. Analysis of the existing model in software SimPro as well as a system analysis of conveyors used in the respected production section is carried out in the thesis. Results of simulation experiments accomplished with the newly created model follow. These experiments verify the throughput rate for various production programmes. On the grounds of these results a bottleneck analysis of the conveyor system is carried out and arrangements leading to increase in its throughput rate are made.

Cavitation assessment from flow rate drop and high-frequency pressure pulsations.
Šebek, Miloš ; Hudec, Martin (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
Main issue of this master´s thesis deals with high-frequency pulsations caused by cavitating hydraulic components (in this case nozzle and throttle valve). In first measurement on the nozzle was not a high-frequency sensor set in the way, so the evaluation was incorrect. After re-setting of the way was the nozzle measured again and the pulsations were evaluated correct this time. During the last measurement was the sensor located behind the throttle valve, which was with gradual opening and cavitation treatment measured. Resulting dependencies worked out on time dependence. A special mathematical method, Fourier transformation, was used. It transformed pressure amplitudes into frequency dependence. Evaluation of dependecies is the basic step for frequency band assesment, in which the cavitation on particular components happens.

Phase-correlation based image registration

Transformation of Network Data Reporting Process
Tolar, Tomáš ; Matuštík, Ondřej (advisor) ; Malinová, Ludmila (referee)
This thesis deals with transformation of network data reporting process in a Telecom company. The current process is MS Excel based and is inadequate and inefficient. The goal is to find the right tools and to implement them. The thesis is divided into three parts. First part is focused on theoretical background of reporting, i.e. Business Intelligence and other approaches. Second part explains general Network reporting principles and trends. In contrast with these theoretical recommendations, the actual level of the company's process is depicted. The last part of this thesis covers a practical implementation of selected applications. First, a choice is made within a variety of tools based on department's needs then the architecture is proposed and applications are implemented. The final part of the thesis provides an assessment of the benefits attained by this project.
