Evaluation of landscape amenity is not very common and relatively difficult from the economic point of view. In our case study focused on comparing aesthetic preferences of Czech and Japan respondents regarding rural landscape. We used the contingent valuation method. We also wanted to reveal the respondent’s preferences in a financial form. These preferences served us as quantitative indicator for an attestation of the respondent’s qualitative preferences. It seemed that a strong correlation between the aesthetical and financial evaluation exist in two extreme cases – respondents were not interested, or they were strongly involved in landscape amenity. A substantial difference occured between the Czech and Japanese respondents in the case of case of open or closed access to the landscape.

Development of interest rates in the mortgage market in the Czech Republic between 2006-2016

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the development of interest rates in the mortgage market in the Czech Republic in the decade between 2006 and 2016. A strong economic growth between 2006 and 2007, which had positive effects in the mortgage loan market, was followed by a deep slump in the form of global financial crisis unleashed by speculations in the real estate market in the U.S. The main aim of the work is based on the development of mortgage interest rates and the significant factors that affect their amount - to verify or disprove the hypothesis that interest rates respond to changes of these factors. The results confirm the hypothesis only in certain areas. The influence of changes of interest rates has been proven in the case of inflation and discount rates by usage of the econometric model. Factors that have not shown a significant direct influence of interest rates may have an indirect influence on their change.

Analysis of the real estate market in Hradec Králové region

The aim of this thesis is analysis of real estate market with focus to small investor with interest in appartments in Hradec Králové region. The first part is theoretical, oriented to general information about real estate market and useful economical knowledge for investing into real estate. Practical part is focused to Hradec Králové region. The best localities are find out with financial and general (e.g. geographical, demografical and infrastructure aspects) research of the region. In these recommended areas are made model analysis and potentional evaluations for the purpose of small investor in this region.

This paper is dedicated the study of the Cyech press between 1945-48. The autor deals with the new organization of the Czech press after the WW II. Political parties perceived the press as being national property, the subject of public interest. The privately-owned press was forbudden in 1945. Onlz political parties or special-interest organisation could publish daily newpapers and magazines. Rhe author describes the activities of Václav Kopecký - a communist who directed the Ministry of Information. The author characterizes the influence of this ministry on the organization of the Czech press.

To Use the Waldorf Pedagogical System in Free-time Activities, or Is It Possible to Use the Waldorf Pedagogical Educational System in Scouting System?

The topic of my work: to use the Waldorf pedagogical educational system in free-time activities, or is it possible to use the Waldorf pedagogical educational system in scouting system? This is the reason why in my work I am trying to compare the approach of Steinerov's pedogogical system and scouting methods in upbringing children. The goal of my work is to find compatable elements and different disputes of both systems and by this find out if it is possible to apply the Waldorf system in scouting practices. My work, most of all is based on long terms work and experience in scouting groups and the Waldorf systems is based on theoretical information found in professional and available literature. I deal, mainly, with children's current wishes and demands for free-time activities, and hence at the same time I am trying to find a possibility to modernize scouting upbringing and practices in order for the center to be more interesting especially for children. One of the possibilities I see is found especially in this form of educational system. After stating the requirments for free-time activity I try to completely characterize the current methods, individually important of the area in preactice. Economic cooperation between China and Sub-Saharan Africa

Building relations with China is a topic of broad and current interest, when it comes to establishing and deepening new economic cooperation between Sub-Saharan Africa and other regions. This thesis analyses current economic cooperation between these two regions with the prevailing emphasis on the African partner. The thesis is formally divided into five chapters. The first two chapters focus on selected theoretical and factual starting points related to the main topic of the thesis, which create a foundation stone for the other chapters. In the third chapter of the thesis, selected statistical data about current trade and investment cooperation between both partners are introduced. The main goal of the following fourth chapter is to analyze real impact of mutual cooperation on the selected country of Sub-Saharan region. The last chapter of the thesis analyses a relatively problematic and widely discussed issue: the classification and allocation of financial flows from China in the Sub-Saharan Africa.

Kinetic ability of boys and girls on the second grade of the primary school

THE TERM OF THE THESIS K.inetic ability ofboys and girls on the second grade ofthe primary school. THE PURPOSE OF THE THESIS The purpose of the thesis is to find a level of the kinetic efficiency in pubescence ofboys and girls and if there is any influence of subcutaneous fat on their kinetic efficiency. Next point is their interest in sport in their free time. THEMETHOD The thesis is elaborated in form of the empirie quantitative research. This research proceeds in standardized environment with minimalized outside influences (gym). Chosen group are pupils ofthe second grade ofthe primary school. CONCLUSION The conclusion of our study is that boys with higher rate of subcutaneous fat have lower the kinetic efficiency and they don't do any sport in their free time. Girls have a very similar conclusion, but girls, who were in group with average rate of subcutaneous fat, have better conclusions ofkinetic efficiency and they do sports more. Products with Protected Designations of the European Union and Their Position in Regional Tourism

The master thesis deals with products with protected designations of the European Union. The main objective of the master thesis is to evaluate the importance of the chosen product with protected designation of the EU in regional tourism and analyse the perception of the product by a producer and by tourists. The sub-objective is the description of the European system of food labelling. The thesis is divided into five main chapters. The first part explains basic concepts which are related to the thesis. The second chapter introduces the best known food quality labels. Greater attention is devoted to the description of the food protection system of the EU. The third chapter deals with the characteristics of the chosen region Beskydy-Wallachia. The second part of this chapter is focused on the chosen protected product Štramberské uši. The forth chapter includes a structured interview with the chosen producer of Štramberské uši and a survey research, which was conducted in two phases. The last chapter contains the evaluation of the implemented survey. The main finding of this thesis is the fact that a relatively high percentage of respondents know the product Štramberské uši. An interesting finding is the fact that only a small portion of them know that the product Štramberské uši is the holder of the protected designation of the European Union. The chosen producer of Štramberské uši sees the main benefit of the label in greater publicity. Among problems he ranks the enforceability of the label and lack of general promotion of Štramberské uši.

Aspects of the virtualization of higher education and its comparison in the CZ and US

The topic of this thesis is the evolution of online higher education in the CZ and US, from its beginnings to its current state. Emphasis is placed on describing MOOCs and virtualization in education, ranging from technological, pedagogical and didactic aspects to legislature and finance. A survey was conducted to determine the interest in online courses at the University of Economics, Prague and experience with online learning, resulting in an outline of the future development in this area.
