It focuses on the interposition of the job opportunities for the incoming foreign students at Brno University of Technology. It tries to find out the attitude of the foreigners to this theme and upon the analysis of the current situation it brings the suggestions for the extensions of the activities of the International Students Club with the view of improving the relationship between BUT and the foreign students.

The Bachelor thesis deals with the issue on employment of people with disabilities. The theoretical part contains the basic concepts and definition of industrial relations. Also, payroll accounting, economic aspects and the tax impacts on employment of people with disabilities to employers. The analytical part is focused on the analysis of the current state of employment of people with disabilities for the employer. In the final part there are already concrete proposals for solutions for the employers.
A Job Seeker and the Labour Office of the Czech Republic

A Job Seeker and the Labour Office of the Czech Republic Abstract The PhD thesis focuses primarily on the legal regulation of the Employment Act affecting the issue of job seekers within the activities of the Labour office, especially in the process of employment intermediation and in receiving unemployment benefits. The introductory theoretical interpretation of the fundamental social right guaranteed by the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, i.e. the right to work, is followed by a treatise on unemployment and its development. A compact overview of this issue is given by a summary of the concept of employment policy in the Czech Republic and within the European Union and its state management within the Czech Republic. The main part of the thesis presents an analysis of individual provisions of the Employment Act from the practical point of view of the job seeker. It defines his rights and obligations starting by submitting an application for mediation of suitable employment to the Labor office register. These are discussed in detail in relation to the main instruments that the job seeker may encounter during registration, such as "appropriate employment", "serious reasons", "temporary incapacity to work", "non- conflicting employment", "illegal work", etc. The thesis contains a detailed analysis...
The Employment Rate Based on the Present Valid Legal Amendment and Role of the Employment Bureau

This thesis is based on the current status of unemployment in the Czech Republic, on the current applicable legislation, and it takes into account the latest regulations of the Labor Code and the Employment Act. It also focuses on the work of the employment bureaus, particularly their retraining activities. It also analyzes the issue of so-called illegal employment. The practical part of the thesis covers the situation on the labor market in the Kutná Hora region. We studied the rate of unemployment and its flow in the individual micro-regions. We analyzed the structure of job seekers in terms of education and age. We also focused on the problems of the youth, school graduates, foreigners and handicapped people on the labor market in the area. During the period in question we evaluated the active employment policy of the Kutná Hora employment bureau. Here we performed an analysis of retraining of the job seekers, their placement and success on the labor market. The thesis provides a picture of the employment policy in the Czech Republic, which can be used to acquire comprehensive knowledge of this area.
Legal regulation of employment and welfare during unemployment

Legal regulation of employment and security against unemployment At the present time of economical recession many countries battle against high unemployment, which can contribute to many economical and social problems. The purpose of my thesis is to describe legal regulation of employment and security against unemployment in the Czech Republic. I focused on main parts of legal regulation and also thought over some institutes. When I came to the conclusion, that the legal regulation has some drawbacks, I suggested that an amendment should be passed. The thesis is composed of eight chapters. Chapter one defines unemployment and its kinds and elucidates, what full employment means, because it is the aim of legal regulation of employment in many countries. At the end of this chapter I sumarize developement of unemployment in Czech Republic from 1990 to present. Chapter two deals with right to work. I enumerate most important international documents, where right to work is regulated. Full employment was also soon mentioned as the basic aim of countries. Similar developement in Community law is described in part four. Employment of Persons Suffering from Mild Intellectual Disability in Kladno region

The aim of this thesis is to analyse employment of people suffering from mild intellectual disability. The thesis briefly describes those learning difficulties and selects a mild intellectual disability from a wide range of other mental disabilities. The text is based on the fact that people with learning difficulties are able to work, live in a family and become members of the society as well as to be independent citizens. However, there is a necessity to help those people not only with regard to their educational process, but also on the labour market, which is apparently highly competitive even for people without any special needs. The thesis is also focused on various possibilities of people suffering from learning difficulties in the terms of enabling them to get a job. In accordance with the regulation on mild intellectual disability people, the thesis suggests many of suitable positions within service industry. Owing to the fact that people with this type of disease are under protection of the law, and that there are some incentives for employers, nowadays it is much easier to find them a job. Discrimination of older persons in their access to employment

The thesis "Discrimination of older persons in their access to employment"focuses on the discrimination problem of persons over 50 years of age when they look for a job. The discrimination is one of the factors that prevent older persons from entering the labor market, which affects not only those persons but the whole society as well. At first, the thesis determines the theoretical concepts, which it comes from. Those concepts go through the whole thesis. Further on, it outlines a brief survey of national and European legal norms that deal with the given problem. It also introduces institutions that manage the problem and that we can contact in case of encounter with discrimination. In the next part, the thesis focuses on the negative aspects of discrimination and on the occurrence frequency of discrimination itself in the Czech Republic, particularly in the job advertisements and during job interviews. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on the discrimination of person over 50 in the district of Teplice, both from the point of view of the unemployed persons and the employees of the Labor Office. The final part identifies main fields of problems, which it propose possible solutions for.

The thesis is devided into seven parts. The first part deals with the history of the relationship of disabled persons and the society as it recorded the oldest Greek and Roman sources of law as well as sources in our country. It describes several measures that have been introduced to make the lives of the poor and the sick better until 1948 . The second part provides an overview of the most important international sources and sources of the European Union.
